Fantastic experience: Hi just had my wisdom tooth taken out just want to say dentist dr Faizal was amazing. I don’t like injections but didn’t feel any pain and he was constantly checking if I was ok and nurse Michele was also brilliant. They both went through all the procedure and what to expect after.

Fantastic experience: Dr Huzefa Shamsuddin was absolutely brilliant! He explains everything clearly and is a very skilled dentist. He straightened two of my teeth using a special composite and saved me spending a small fortune. I finally can smile with confidence again. He is an asset to the clinic and can recommend highly. Negative experience: I had a very distressing experience with this dental practice when trying to book an appointment for my autistic daughter, who was in pain. I was told her file had been closed because we previously cancelled an appointment — despite giving them plenty of notice. I tried to explain that my daughter has autism and severe social anxiety, and on the day of the cancelled appointment, she was overwhelmed and unable to attend. Both receptionists Sandy and Megan were incredibly rude, showed no empathy or willingness to understand, and hung up the phone mid-conversation while I was explaining the situation. I called back several times — the calls were either ignored or immediately disconnected. When I finally got through after withholding my number, they claimed the phone was "acting up." I then spoke to the manager who repeated the same excuse, despite us being on the phone for nine uninterrupted minutes. I honestly can't believe that in this day and age, we still have practices like this that show no understanding or compassion toward patients with disabilities. This dental practice is not disability-friendly, and I strongly urge them to undergo proper training on how to treat vulnerable patients and their families with dignity and respect.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to the Broadfield SDG dentist for the extraction of a broken tooth which made eating almost impossible. I rang and was able to get an appointment the same day after they had a cancellation. It seemed a well run professional surgery. Dr Faizal performed the extraction, assisted by nurse Anandhy. While no extraction is going to be pleasant it was performed very smoothly and professionally with minimum discomfort.

Fantastic experience: I am normally a nervous patient when it comes to the dentist but Faizal and Corinne plus the reception staff were all amazing and made me feel at ease. It’s the calmest I’ve been at the dentist in a very long time and it was all thanks to them.

Fantastic experience: Today I had a wisdom tooth extracted. Dental Nurse Corinne had the most wonderful bedside manner. This was my first ever bit of dental work and I was very nervous. She talked me through everything, reassured me and put me at ease with general chitchat. Faizal was my dentist and he was also very kind and thorough, explaining everything as worked. The anaesthetic injections were not at all painful and the discomfort levels were really quite tolerable throughout. The reception staff were also very courteous and helpful.

Fantastic experience: After years of burying my head in the sand and neglecting my teeth due to an extreme dental phobia caused by a horrific dentist years ago, it finally got to the point this year where I couldn’t carry on doing nothing about my teeth due to pain and how they look. I am so so so glad I built up the courage to go to this dentist, as for the first time ever this week I was able to have dental treatment without needing conscious sedation or sedatives, thanks to the amazing staff. Since I came in a few weeks ago with an emergency appointment, Dr Foetini has gone above and beyond to help me sort my teeth out and overcome my fear. I have had previous experiences with local anaesthetic not working at all, she listened to my concerns and her technique meant I was fully numbed even for hours after the appointment. She has given me the faith to believe I can go to the dentist and be treated without any pain, and whilst it will take me a while to feel relaxed at the dentist she has certainly helped me make the biggest step in overcoming my fear, and sort my teeth out. All of the staff have been amazing at every one of my 3 visits, from the reception team to the dental assistants. Thoroughly recommend this place to anyone who has a fear of the dentist.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had an emergency dental appointment on 02/05 due to a severely decayed tooth that was causing her a great deal of pain. From the moment we arrived, the care and compassion shown by the team were outstanding. Dentist Foteini was incredibly kind and gentle with my daughter, taking the time to explain everything in a calm and reassuring way. Her nurse, Anandhu, was also fantastic—very calming and even great with my little boy who was with us. Although the extraction couldn’t be completed that day and my daughter was prescribed antibiotics, we returned on 12/05 and were seen by her regular dentist, Maria. Once again, the care was excellent. Maria and nurse Yllka were so supportive and made the entire tooth extraction experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. I truly can’t thank them enough for making my daughter feel safe and comfortable throughout. Overall, despite it being a dental emergency, the staff turned it into a really positive experience. A huge thank you to everyone involved—especially given that most people dread going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: From start to finish these people have been absolutely fabulous. All the staff are friendly, professional, reassuring, and really welcoming. I had to have two teeth extracted, quite a major deal and I felt nothing once they had anaesthetised them. Extremely grateful to have this dentist available for my family. Fantastic experience: I had to have 2 teeth extracted (on 2 separate visits) and my dentist referred me to Sussex Dental Group. I am an extremely nervous patient. Until I went to my new dentist in March this year, it had been 10+ years before that I had previously visited one, because I was that scared. My recent experiences at Sussex Dental Group have given me a fresh outlook on dentistry and if you are a nervous patient and need an expert extraction then I would highly recommend Dentist Faizal and Nurse Corinne there. From start to finish they were very reassuring and explained everything fully, answering any questions I had about the extractions. I cannot recommend them highly enough for any extraction that you need. When I was in the chair I was given plenty of time for the numbing injections to work fully before any work started. Once it was time to start Corinne was kind enough to put her hand on my shoulder during the work and this somehow made me feel more reassured than had her hand not been there. If it was getting a bit too much or I needed a moment I could raise my hand and the work immediately stopped to find out what I needed. All in all I would not hesitate to go back again, to them both, should I need any further extractions in the future. Thank you both for your patience and consideration during my 2 visits and restoring my confidence a whole lot in dentistry than I had before I visited you.

