Fantastic experience: Outstanding service. Our 1 year-old daughter had a fall at nursery today and we needed an emergency dentist to check if there was any damage. We wasn't getting a response from our own dentist so we called Elmet Dental Care. The friendly staff member on the phone told us to come down and one of the dentists would free themselves up for us. We saw Stewart after waiting only a few minutes who gave us and our daughter an exceptional service. He was friendly and understood that our toddler may have found the situation stressful and made everything as easy as possible for her. We are so grateful for Elmet Dental Care and their friendly and welcoming service.

Fantastic experience: I cant thank Elmet Dental care enough for their friendly and efficient service, i struggle with anxiety so going to the dentist is a trigger for me, i needed root canal to save a tooth at the front and from the beginning i was warmly welcomed, made to feel comfortable and given the best treatment, Vladimir is amazing, really felt like i was in great hands, absolutely no pain and now i feel more confident again. I go to Natalie for my treatment, I have gone from shaking head to toe and been terrified of going to the dentist to been a lot more calm and not anxious before my appointments, everything gets explained really well so there’s no wondering what your actually having done or expenses that you don’t understand. Sally is also really lovely, one of my fears was always the fluids going down my throat and feeling like I can’t breathe, never had an issue here with that at all. Overall the best dentist practice I have used. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Been going to Elmet Dental for a while now and its always relaxed and very professional. Ive had 2 crowns put in as one of my molars broke off and lost a tooth at the front. Been very concious and parniod about my appearance and wouldnt even smile in pictures. Also had my front teeth filled as they were chipped. Had problems with overbiting and this has also been addressed. Got to say Kirsty has done a fantastic job and so proud to smile again. I cannot thank them enough. She took great care making sure my teeth are ok and been very professional. Anyone wanting to join dentist in the area that cares and provides a very professional service. Pop in and say hello sure they will help, like they help me. Thank you once again. So pleased.

Fantastic experience: Being new to area I hadnt got round to registring with a new dentist before needing to see one! I chipped a tooth and phoned the practice to enquire about becoming a new patient. The process was quick and easy and they managed to see me same day for emergency treatment. Booked me an appointment to complete works and see hygienist. Very friendly and welcoming and service fantastic. Being new to the area I was nervous but this disappeared as soon as I entered the practice.

Fantastic experience: Visit Abi regularly for routine hygiene. Always pleasant and professional and does an excellent job. No toe clenching required. Reception always polite and friendly. They will call yp to confirm visits before the day and will offer cancellations when available. No complaints.

Fantastic experience: Toothache because of an abcess meant 2 appointments and 2 antibiotics. I'm part of the Elmet Dental Care Scheme so getting an appointment was easy. Both times greeted by smiling professionals and handled with care. The extraction came next - again smiling (but concerned) reception and a very careful dentist. Checked the anaesthetic had taken - tested to see I was numb - took the tooth out (rather bad sound effects, and seemed a long time) and washed the gap out. Gave me several wads of cotton wool to stop the bleeding and an information notice as to how to care for the 'gap'. A good experience - one I wasn't looking forward to - but it went well in the end. Thanks to Natalie and Sal for taking care of me

All my fears left me when I was introduced to Taj, who took all my fears away, now several weeks later I have a smile to be proud of. The dentist I've had throughout my treatments Natalie Thorn & her assistants are clearly top professionals working with speed and laser precision. Glad I have this dentist on my doorstep.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to this practice was on Monday January 6. I live 40 miles away, but chose this practice as my former local dentist, Natalie Thom, is now working for Elmet Dental Care. It was well worth the long drive to be treated by her again. I developed a fear of dental procedures 8 years ago and was assigned to Natalie for treatment. I couldn't believe how fantastic she was at making me feel calm and in safe hands. The dental work she has done for me in the past has stood the test of time and I am so grateful to her. In addition, I found all of the staff very friendly and welcoming. Fantastic experience: I have been a dental patient at this practice for 38 years, so have seen many changes. I have never had any cause to complain and that is still the case. Always very friendly and helpful and care about their patients. Dreading going to the dentist is a thing of the past, with their up to date equipment and caring approach. I had a broken tooth over the weekend. By Monday lunchtime, Kirsty had fixed it for me. From the helpful receptionist, the dental nurse and Kirsty, thankyou for your care and support.

Fantastic experience: I attended a routine dental check up a few weeks ago and my dentist Kirsty noticed a red mark on the foot of my mouth. She recommended a biopsy check asap. I contacted my GP and within days I was booked in for a biopsy at hospital. The result was Benign. This was excellent news and only reinforces the importance of regular dental checks. It could have been cancer and I hadn’t noticed it previously so thanks to Kirsty it was dealt with speedily. My thanks to Elmet Dental Care for providing an excellent service.

