She explains everything so well, is very kind, gentle and understanding, I couldn't ask for a better dentist. All the staff at East Mews are very helpful and nice. I've been registered with them for over 35 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else.

I had a large filling replaced (after I broke a tooth) with Ruth and the experience was completely pain free during and after. Very pleased with the result, feels and looks great. Thank you Ruth and also your nurse Nidina as she was lovely too. Also impressed with all the forms and appointments that can be done online, and the reminders, really efficient and easy.

Everyone you interact with from the moment you arrive is welcoming, friendly and professional. I had an emergency appointment with Ruth today to fix a lost filling. We also discussed future plans with regards to this particularly troublesome molar. I have no doubt at all that Ruth always has my best interests at heart and I trust her totally with the dental advice she provides.

Positive experience: Tessa is an amazing dentist and I would highly recommend her! The only downside is recently the receptionists, a couple of times I’ve had my appointments cancelled and had to cancel it myself on my online account because it was still showing as an appointment, then when I make a complaint it looks like it’s me on the system cancelling appointments. When trying to re book there is very limited availability and I’m always told the diary is very busy when I try and call to book an appointment or when I try and book after an appointment in person at the desk. I was even told once, there was limited availability in the summer holidays due to the need to get children’s appointments done….this isn’t really ideal. It’s small things which let this dental practice down which is frustrating when a long term full paying patient. They had an amazing receptionist for years, I think she may have retired sadly because she was super and I never used to have trouble booking appointments with her around

I started going to East mews in 2018 and when I registered I informed receptionist Lucie that I was a nervous patient due to a horrible past experience with a dentist when I was younger. Lucie was really kind, thoughtful and reassuring and registered me with a dentist who she said looks after nervous patients. I am registered with Sam and would highly recommend her, she is so professional, caring and calm with me. She is aware that I am anxious and takes everything at my pace. I have also seen other dentists at the practice and have found all of them to be so professional and calm. The dentists, dental nurses, Hygienist (Carly) and reception staff at East mews are exceptional and I would highly recommend East Mews to anybody.

Fantastic experience: Both Hygienist (Kozue Miura-Giordano) and Dentist (Dr. Tessa Ferguson) where excellent. They both showed such attention to details. Money well spent.

My Dentist, Tessa, gave clear advice throughout and her treatment was very good. Tessa was kind and caring at all times with plenty of explanation for me. I felt very well looked after.

I have a historically bad experience of dentists but coming here has really settled me to the point where I actually enjoy coming to the dentist now. All of the staff are so pleasant and friendly and pay attention to small details making the experience really personable. I always feel listened to and reassured by Ruth (which if you’re a bit scared of these types of things is really key to getting you through the door, let alone treatment!) and I would recommend to anyone seeking a dentist.

When Tessa joined the practise she listened and spent time supporting me with my worries and I now do not dread going to the dentist! She is amazing with our children. Fantastic experience: I can't write highly enough of my 3 experiences at East Mews, in fact I recommend them every chance I get on local FB pages. I really wish I'd gone here first, but it was a similar recommendation I took after having a traumatic and very expensive experience at another local dentists, I wasted a lot of money there. The treatment here is a world away from that, Dr Bentley at East Mews did a difficult, deep back tooth filling and it's holding up very well and two hygienists have been very good. I've already made two further appointments for 2025, one with the same dentist and one with a hygienist and I don't dread them one bit.
