Negative experience: The woman at reception who was big built was appallingly rude — loud, abrasive, and completely unfit for a front-desk role. Her attitude was unprofessional to the point of being offensive, and her behaviour carried clear racist undertones. She outright refused to book the appointment, which is literally her job. Someone with such hostility and lack of basic respect should not be working in a position that requires interacting with people. I wanted. Negative experience: This dentist surgery hassled me saying I didn’t pay a bill, which I had on the same day, had two fillings they both fell out next day, now they have took me off there books stating I still haven’t paid although I showed them proof, worse treatment I have had in any industry. Had to put 1 star or I couldn’t write a review. No star really. Steer clear of this dentist

Negative experience: The reception team are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the new dentist is really rude. She told us off for changing dentists and said she doesn't want to see children at the weekend. The appointment was made for me by reception and I wasn't given a choice of dentist or told that she prefers not to see children at the weekend. Therefore, I suggested she raise this with her reception team but she continued to have a go at us. Always had a good experience with other dentists there though.

Fantastic experience: I’ve always had a good experience at this practice. The receptionists are friendly, the dentists are very efficient, I’ve never encountered a high degree of pain when a procedure has been required, plus car parking has never been an issue. My dentist is extremely thorough and able to explain and advise especially well. She is receptive to any concerns I expressed and doesn’t inflict any discomfort on me.

Negative experience: Cancelled on the morning of my appointment and are very difficult to get ahold of to rebook. The online portal provides limited information and directs you to the phone line for all other enquiries. Cancellation on the morning of has happened on 2 separate occasions. On hold for over 30 minutes and decided it was faster to travel and talk to the reception in person. Once you see a dentist, they are very professional, friendly and provide a great service.

Negative experience: (Please read the full review.) Reason for one star review is simply because of the Receptionist working there. This happened just now by the way. 26th of March approximately 12:30pm. So I had received a text message telling me my scheduled appointment in early April has had to be postponed, and asked me to call the Dental clinic to reschedule. (12:47pm - Update, just got off the phone with the receptionist lmao, but will still be finishing this review.) Anyhow we called the clinic and explained the situation. The receptionist then went on to say, that it's not been cancelled, my dentist doesn't work on that day, so she just needs to put me in with another dentist. Meaning she hadn't done it yet. Meaning she forgot. Amazing. We then asked that the other dentist also be a male. The receptionist asked "why?". I told her it's for religious reasons and went on to ask why I need a reason? She responded with Oh so we can make a note of it. Load of rubbish. On their website it gives you the option to select a male or female dentist and guess what, it doesn't ask you to list a reason for your preference. I am sorry, but in a day and age where someone can say they identify as whatever they want without providing any reason as to why, I need to give a reason for my request of having a male dentist? Diabolical. Please hire a receptionist who isn't so rude and condescending in her mannerisms. I read a few reviews before writing this, and it's sad to see I'm not alone in this. Luckily I have to go to the clinic to drop something off and I'll be sure to ask for the practice manager, so I can file a complaint formally. Update: 2nd April 2025 I had a scheduled appointment today at the clinic. And to my surprise my wife was handing me the phone saying it's the Practice Manager. She saw my review of the place and it turns out my appointment today was with a female clinician. So the receptionist blatantly ignored my request, even after I gave a reason! My gosh I really hope I'm alone in such treatment. Anyway, the Practice Manager was lovely, changed my clinician to a male and booked me in for next week. I thought it was really nice and thought to update my review. I wanted to have wrote a separate review but I don't think it's possible. But yes, I was half asleep when I took the phone call, so wasn't able to thank the practice manager properly. Hence this update. As much as I really do appreciate the practice manager stepping in and sorting everything out, she shouldn't have had to. And it also does not change the fact that our first point of contact with the clinic is the same receptionist. Service today was definitely 5 star and had it been done due to an error or a mistake, I'd be happy. But it wasn't down to a mistake, it was because the current receptionist doesn't care about patients. Before this update, my review had one star. If all goes well at my next appointment I'll change my rating. How much I change really does depend on how it goes.

