Fantastic experience: My appointment was on time. The staff were all friendly

Fantastic experience: Very Friendly and professional. Put me at ease as previous experience in Bexleyheath area wasn’t great, all the dentists were more interested in cosmetic dentistry, and taking money for you. With one exception Hook lane surgery.

Positive experience: A pleasant check up today. Quick and simple and all future appointments set up with them very easily. Only minor negative (which I mentioned to the people at reception when I left) there was nowhere secure to lock up my bike. I ended up locking it to a broken fence which will not be possible once that is fixed!

Fantastic experience: Staff are all lovely , polite and friendly. Mill road surgery is such a lovely atmosphere.

Positive experience: Only had two appointments so far, which I thought could have been done in a single appointment. Also they take payment upfront for any future appointments or treatments, even though they could several months away. I’ll reserve judgement on actual procedures I have booked until complete…

Fantastic experience: No issues getting an appointment and on the day no waiting. Fairly lengthy treatment but done with ease and no “scary” moments given thought of dental work.

Fantastic experience: I have such a positive experience with this practice I don't enjoy going to the dentist I'm a nervous patient however my dentist omah is fabulous he does his best to relax and reassure me and it's all over before I know it. I also have had my teeth whitened with the boutique products and it's been successful!! Without (turkey teeth)!! The reception staff are all helpful and patient and the nurses and wonderful. Thank you all

Positive experience: I would say overall this is an okay dentistry. Pros - - in my experience, I have always been seen on time. We come to expect delays on the NHS these days, but this has been a welcome consistent feature. - Dr Husian Parker (now only providing private care) is a brilliantly personable dentist and is a credit to the practice. - the practice is always clean and tidy. - recently attended an appointment and although the dentist needed to smile more (ironic I know) she was thorough and seemed to genuinely care about the state of my teeth - instead of treating me like just another appointment, in and out etc. Cons - - they are pushing you more into private dentistry. With each visit you feel less welcome as an NHS patient. - when Mr Parker went private I was promised a call within 2 months to organise a check up appointment with a new dentist. No such call came. I predicted this outcome at the time and was met with defensive responses. - following on from the point above, the management appear to show no genuine care for customer service, they are not personable in the slightest and are bordering on rude. You are treated as just a number or a name on a spreadsheet. - This outlook can sometimes become contagious as on occasion the reception staff can appear disinterested and robotic in their interactions. Overall my recommendation - if you are happy to pay for private care, then sign up with Mr Parker and have your experience with the practice start and stop there. As someone who is looking to stay on the NHS I hope that the new dentist (sorry I did not pick up her name) picks up on some of his skills and personality traits.

Negative experience: Really disappointed today, went in with two damaged teeth hoping to get something sorted as one is quite bad, left with two damaged teeth -£27 and won't be seen again till February 26. Only 2 stars on this visit.

Negative experience: Wasn’t the greatest experience so far, I spoke with someone 2 weeks ago who said they would get back to me the same day to book me in after speaking to the dentist. I heard nothing so called back, tried getting through for a week and due to bad phone lines was unsuccessful so I ended up emailing. The person I was emailing then booked me in to the wrong practice in town instead of the Mill Rd surgery. They managed to squeeze me in with a dental technician when I arrived for the appointment not realising it had been booked in town but I wasn’t able to have a proper appointment with the dentist that I needed for a cracked tooth so now I have to go back again. First appointment I could be given was September. Just been one issue after another! Never had problems before but less than desirable service this time around

Fantastic experience: Brilliant and very fast service. I broke a front tooth while on holiday yesterday and called The Smile Clinic as soon as I was out of the airport at 08:30 this morning and even after a 100 mile drive, I was all sorted by 12:30!

Fantastic experience: I had a wisdom tooth extraction today. I was quite nervous but the dentist was great., He explained everything clearly to me but not too much information. I hardly felt the local anesthetic and within 1 minute it was done. I was so shocked it was not what I was expecting at all. So pleased!

Negative experience: Attention to the Management of the Smile Clinic. I've called 10 min ago and the lady on reception was really rude, interrupted me and hang off!!! And I'm the private patient!! I've called straight away one more time she hold me on the line for about another 10 min, picked up and without hello hang off again because she knew and saw that it was me calling again to Smile Clinic. How is it possible I cannot get in touch and book an appointment because of this rude lady from reception. I kindly ask the manager to give me a call back.

Fantastic experience: Two difficult extractions over the last year... top job on both. Modern surgery, friendly dentist who takes time to explain what he is doing why. Pleasant staff too... highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Was able to get a same day emergency NHS appointment for my son. He tried, but struggled to have an X-ray taken, dentist was great and very patient & understanding with him. Dentist then explained everything to me and showed me the issue with the tooth. Very happy.