Fantastic experience: Bothered by an increasingly painful troublesome molar on a Friday, Jess the receptionist fitted me in to see the dentist Natasha that same day so I wouldn’t have to suffer over the weekend. Natasha quickly saw the problem & I agreed that she should extract the tooth. (It was on borrowed time anyway). It was all over in a jiffy and they were amused when I asked,(as best I could through a numbed mouth) “is that it?” I couldn’t believe it was over so quickly ! No after effects either. Very impressed with Jess, Natasha & supporting nurse (sorry I didn’t catch her name).

Fantastic experience: Really quick to react and treat an abscess above my sons front tooth, even when contacting on a bank holiday. Consultation next day to confirm treatment required and then a course of antibiotics to treat the infection for a week. Appointment to remove the tooth, which was damaged some years earlier, when infection had cleared. The staff were all fantastic with my son and very reassuring. We’ve been patients now for over 3 years and visits are never a concern for either of my children which is really important to me. Excellent service when I call and visit and although it would be great if dentistry was free for children, I’m comfortable with what we pay for my son now that he has turned 7. My daughter remains free until that age. Thank you to all the staff and in particular to Julian Beamish who is our dentist.

We've been coming to this practice for years and have only been seeing Mr.Beamish really since covid/ when Mr.Britton retired , but he's always really pleasant and very gentle .

I use to be very nervous about going and hated being in the dentist chair but I can honestly say I am no longer nervous about going and the care and treatment I have received is outstanding!!! I was recommended to go there by a friend when I moved to the area and would do the same to anyone looking for a dentist!!

Abigail is lovely, enthusiastic about her job and does a thorough job of cleaning my teeth, including using orange flavour polish because I mentioned once I prefer it. Julian is a calm, friendly and very gentle dentist. Julian did a filling for me last year and I didn’t feel a thing! I highly recommend this team!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here since I was at school despite leaving the village many years ago. On every visit the treatment from Julian is excellent. He takes his time and is very reassuring. He is backed up by a very professional team. The receptionists are very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. This is a 5 star outfit.

Fantastic experience: I have been a client at Elmet Dental Care for a few years and have always found Julian an extremely professional dentist and Abigail a very competent hygienist. The rest of the team are friendly and helpful. The practice always keeps up to date with treatments and new products. A recent refurbishment has also enhanced the exterior and interior. Dentists are not everyone’s favourite places but the team make it an enjoyable experience.

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for 18 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. I'm a nervous dental patient but everytime I attend they are fabulous. I'm Treated like a Queen. Patient and kind to me and most of all gentle. All the dentists are great. The receptionists are great and always accommodate me very quickly when I've a dental emergency. Definitely worth a 5 star review.

Fantastic experience: I moved to the Sherburn area from the north west almost 3 years ago and obviously needed a new dentist. During this time I’ve never failed to be impressed by the professionalism and kindness shown by all the members of staff that I’ve met so far at EDC. I’ve recently completed some dental implant work which by its very nature is quite intensive and prolonged but, at all stages, the treatment and care given by Dr Gill, ‘Tarj’, and her wonderful team, has been exemplary (and I’m delighted with the result!) I’ve spent a lifetime working in the medical profession and in my opinion the team at EDC are up there with the best.

Fantastic experience: I had to have 2 front teeth taken out at the front of my mouth because of a cist below them. I was advised the best solution was to have an implant. This entailed wearing a denture of almost a year as the work was done on my mouth. The main work of implanting the post took two and a half hours but was done in a very careful way, ensuring all the time that I was not feeling pain. Later after this post had become covered naturally with bone another small cut was made to insert the final head on the post, A few weeks later after the impression for my new teeth were taken the final teeth were inserted quite painlessly. This is not the cheapest option but the final outcome is worth it. I now have teeth which look just right and feel like my own. I feel it has been worth every penny. The team couldn't have been kinder or more capable. They were able to help me adjust to each stage. Thanks to all the team who were involved.

Fantastic experience: Dreading having a tooth out, I turned up. Not my usual chirpy self. Greeted by the lovely staff, I waited. My time. Sal and Tarj made me feel at ease and after a few minutes listening to the disclaimer being read out, I shut my eyes and settled in for an hour or so. 50 seconds later it was all over!!! Did not feel a thing and genuinely was lost for words. Honest. 50 seconds and did not feel a thing. Well done to all the team. Brilliant. Thank you.
