Fantastic experience: I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Nicola Robertson! She was warm, attentive, and delivered excellent results - but most importantly, she made me feel completely at ease. If more dentists were like her, I’m sure far more people would be happy to visit the dentist. The appointment was for a specific issue, which she handled with great care, but she also took the time to explain what might be causing another problem with my teeth. She went beyond just treating the immediate concern - offering advice that many dentists would simply overlook. It wasn’t just about fixing something, she helped me understand how to prevent issues in the future.

Negative experience: I made an appointment for a consultation for lingual braces because it says on their website that they do lingual braces. In my initial message to them I made it clear that I wanted lingual braces. I paid for the appointment and went to the appointment; however, I was offered a treatment for traditional braces. I followed this up with them, only to be told that they are updating their website because they don't do lingual braces any more. This is false advertising and they should have told me, before I paid for the appointment and went to it, that they didn't do them.

Fantastic experience: I have been with this practice for a number of years now. The staff are always polite and understanding. Procedures are always explained to you and the pricing is competitive. The practice is clean and spacious. I would thoroughly recommend Devonshire Dental Practice.

Negative experience: Had an emergency boiler breakdown and they still charge you £30 to cancel despite the fact I was going to spend £400 on cosmetics. I won't be using their services.

Fantastic experience: I have recently had a few appointments here with Markos and I found the experience to be pleasant and reassuring. Being somewhat of a nervous patient myself, Markos and the staff were very accommodating and supportive.

Fantastic experience: Me and my Girlfriend attended multiple appointments here with Markos, he was professional and informative and made my partner very comfortable throughout the procedure. I can’t praise the practice and the staff highly enough & would recommend the practice to anyone with a phobia as the customer care and attention is flawless. 5⭐️

Negative experience: They might be good dentists but they are also scammers. I cancelled a visit well within the cancellation period. I was asked to come in and sign a form to get a refund and that it would take up to 6 weeks to process. That was in June. I have not had a refund and when I tried contacting them over 15 times over email and phone, I get ignored and told that I will be called back, only to never hear from them again. It's not a big sum of money but it's the principle of not scamming people that should count! I would be wary of paying anything in advance!

Fantastic experience: I'm not one for reviews but I feel like I have to write one after my experience today. Amazing practice all round. From the cleanliness aspect to the friendly, helpful nature of all the staff, this is easily the best practice I've ever been to. I'm 30 years old so have been to a few dentists over the years and like most, had a bit of a fear of the dentist but I can safely say after today, that fear has been reduced massively due to probably the best dentist I've ever had. I got 2 fillings today by Markos and his friendly, relaxed nature helped put me at ease to start with, talking me through the procedure, the condition of my teeth and also general chit chat. Getting numbed by the needle prior to any work is usually one of the worst things for me and even with 2 injections, I didn't feel anything, and when I could feel a little bit of the cold on the area that was getting a filling, that's when I got a 2nd stronger injection and then couldn't feel any of the work being done. Genuinely the best experience I've had getting dental work done due to feeling absolutely no pain and fair play to Markos and the girls helping him. If only most other dentists/practices were like this, maybe the fear people have with dentists would be less of a thing!

