Fantastic experience: Very Friendly Staff

Negative experience: Have had the worst experience of my life here. had a problem with bottom wisdom teeth coming through and crushing molars next to them needing them extracted. Took advice of dentist saying he can save a molar with filling. The filling fell out next day . I work 14 hour days in London 6 days a week. Have tried to get in and get filling relaced but unable to due to work duties and tiredness. Have now been told they won't treat or repair their shoddy workmanship unless I pay today for treatment but can't pay until Wednesday. Therefore cancelled my appointment and told they won't treat me again. Worst customer service ever. Please avoid this place if you can like the plague

Fantastic experience: Couldn't recommend enough, especially if you're nervous! Had a horrible experience with a previous dentist where all my concerns were dismissed and I ended up with a phobia. Plucked up the courage to come here for a check up and Devina was so kind and thorough, she reassured and listened me from beginning to end. I now have a good treatment plan in place and lots of advice moving forward. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: First time going to a dentist in 8 years, was bricking it to be honest. The dentist I saw (I think her name was Devina) was excellent, she put me at ease and made the whole experience very easy. Totally recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Having not been to a dentist in nearly forty years because of an absolute dread and fear of nerves because of another medical condition I was in a position of having to go. The girls here were absolutely brilliant to calm and reassure me that there was nothing to fear. An appointment was offered to me on the spot and as I walked in I reconfirmed my fears to the dentist and her nurse ( sorry I’ve forgotten both your names ). After over 3hrs in the chair (2 sessions) came out wondering why I had left it so long. Can’t praise all of the staff highly enough and would certainly recommend them to anyone in the same position as myself. Thanks to each and everyone of you

Fantastic experience: Second time going to mr Chen and this time we took our whole family ages from 34-19months. Again absolutely the best dentist we have seen. Both children are autistic and he handles them beautifully so much so that they aren’t nervous go back. Bless him and his colleagues they are amazing.

Negative experience: As a mental health advocate, I’m disheartened that the company has no consideration for those with mental health struggles. I called to cancel an appointment due to experiencing a crisis - the lack of understanding meant all they let me know was that I’d be deregistered. What a shame, but finding a practice with better knowledge and consideration is better. One size does not fit all, together dental.

Fantastic experience: I am very impressed for together dental clinic to accept me on nhs emergency treatment after my dental clinic gave me 1 year to wait. The doctor and dental nurse that treated me were so nice and gentle. Altogether the receptionists and all other staffs are very polite.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional service! Being new to the area and having had a dentist in Norwich for 40yrs I was very thankful for the receptionists friendly welcome and information. I had a very short wait and had a very friendly and caring dentist and nurse. After a thorough examination I was diagnosed with a fractured tooth and given a temporary filling. I was able to make arrangements to become a patient and return for further treatment.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic. They saw me a couple of weeks ago for an emergency appointment on the NHS when my regular dentist refused to. They're warm, welcoming, and I envy those patients registered with them. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Negative experience: Awful experience! they tried to removed a decayed wisdom tooth and snapped it, this was 2.5 weeks ago. I have since been in constant agony (which included a ruined holiday). They haven’t asked to see me again, but have referred me to a specialist for removal. The X-rays they sent didn’t cover the tooth in question, so it was rejected a week ago, but the dentist missed the email so didn’t resubmit it. They have now resubmitted the SAME X-rays! I am no further forward as they don’t return my calls and It’s getting more painful by the day. An absolutely awful practice run by incompetent people. They even refused to give me the prescription code to get antibiotics and said I had to collect the physical prescription, which they knew I couldn’t do. I have a strong case for medical negligence, and will be seeing this through!

Fantastic experience: Have had to get a couple of emergency appointments due to poor health affecting my teeth. Both times i was seen quickly, and was dealt with professionally. Staff are warm and friendly, all in all very pleased.

Positive experience: Today I got the NO 1 bus to my appointment at the dentist but the bus was in traffic due to road works close to the dentist. So I was about 5 mins late and I got told that I could not have my full appointment for route cannel due to not haveing enough time to so the dentist said I should have left early which we did so I just had to have a filling put in and had to arrange another appointment for 2 weeks time which is so annoying as they had no one in the waiting room. Even if you leave early you can never prodict what is on happening on the roads for your jorney, now I have waisted money that I don't have in travel and time. The staff are so lovely and kind they even ring you day before your appointment to see if your coming which is really good and the dentist does amazing work on my teeth and she is gentel and not a butcher. Appart from there late rules which is not fair for people who travel on public transport which you should some give some lee way for being only 5 mins late not a hour. There is nothing against the staff who work there they are all lovely its just the company rules which are discusting for no lee way for transport which I have 2 warnings and now one has been used up. Thanks Transport for Essex. I hope the right person in company will see this as this is not fair at all.

Fantastic experience: First time with this hygienist, put at ease from the start very friendly and professional. She did an amazing job I’m so pleased with the outcome and she gave very good follow up advice, will be booking again.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful. I was in terrible pain and they managed to fit me in after another patient cancelled. Was initially charged as emergency but when I booked the root canal treatment, she decided to include the appointment cost to the root canal treatment. While waiting for the the root canal, she prescribed me medications to manage my symptoms. Thank you, I dont have to suffer from toothache anymore.

Negative experience: Been coming here for years and it’s been brilliant… recently I’ve really struggled to get hold of the surgery! I’ve tried called numerous times yet no answer… I’ve tried emailing… again no answer! Really disappointed as they used to be brilliant

Fantastic experience: Everything in your own operation went perfectly, there was a snag with the lab which adjusted my denture but your staff took a lot of trouble and it was sorted remarkably quickly.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant Dentist! Can’t fault the team at all. I struggle really bad anxiety especially around Dentist / personal space and soons I walked in I felt this ease of comfort. They have a lovely big room too if you do feel anxious which definitely helped me a lot! Always explaining things through so you know exactly what’s going on!

Fantastic experience: Really great dentist. The staff are brilliant despite obviously being super busy. Always have appointments available even last minute. Had 2 fillings done and when I asked for white fillings did them at no extra charge. I'm usually very nervous with injections and dental procedures but I felt as relaxed as I could possibly be. Really recommend this practice!

Negative experience: Not happy with the place miss appointment mid treatment witch was not my fault as I never go any remind calls texts nothing when I call in the morning to see what time my appointment was but the time I finally got thought after being on hold so long the lady said oh it was ten minutes ago and now she refused to see me or finish my treat ment even offer to pay for the miss appointment so now left with missing front tooth as she took the wrong tooth out and half a root canal done and still in pain and can’t get seen anywear I’m just left in pain and with missing front tooth up until this I thought they was a grate dentist but not now Kelly knight

Negative experience: Horrible dentistry. I have been to Jane Murugi for a few years. Although NHS says scaling teeth is on band 1 treatment, she never performed it. As a consequence, tartar deposits continued to erode my gum, and I now have periodontitis, which I discovered after I went to a proper dentist in Romania. This explains my gum bleeding and periodontal abscess. My periodontitis is actually clearly visible on the x-ray anyway, but she never said anything about it. Please avoid this dentistry. I am sure there are better places in Colchester

Fantastic experience: The staff at the practice make me welcome. The service provided is thorough. Overall, i am pleased to be able to attend this practice.

Negative experience: Unfortunately my tongue met the drill and I have been in pain for a week. The water keeping the drill cool was choking me as it could not be sucked up quick enough and so I gaged at one point causing my tongue to touch the drill. I do not blame the dentist as she had a difficult enough job.

Positive experience: It was my first appointment and they really made me feel comfortable with non of the anxiety that comes with see your dentist.
