Negative experience: Unfortunately I found this dentist practice and the whole experience traumatic , non friendly staff and quite an arrogant dentist and the cost was horrendous! never again

Negative experience: Reception staff are warm & welcoming. That's where it stops. The dentist's are negative and speak down to you, treating you're incompetent. On a filling, the dentist I had didn't clean the material away properly, resulting in me having hardened lines of amalgam/composite (the filling material) running down my teeth which I can constantly feel. Never been offered services like scaling. Furthermore, they employ a *blanket* policy of removing you from the books if you miss two appointments in year (NHS guidelines is two routine check ups per year). For those that are in the dentist 6/7 times or even more in a year, sometimes by the request of the dentist, it's not exactly fair.

Fantastic experience: Lydia Power As a person who has Autism. Lydia Power is totally very patient with me and explaining each step as she continues with her treatment with me. Lydia is kind and very support my condition. Coming to the dentist is now never a problem

She was thoroughly proffessional, informative, gentle and considerate, making sure i could rest my mouth regularly, which is something i have not experienced by many dentists before now. All in all the staff were friendly and helpful from the receptionists to the dental nurse, what a lovely dental practice to visit.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful service as normal the surgery is spotlessly clean,the staff are friendly professional and will answer questions and advise on any dental issues. I been going to this surgery since 1988 and will continue to do so.

Negative experience: Leave you waiting too long even if they are busy, do not listen when you are in pain, leave you worse off after treatment, and cannot treat problems effectively. In pain, have been for months, keep on with temp rubbish which doesn't work, given antibios which do NOT relieve infection after root canal, but then again, how many dentists are actually trained properly? It is a disgusting system which leaves you waiting in pain and cannot make things better. I do not like the silly insinuation I received that I 'may' have been experiencing pain they have not properly attended to the entire time I have been seen to, because of my looking up (nhs site I hasten to add) about the link between dental infection and upper arm/shoulder pain. I am not a child, I was even told that maybe the very deep stressful and sensitivity issues may just 'go away' if I didn't look on the internet, even though I explained that heat and cold are in fact, agony on certain teeth. Their job ought to be linked to getting you out of pain, NOT leaving you in it, and this after years of complaints. Telling me to find another dentist doesn't help, neither does leaving me in that state and refusing to do anything such as taking out the tooth, help either. Disgraceful, and most especially the part about insinuating my pain may be in my imagination. Do not go to this dentist, and do not pay them for one of their emergency appointments either when they in fact do nothing to relieve your actual pain.

Fantastic experience: Reception was kind and friendly. No forms to complete as I'd already done them on line. My appointment ran to time. Saw a lady today called Laxmi, who was excellent. I fully expected to have a broken tooth removed, but she managed to virtually remake half a tooth within a short timeframe, with the minimum of fuss and discomfort. I am more than happy to have her as my regular dentist going forward.