Fantastic experience: Fabulous practice would highly recommend. I’d always had anxiety around going to the dentist, but I have been so well taken care of here. I have felt so calm on every visit and I’m now wondering why I was so worried about the Dentist. My first appointment was with Nicola Robertson, she made me feel so at ease, no judgement at all, she just really made it her job to figure out what I needed to get back on track. I felt very safe and comfortable and genuinely had no anxiety, this was down to Nicola, she was so kind and understanding and just made me feel at ease. Since my first appointment with Nicola I’ve since had two fillings - also completed by Nicola, the filled teeth now look like teeth again - the process was very straightforward and again I had no anxiety flair ups! I have also had an appointment with the practice hygienist, Thomas Fenion, again Thomas displayed all of the same qualities as Nicola. I had quite a bit of plaque build up, but Thomas was very kind and the procedure took less that an hour. I will be going back for teeth whitening tomorrow and I have also made appointments in advance, something I’ve never done before - in the past I would only ever go to the dentist if I really had to! But not now, I really think I am over my fear. All of the staff have been very friendly and welcoming. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I have been with Devonshire Dental Care (DDC) for over twenty years. I am a 65 year old male and in July 2023, I suddenly developed TMJ/TMD issues. After a few weeks of hoping that the problem would resolve itself, I contacted DDC in August as I was incurring significant and constant discomfort. My dentist, Nicola Robertson was unavailable and I was seen by Myles Gillespie. As I was going on an extended holiday, Myles immediately arranged a temporary fix, which did help to alleviate the symptoms. The prompt service and attention given by Myles was first class. On returning from holiday I arranged a further consultation and was seen by Nicola Robertson. On examining me and reading my notes, Nicola immediately identified the problem, the cause and a way forward. A programme of treatment was put in place that would culminate in the provision and use of a hard acrylic splint. The procedure undertaken by Nicola involved five consultations, during which, a dental scan was taken, along with the fitting and adjustments of the splint. I now wear the splint overnight and during the day where practicable. Nicola’s patience and attention to detail was exemplary. Her skill, professionalism, support and patient interaction was excellent. Combined, these attributes ensured a good outcome to my condition, to the extent that I no longer suffer debilitating pain and discomfort. My jaw and teeth are now aligned into a more comfortable position and, progress continues. Throughout, I had complete confidence in Nicola and, I am very grateful for the care given. Whilst I specifically mention Myles Gillespie and Nicola Robertson, it would be churlish not to note that everyone at DDC is pleasant, professional and always welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Julia is the first and only dentist I've had since coming to Glasgow. Despite changing several dentists over time, based on my experience, Julia is truly amazing! The dental clinic is the place I swear never to return each time, but I end up coming back in tears. Julia not only comforts me like an old sister but also objectively assesses my teeth. Her skills are exceptional!

Fantastic experience: Devonshire Dental Care provides the best dental care that I have ever experienced. I recently developed a bad toothache and after having no sleep overnight, I called them as soon as they opened and not only did Nicola and her team fit me in but also relieved my pain. Nicola also went above and beyond in my opinion when she called me later in the day to see if I was doing ok and to let me know I should come back in if I had any problems. Fantastic experience: I went to Devonshire on a friend’s recommendation after receiving a treatment plan from another dentist indicating I need 4 fillings. Nicola made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in. Her professionalism is complemented by her friendly demeanour. Nicola advised I only needed 1 filling rather than 4. The filling was done perfectly and looks completely natural. My hygiene appointment was quick and thorough. The staff are really friendly and professional. Having trust in your dentist is so important and seeing Nicola has made me feel glad I came to the practice. I’ll be a returning patient and will recommend to all friends and colleagues.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about Devonshire dental care and Mr Alan Rennie. Everyone there has a very relaxed and friendly approach, Alan talks you through your treatment options thoroughly and, after seeing him for 10 years I can confirm his work is to a very high stardard. I have been terrified of the dentist my whole life but going to Alan Rennie has really helped calm me down to the point going is much easier.

Fantastic experience: I went to a previous dentist before I went to see Miles at Devonshire Dental Care, the other dentist wanted to pull my wisdom tooth out and his communication was terrible. Then I went to see Miles and he informed me that he could save my wisdom tooth if he could do a successful wisdom tooth root canal. Miles is an excellent dentist. He did an impossible wisdom root canal for me and was brilliant throughout the process. He saved my tooth. He went through a proper consultation with me before doing the root canal on my WISDOM tooth and after he did the root canal he went through all the details and explaining how complex it was. His communication is top notch. If you need a difficult root canal done Miles is the guy I would highly recommend him. My root canal was very awkward and Miles was so calm and patient throughout the process I didn't even notice the complexities of it.

The practice is so friendly and welcoming. Alan is very calm and reassuring with my girls. This isn't our main practice because it is a distance from our home.(unfortunately)

Fantastic experience: Friendly receptionist and DSA, comfortable waiting room (though needing redecorated), up to date equipment. Nicola Robertson is an excellent dentist. Downside is that I find it expensive, though do appreciate rising costs for the practice. I would like my treatment costed as I don’t really know what I’m paying for.

