Fantastic experience: Excellent service, all staff very helpful and polite, the dentist explained every step and was very friendly, he spent time explaining aftercare and completed the appointment without causing any pain, very pleased with the service from this practice, would recommend them without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: So relieved to have found Wistaria! Fantastic service, amazing team, and fear of the dentist finally overcome! After several bad and painful experiences with an NHS practice, I was petrified of even getting checked up, and left it a good 10 years before finally seeking out Wistaria. Embarrasingly, I cried hopelessly through the whole of my new patient appointment but the whole team was incredibly kind and patient with me. In the last year, I have had a lot of work done with Nuria and can honestly say that I feel incredibly well looked after, and no longer dread appointments or treatment. Each filling i've had feels and looks completely natural, and fits perfectly when I bite (unlike ones I had at my previous practice!). Nuria always makes sure i'm pain-free throughout, even though I can be a little oversensitive and numbing me up usually requires more anaesthetic and extra time - this is definitely a kindness I never experienced at the dentist before, as I often had to bite my old dentist to stop him hurting me when I couldn't cope anymore! Credit to them, I've been an awkward patient, tricky to numb up, nervous, with the additional spanner of becoming pregnant halfway through my treatment plan! I can't say how brave i'll be if anything ever turns out to be more than a filling, but I trust Nuria and the nursing team completely. The whole Wistaria team are wonderful, friendly, and professional and I think they're stuck with me for life now as I would never be brave/stupid enough to go back to another practice, private or otherwise! Couldn't care less about paying private prices when you get this level of care. It's your health at the end of the day. It really is noticably better service, treatment, materials and overall experience and not expensive considering the price of consumables, medications, and staff expertise. They were also super helpful and understanding when times got a bit tougher and I needed to switch to a credit plan, which has been a godsend! Thank you Wistaria! Fantastic experience: Would give 6 starts if I could, can't recommend Wistaria House highly enough. I'm an extremely nervous patient due to previous bad experiences and everyone at Wistaria has made going to the dentist so much easier and manageable. Michelle in reception always welcomes you with a warm smile and instantly puts you at ease, Dr Paris and Catlin are both amazing, always taking their time to explain everything that's happening during treatment & are really friendly and welcoming, the absolute best around! I really can't thank them enough!

Fantastic experience: I have not been to the dentist in a very long time, due to being absolutely petrified by even the thought of booking an appointment. Wistaria dental was definitely the right choice. I have attended a hygienist appointment today with SHINY, and dental nurse LYDIA. They have both been brilliant, non judgmental and really supportive, I couldn’t have asked for more if I could. As scared as I may be, I’m already looking forward to my next appointment!

Fantastic experience: We moved to the area a year ago, and on the long list of ‘to do’s’ was finding a new dentist, stressful after having been with the previous one for years. We really needn’t have worried; Wistaria dental practice (which was recommended by a new neighbour) is fabulous. Warm, welcoming, and a highly professional service. Fantastic experience: I have recently joined Wisteria as a new patient and am honestly shocked at the difference of experience had! The reception team are friendly and helpful to start off with (which was actually what made me change), my initial consultation was an hour long. I had a full examination from the dentist, x rays , he then took the time to explain each x Ray to me. Nothing was rushed. Since then the communication from the team at Wisteria has been amazing. I had no idea that an experience at the dentist could be so different! I am so grateful to have found them and would absolutely recommend to anyone who may be nervous of the dentists as they made me feel incredibly relaxed, listened to and really felt as though I mattered. Fantastic experience: Needed an emergency dentist just after a painful Christmas. These were recommended and when I called they were so helpful and were able to see me the next day. The dentist was great, very helpful explaining everything. Receptionist was kind and helpful.Sorted my initial problem and I will return for further treatment . Everyone at the practice is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really helps calm any nerves you might have about going to the dentist. I had the pleasure of being treated by Sravya, who truly made the experience outstanding. I was nervous because my filling had broken, but she explained every step of the process clearly and was very calm and professional throughout. She checked in with me regularly to make sure I was comfortable and not in any pain. What could have been a stressful appointment turned into a quick and painless experience, thanks to her. They have taken very good care of us in the short time we've been with them, their service is efficient and friendly and their expertise is top notch. I've had a filling replaced with them very recently and the process was completely painless. I was eating solids without issue within hours . I would strongly recommend wistaria to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Negative experience: Really not impressed with this place, I'm fairly new to the area and have been in excruciating pain with an absess and a cracked tooth. I contacted wistaria house in the hope that they would be able to help me. I was told I would be able to get an emergency appointment at £175 which I then explained I haven't got the money for an emergency appointment. It then took them over 2 weeks to reply to me to explain that it was all they could offer me. It seems to me like all they care about is money which is enough to put me off sorry UPDATE: No one has contacted me to discuss anything so that was a lie

Fantastic experience: Everyone is always very friendly, efficient and professional. I'm quite an awkward patient (gag reflex etc) but the team always make adjustments to make me as comfortable as possible. I always leave feeling relaxed and smiling.

Negative experience: Dental hygienist lovely. Pity about the patronising dentist who is only keen to get across what he wants to say, who bridles at being told what the client expects, even after keeping them waiting 20 minutes without an explanation. I made the effort to organise my work to get there on time, I don't want to waste more time on a lecture.

Fantastic experience: I followed Andy from Topsham when he moved to Crediton. He is the most considerate dentist I've ever been with. I've found all the other members of his team to be incredibly professional and very friendly and can't recommend them all highly enough.

Fantastic experience: So, huge anxiety. quite literally have to take sedatives to even get me through the door. Had an extraction today due to a chronic infection, this was my first one without full sedation in a LONG time. FIRSTLY! Front of house, Yasmin was fantastic! very kind/welcoming, then of course, my wonderful dentist Sravya, I cannot express how at ease she made me feel, and that is no easy task! this was also helped by her brilliant assistant (not sure if that's the right nomenclature) Jodie. Today was one of the most stressful, anxiety riddled days I've had in a good few years, and thanks to these wonderful ladies, it was made that little bit better. If it were anything other than a dentist, I'd bring them some chocolates to say thanks!

Fantastic experience: Recently had a hygienist appointment with Hannah who was really thorough and did a great job. Very pleased to have joined this practice over a year ago now.

Negative experience: I joined this practice last year and have been once. I found the focus on upselling treatments rather off-putting, which has delayed returning for check ups. Essentially I had nothing wrong with my teeth (according to the dentist) so he suggested I have all my amalgam fillings replaced. My partner, who also attended the practice with another dentist, had a very similar experience, although the actual care he received was good. This weekend I had a tooth break and called to make an emergency appointment. I was told that although I was a registered patient, I couldn't book a specific appointment unless I was on one of the monthly payment plans. All this has left a bad taste in my mouth (hah!) and I'll be looking elsewhere for treatment.

Fantastic experience: Contacted the surgery at 8.30am this morning. I needed urgent attention for a very bad tooth ache. I was looked after by an extremely attentive receptionist. I was given an appointment for 4.00 this afternoon. I was looked after by Dr Sravya Makam. An extremely professional Dentist who was assisted by her dental nurse Jodie Flagg. After a dental examination Dr Sravya extracted the culprit tooth. Everything was explained in great detail and I was made to feel very much at ease. I was extremely happy with the service provided by Wisteria House Dental. I would recommend this surgery without hesitation. Thank you for looking after me so well today.

My treatment presented various hurdles but I had total faith in these two ladies. Everything is explained clearly and all questions and concerns answered. It's taken 55yrs but I've finally found a Dental Team I totally trust.
