I am a very nervous patient but I felt very well cared for and that Hema really understood my anxiety and worked so hard to make me feel at ease. My teeth are wonderful and clean. The surgery has great facilities and everyone is so friendly. Thank you so much!

Negative experience: Excellent dentist, rude hygienist. I recommended my friend to her (who has tooth problems) and was told the hygienist pulled disgusted faces and treated her like a leper. What’s the point of doing something about our dental hygiene if the very professionals that are supposed to care for us put us down? Deeply, deeply unprofessional and considering moving dentists too, just on principle. Edit: I am a patient of the practice but have used a different account to post this for fear that I’ll be treated differently when I come in for my next appointment (and have already paid a deposit for)

Fantastic experience: Registered as a new patient, the process was very easy and quick. The staff were very friendly and professional, and the facilities were appropriately clean and tidy. I felt very at ease, not having been to a dentist in rather a long time!!

Fantastic experience: While visiting my family here from The States, I developed a problem with an old implant that had become infected. I got a same-day appointment. The doctor examined my tooth, x-rayed it, then gave me antibiotics and an antiseptic rinse to hopefully fix the problem now, but also a reserve packet in case things flare up again while on an imminent cruise in Antartica. Wonderful service and at a reasonable price. We also had a good experience there last year at this taking our two-year-old grandchild for her first dental checkup.

Negative experience: Hygienists were nice but charging £110 for an appointment and not tell the client that it is for 30 mins only is disgraceful and not common practice. Nitpicking a bit, but my appt started late and still finished bang on 10am so I got even less value for my money. Hygienist told me part of the time goes towards their setup too? As we only had 30 minutes the job wasn't finished, so will be booking an appt with my old hygienist at half the price, who will actually clean my teeth fully.

They made my dental visit quite relaxing yet I got the most professional advice from this practice since I visited quite a few other practices before got recommended here. I would definitely follow their advice to treat my tooth problem.

Positive experience: This is a great practice and I am generally happy with them. However, they have dropped a couple of stars since my last review for the following reason. I am an extremely nervous patient and St Peters Lodge were helping me overcome my phobia. Unfortunately, Smita (who was really good with my fear) has now left and the guy I had instead seemed okay. But on my last visit, the dental nurse was putting the suction too far down my throat (making me want to gag) and was just generally a bit over zealous with it, smacking it against my teeth! As my whole fear comes from feeling like I'm going to choke/claustrophobia, this was a real issue for me and I could feel my fear flooding back. I will go back again but I did have to ask reception to make a note on my file not to have that lady again. I will see how my next visit is on whether I stay at this practice. Again though, the receptionist was lovely - they're all a real asset to this place and hope that is recognised by those higher up.

Fantastic experience: I've had two appointments here after it being quite some time since I last went to the denists. I chose this practice because of the transparency both with what needs to be done and how much it costs. The assessment was swiftly done and a potential plan laid out with costings. My first hygiene appointment was handled very professionally, I was given advice on how best to get my gums back on track and to maintain that my teeth do not get a plaque build-up. Would thoroughly recommend.