The reception team at the front desk are very helpful, patient and always smiling, my dentist Dr Anwar and dental nurse Arzu are always very cheerful and amazingly good at what they do, my hygienist Helen is brilliant and again amazingly good at what she does, the hygiene nurse is also great. I’ve been part of this practice for around 10yrs and I personally don’t think you make any improvements as it’s the perfect match for me and my family. I would personally recommend this practice to anyone looking for dental care. Many thanks to the whole team and I look forward to being with you for many more years.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter to get a filling for her tooth here today where her dentist was Dr. Fetini and her nurse was Nurse Arzu. They were incredibly kind and made sure my daughter was comfortable while they filled her tooth. They were very patient with my daughter but also quick with the procedure, my daughter is very happy with the result and so am I!

Compassionate Jane, on reception who went the extra mile to find me an early appointment, Corinne the nurse who knew exactly what to say and do to calm my nerves and ensure I was comfortable, and the star of the show, the calm and reassuring dental magician, Faizal, who extracted my infected tooth as only someone with a lot of experience and genuine care for their patients could.  I wasted so much energy worrying about this procedure in advance. I hope I can save you the bother. These guys are first-rate.

Fantastic experience: Before i started my treatment with Sussex dental group. I was an extremely nervous patient. So much so the phobia ess so bad at one point I had to have a general anesthetic just for fillings. They are the most kind, caring, sympathetic dental practice I've ever come across, and I've tried many over the years . The reception yeam will always call or text to remind you a few days before your appointment As soon as you arrive your greeted with a warm friendly reception team Then called for by a warm smiling dental nurse to take you to your dentist. I personally see Dr Huzefa, who always seems genuinely pleased to see you. He took his time to explain my treatment plan, what needed doing and why. Checks anesthetic is working well before starting treatment. And always kindly says. Any pain just raise your hand. Since I have started my treatment with Sussex dental group, I've had an extraction. Which was preformed by another Dentist at the practice. Who again was so kind gentle and patience of a saint. I felt no pain at all. It was so quick to remove. And a broken double tooth which I thought would be hard to remove he did in minutes. All with local anesthetic. Dr Hazefa has done root canal and fitted me with dentures to fill the gaps. He has also just fitted a crown too for me. All using local anesthetic. I've gone from a person who was so embarrassed to smile, and would cover my mouth. I'm now able to smile with confidence. (Ive attached a phot please bear in mind I had gaps in the front and I'm in my 60"s) you may not think there perfect. But I'm over the moon with the finished look. Anybody thinking of registering with this practice. Should jump at the privilege to be one of there patients, I can't thank them enough for everything they've done for me. They have restored my faith in modern dentistry.....thank you from a very grateful patient for everything!!!

Fantastic experience: I came in for a filling yesterday and was treated by Dr Lakis and Michelle, they are both so kind, friendly and professional, I used to be scared of the dentist but they both put me at ease and I felt comfortable throughout the whole procedure.