Negative experience: I’m appalled at the receptionist cancelling my appointments and telling me I’ll have to apply as a new patient when they already have my records. I am an NHS patient and am disgusted that I’ve been asked to pay £90 for checking my teeth. Last time I came I had to have a route canal and a filling in the left both were left as the dentist had to go in leave. I’ve made several appointments only to have the receptionist put the phone down on me rudely. I’ve been trying to make an appointment for several months only to be treated very rudely by the receptionist telling my that I’d have to go and make an appointment in April which I did and she cancelled. Recently I have had four appointments cancelled down to her negligence. All I wanted was an appointment with last dentist I saw or any to follow up my progress. I wasn’t given an antibiotic either for the pain. I hope and pray that all the bad apples are fired from the surgery especially the receptionist. It’s the only surgery close to my home. I’m also disabled and can’t travel far. January February March April. I’ve made so many appointments only to be told that they’ve cancelled my appointment. I hope they go through the same treatment or worse. Especially in our holy month of Ramadhan she put the phone down on me while I was waiting hours for anyone to pick up wasting my bill. Totally disgusted by the receptionist who is doing a good job of loosing patients for the practice! Disgusting!!! From a long standing patient!

Negative experience: Moved here as I needed an NHS dentist. I can never get through to them on the phone! I've sent 3 emails, spacing over 3 months and I've not had a single reply! The dentist I did see was lovely. However, good luck trying to get through to them to actually get an appointment. I've now been trying to retrieve my dental records from them for 3 months so I can move to another practice, but I have had no luck! If it wasn't for the fact I'm not local I would drive down to get them - but there is also nowhere to park when you get there either

Negative experience: This is a scam they take on new nhs patients, but when you have an emergency they won't see you as an nhs patient. They will only see you as a private patient so you have to pay their extortionate private costs. They had someone available to see me but I could only see them if I paid up front. Do not bother registering with this surgery. They claim to open at 8am but don't try calling at that time as you just get a message saying the Surgery is closed.

Negative experience: The receptionist doesn't seem to care about your presence. She registers your name as soon as you arrive and is perfectly fine with you sitting there, showing little regard for your appointment time. I was seen by the hygienist 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Moreover, the hygienist was rude and questioned me in a manner reminiscent of a crime investigator interrogating a suspect on a TV show.

And when I asked for her name to make a complaint she outright refused and tried to switch it around on me, saying I was shouting and threatening. service was a zero poor Surgery be warned I have read the other reviews it seems to be the reciptionist.

Negative experience: A very good dentist but shocking receptionist and administrative skills. I called to rearrange an appointment for my mother and myself, to get a text the next day asking me to call if I wasn't able to make the original appointment. I called again to say I'd rearranged this appointment to find out it hadn't been changed. The lady I spoke with changed it and assured me it was made for a Saturday at 3pm. I then received a text the next day saying I'd missed my original appointment and to call again to re-arrange. I called back to say I'd had the Saturday appointment and wasn't sure why I received the text - to find I'd not been booked in again - but this lady explained if I show up at 2:45 she would be sure I was seen for all the hassle I'd been through. The Friday before my appointment, I received a call to confirm I would be attending my appointment for 1:30pm that Saturday! When I explained it might be difficult for me to make that time the lady asked I just give them suitable notice if I couldn't make it, because the 2:45pm slot was no longer available. I called an hour and a half before on the Saturday to state I couldn't make it, just to have a rude lady tell me off for how busy they can get on Saturdays and how it was my fault a man who'd just called in with pain, couldn't get booked in that day! SHOCKING customer service and an absolute nightmare to book in.

Fantastic experience: Luke is a top dentist, he was so considerate so polite, so calming. Him and his team are amazing. I can not think Luke enough, I had a year and a half wait at other highly reccomended dentists, Luke listened to me so carefully and made all the right steps to getting me the help I was desperate for, and within weeks I am finally feeling back to normal. It makes such a difference if you have a good dentist and believe me Luke is one of the best, it is not just a job for him, he really does make a difference.

Negative experience: Got given an appointment for 6 weeks. Once the day had come a few hours before my booking it had been rescheduled without permission to an earlier time which I couldn’t attend. I’d come to work early just to leave early and get to that appointment. Now it’s rebooked for another 5 weeks time, sick show

Fantastic experience: There was no waiting around when I arrived, I spoke to the receptionist, sat down and was almost immediately called up for my appointment. My dentist was friendly and non-judgemental, very quick and clear on communication. Received a prescription and then was able to book my next appointment at the reception. I've had some bad dentist experiences in the past so this was definitely a vast improvement.

Fantastic experience: Friendly practice. Dr Alexandra is excellent, she has a fantastic patient manner - explaining her clinical findings to me clearly after performing a thorough assessment. Further to this, she outlined the proposed management options in a way that was easy to understand. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say a massive ThankYOU to Dr Levi and the amazing lady (receptionist). You both were so good with my son who is Autistic, the lively lady calmed Idris down when he was screaming in discomfort. Dr levi reffered by son, before i even left the room, he was very efficient, and such a kind man. My son was seen within 2 days! Thank you!