Fantastic experience: I was sent to Devonshire Dental Care for a CT scan, as part of ongoing dental treatment. A separate issue arose at the appointment, and Allan Rennie stepped in and dealt with it, calmly and with care, and instantly made a huge difference to how things were progressing. He went above and beyond, and I’m very grateful to him. I have no doubt that any patient will be in good hands.

I have been going to Allan Rennie since arriving in Glasgow 8 years ago and have nothing but praise for his assessments, recommendations and capabilities. Even the most complex procedures have been done without pain and with wonderful results. And Allan is not shy to say when something isn't necessary or unlikely to produce good result. I highly recommend Allan and the team that includes dental hygiene.

Fantastic experience: Just had a tooth implant which went perfectly well. Really delighted. Liam is very talented and professional - he went out of his way to make sure all of my concerns were answered. Staff are lovely. I walked away from another surgery because of the cheeky tone of the reception staff. These things matter, especially when you are feeling vulnerable and about to go through quite a serious surgery. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I am a regular patient and always find the service friendly and professional at reception and the treatment from my dentist Alan and hygienist Kirsty is first class. I was there today and experienced a new style of hygiene cleaning and polishing. This involves a bit more water than previously but a much smoother all round treatment, much quieter and altogether a more 'pleasant' visit!

Fantastic experience: I had braces top and bottom to straighten my teeth. I was going to only do the top, but I am so pleased Alan suggested the bottom as well as top, for a small additional cost. COVID caused my experience to be longer than normal, but throughout Alan and the team were outstanding and Alan always so calm. I am absolutely delighted with the result and nothing was ever any bother. Alan had warned me that there might be a tiny gap and there was, but I have to say I was absolutely over the moon with how he resolved it - such attention to detail. I think my teeth look perfect and I never really expected they would look so good, so definitely exceeded my expectations. There was no hard sell just very honest advice about the process and what I could expect. I have also switched to Alan as my normal dentist and again Alan, Natalie, Charlotte and the team have been brilliant. I also see Laura as my hygienist and think she is the most thorough hygienist I have seen in any dental surgery - my teeth look great when I see her each quarter and she gives really good advice on care in between visits.

Fantastic experience: We had been with Gerald for years. We moved down south last year and really wish we could take him with us. Gerry was an amazing dentist, very calm, knowledgeable & very patience. BBC 2 was always playing in the background, which was brilliant. He was always numbed the gum first before giving the injections. Our daughter loved him too. The nurses & the receptionists were also amazing! Highly recommend this place.

I had top, bottom braces & two teeth removed at a very reasonable price compared to some other orthodontics that I had consultations at. Allan & his team are very professional & friendly. I work abroad often, but they happily worked around it for me ensuring that I will have the same result even if i could not make all the scheduled appointments. I have to say that the practice was amazing, Allan and all the staff were so attentive and offered a first class service throughout the treatment at every appointment and also through communicating through covid. The braces took llonger than expected due to the pandemic and travelling, but they kept me informed about the situation and appointments.

Fantastic experience: Finished my treatment a few weeks ago and I'm totally over the moon with the end result, I've always been very conscious about my smile, but thanks to Allan and the team at Devonshire dental care, I've got a smile which in others I've always admired, I'm 56, and much to the amusement of my work colleagues and friends they all said"aren't you too old to have brace's fitted", you're never too old for anything in life and I only wished I'd done it years ago. I got top and bottom braces fitted, with little problems, just the odd slip of the trace, due to a missing tooth at the back, which was speedily rectified with the usuall professional care I'd come to expect. I feel that I have been offered a variety of treatment options and have been very involved in decision making for my care. It is straightforward to make appointments and when I had to attend as an emergency my dentist was very accommodating. I would recommend this practice to family and friends.

Fantastic experience: Came here after 2 dentists could not fix my tooth. Alan explained everything very clearly and then did a great job fixing the problem. Since then the hygienists have finally taught me how to look after my gums properly and I can now eat with more comfort than I have for years. However, the best bit about Devonshire Dental has got to be the waiting room. Antime you are feeling stressed just pop in for a wee snooze.