Negative experience: Unable to get an appointment on NHS was told a few weeks ago that January 2025 was next appointment then when I rang back today they can not book me in for another year now as I have not been seen for 2 years so have to re register. Impossible to get NHS appointment then you are off the system in 2 years for not having appointment. Receptionist loved to keep repeating herself like reading off a script. Will have to go private elsewhere.

Negative experience: Appalled by one of your Dentists Dr Omair Mirza. All my family are registered at your clinic and we have come across Dr Omair Mirza a few times and found him to be very rude, abrupt and his attitude is absolutely unacceptable towards us. My Son Bailey, who is 9 years old, had an appointment with him this afternoon, from the moment we went into the room he didn't have a very welcoming attitude. He asked my son how many times he brushes his teeth and he answered "only once a day" Dr Omair Mirza replied you need to be doing this two times a day. This part is totally acceptable. However when it came to my son having an x-ray on his teeth, it took about 5 / 6 times. My son was trying his hardest to comply but he just couldn't do it.  For his age, this is understandable. When this happened, the Dentist's attitude got even worse and became a lot more abrupt and nasty. His response to the incident was " Well he can't do it, it is what it is, his teeth will end up falling out, which made my nine year old son feel very upset as he was trying his hardest. He then turned and looked at my wife and said " Well if he was my child, I would grab him by the legs and make him brush his teeth" To which my wife was very taken back by this comment ,as she felt her parenting skills were being faulted. To which she proceeded to challenge him saying " You can't do that". He then repeated the same comment a lot more aggressively and abruptly. My wife then continued to say that you have not given any positive comments, considering he does brush his teeth once a day and there are kids out there who don't brush them at all. My wife was so angry and my son was so upset that she left the room and requested to the receptionist that we never want to see that dentist again. I feel that Dr Omair Mirza has been very unprofessional in this matter and it worries me that this has occurred more than once for ourselves but this being the worst we have experienced. If he cannot deal with children, then he shouldn't be allowed them as his patients. Children need patience and a fun / friendly approach when dealing with medical issues.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. They had the cheek to try and change each appointment I had, one day I arrived 5 minutes late and they cancelled after I drove an hour! I went back 3 times to get my braces removed and each time they ‘forgot’ to sign it off, when they finally removed them she chipped 2 of my teeth. Extremely rude staff too

Fantastic experience: I have been with them a couple of years and honestly cannot fault them at all. I have had some treatments and they are very professional and kind. I was terrified of dentists and hands down my dentist Dr Mirza has cured my fear and anxiety before appointments we’ve gone step by step and consistently reminded me of the goals and needles well… honestly, that was my biggest fear and with that cheek technique you barely even feel it. Also my hygienist Joanne amazing and gentle. I actually look forward to continuing on making sure my teeth are taken care of. Thank you so much for everything you do.

Fantastic experience: Really pleased with the treatment my family has received at The Smile Clinic. I had avoided the dentist for over a decade and had a plethora of issues as a result. Dr Diabi and Maddison made me feel at ease and are always friendly and reassuring. The reception team are always helpful in accommodating you in an emergency too.

Fantastic experience: My family have been using this dentist for years now and they are always lovely but no nonsense which I like. They tell the kids when they are not brushing enough etc. They have always been really helpful, today my daughter needed an emergency appointment and she got a same day time in the afternoon (which is rare to find nowadays). Thank you specifically to Dr Parker and the lovely receptionist today.

Negative experience: I phoned the dentist on mill road to make appointment as I had to go to hospital with an infection in my gum needed a tooth out because I had been there took me off there list .sent me to sister dentist in town paid £50 up front arrived at the sisyer dentist not a friendly welcome . Saw the dentist only in the for half hour removed the tooth £200 laterhad to goas a private patient

Negative experience: Poor service. rang for appointment but as not been for a while am now officially off their books and no new patients being taken. Very painful loose tooth need's removal but unless you are a private patient don't want to know

Fantastic experience: Tabby was the nurse who looked after me when I had an unexpected dental extraction that took an hour. I was petrified but she looked after me, held my hand throughout and was so reassuring. As a RN I understand how the words of a nurse mean so much to a patients care and experience.

Negative experience: I live near this clinic, I called for an appointment. They booked me into their town centre “sister clinic” without informing me of this location change.. I rushed to make the appointment and had to pay for parking. I requested a full checkup due to a broken tooth, however after arriving they refused to check all my teeth and only looked at the broken tooth. - This seems more of a receptionist issue but could be the whole company. I won’t be going back because I didn’t get the service I paid for and the lack of professionalism seems like they don’t care
