Fantastic experience: They are amazing people at this advaced dentistry practice. My dentist Gary is the kindest most patient and professional dentist i have ever had. He has completed 2 implants for me and they are perfect. I can not recommend this paractice enough all the staff are wonderful. Praise where praise is due they are fsntsstic. Thank you so much.

They had obviously had a lot of wear through the years, but it had never been suggested to me before that my worn down teeth could be built up. Thank you so much. On my second admission I was recommended Exeter Advanced Dentistry and it was honestly the best recommendation I have ever received! I was involved in giving consent for the procedures to go ahead. During the procedure the dentist explained the processes he was about to carried out. Checked on several occasions how I was feeling. The dentist explained clearly the next part of the treatment plan required. Advice was given for any further problems.

Negative experience: I went last year to get treatment for my TMJ. As advertised they injected a small amount of Botox, in areas supposedly to minimise the affect on the smile. I followed their instructions exactly, yet was left completely unable to smile for months. When I tried, my mouth wouldn’t move. This led to a lot of self consciousness, crying and avoiding social events. I went back in about it and they told me it was fine (it was not). As someone who has a big and notable smile it drastically altered my appearance. Whilst I understand this can happen with Botox if done incorrectly, which clearly it was, they specifically said they wanted to avoid impacting the smile. Plus the fact they effectively told me I was ridiculous for being so upset I couldn’t smile really negatively impacted me. It didn’t cure my jaw pain, I’m scared to ever do it again and I was made to feel like I was ridiculous for being so upset and asking why it spread so much, which it clearly had, as if I was making it up. But it’s immediately obvious in any photo I tried to take. I don’t appreciate anyone dismissing my experience and concerns, especially as it cost me over £300.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend more. Friendly and professional, excellent service and customer experience. The work I had done was far better than anything I’ve had done in the past. The procedures were thoroughly explained and well advised. Not the cheapest by any means but well worth the additional spend which is not actually all that much in comparison to others.

Fantastic experience: Just sat in the chair at Exeter Advanced Dentistry for two hours having root canal treatment (RCT). Can assure you that like most people when you hear the words RCT you are worried sick, you think pain and more pain. This was most definitely NOT the case, lovely greeting from the lady on reception then upstairs for the treatment with David Zillwood and his very able nurse Molly. The procedure was explained to me at the beginning, I was checked lots of times to make sure I was OK. David and Molly made the whole experience pain free and as pleasant as it possibly could be. Fantastic experience: Had an infected root canal done in Ethiopia drilled out this morning and a new one put in by the elite Dan. As it was the very back molar and difficult my own dentist could not do it. Aged 56 moving around with the military I have never come across a dentist like this. Two lots of injections and almost two hours later all I had felt were the needles...first class dentist. Twelve hours later feel a tiny bit sore but nothing really and have taken no painkillers. Everything was fully explained. Fingers crossed the infection goes.

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment today with Alex. After finishing a traumatic 16 months of dentistry elsewhere I was immediately impressed by the contrast at EAD. From my initial phone call to book an appointment the reception was friendly and professional and again when I arrived at the practice I was greeted and immediately put at ease. My examination was thorough, Alex explained everything he was going to do before he did it and explaining x rays and options during the process. He was empathetic regarding my concerns and was very positive which has given me confidence and I'm happy and looking forward to my future treatments. I would highly recommend Alex and the EAD team. 5* I've since had appointments with Karen the hygienist who was very professional and welcoming. She gave me tons of advice and my teeth had the best clean they've ever had! I've seen Gary and am mid way through Implant treatment. Gary is very easy to get on with, he told me everything he possibly could about the various options for my missing teeth. We agreed on the plan of action and I'm very impressed so far. He gave me great advice which I followed and am getting the outcomes that I wanted. Can't recommend him enough, his dental nurse and student dentist were both very positive and reassuring during the treatment. I've now seen Daniel the Endodontist who did a thorough investigation on 2 problematic teeth, 1 that seems to be affecting my left sinus and I'm booked in for a root canal in a few weeks time. He made a honest judgement on the 2nd tooth and recommended that continuing on the Implant route would be best for me. He was upfront and said he'd love to try and save the tooth but that a reroute canal would only have 50/50 chance of success which we both felt wasn't great enough. I appreciated his honesty. I can honestly say as someone who has never missed a dental appointment but always had tooth problems, I feel that finally I'm getting the very best care and Dentistry possible. I feel reassured when I contact the surgery and always greeted with a smile. All of the reception staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. Can't fault this practice in any way 10/10. Thank you.

From contacting and liaising with Kate who was a star to the dentist & all the team afterwards.
