I had previously gone to another dentist in Hounslow, where they never managed to treat my kids, but at Osterley Dentist, Dr. Sana completed all the treatment and even a tooth removal pain-free on the very first visit! Fantastic experience: I came to get fillings done by Shivum. He was easy to talk to when I had doubts and was indecisive at the start.I felt no pressure to decide what I wanted till I came back a week later. I spoke to him about what I wanted as I preferred the white fillings, which his input did make me feel more confident in my choice. He’s genuinely kind and caring towards his patients. He takes the time to understand your concerns and problems, rather than rushing through the process without any regard for your well-being. I truly appreciate your help. Fantastic experience: Very nice small dental practice. Dr Winayak fixed my bleeding and painful gums. I had that problem for years and has been told by a dentist abroad that nothing can be done. Now thanks to Dr Winayak there is no bleeding and most importantly no pain. It’s like a miracle. It was very expensive at the beginning but it was worth every penny. Now we go regularly and it’s much more affordable. Everybody is very nice and friendly and I can make appointments in the afternoons after work with no problem. Definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Called to get a repeat prescription of medicated tooth paste. Was met with a receptionist who said I won’t be able to get it because dentist is away for two weeks. I said so as this is a medication is there no other practitioner who can re issue the prescription. They denied it being medication even though the medical pamphlet describes it as such. They obviously didn’t want the weight of denying my medication for two weeks as this is a lawsuit in itself. Anyway, this receptionist said they’ll ask. This was an hour ago and they still haven’t called me back. The phone just rings out like they’ve turned it off now. Yet another person in the medical field, this one not even a doctor but a receptionist in a quest to deny medical care following a simple request for a repeat of a simple prescription wow wow. They also still operate in the dark ages of having to go collect a paper slip from them instead of just sending it electronically to your pharmacy.

Fantastic experience: I would like to write a review for Dr Shivum Winayak. I went for an initial consultation and check up with Dr Winayak today. I am very nervous of dentists due to past experience at other practices. However, my mind was put at rest very quickly with Dr WInayak. I felt I was being listened to and I also felt very confident that he was being very thorough. I came in with preconceived views on what my treatment should be but Dr Winayak showed a very high level of professionalism on explaining the best course of action. Following the initial x-ray examination, he explained to me in a very straight forward manner, on the best course of action and why. He listened to and addressed my concerns and was happy to make suggestions accordingly. The result was that I now have a plan of action under his professional advice. He was able to advise and talk me through the best options, listening to my input of what I could afford, I left feeling very relieved and confident that I can now regularly visit my dentist without any worry or being unclear about treatments. I also feel confident that the treatment is the best in my situation.

Fantastic experience: Both my Wife and myself have had dental work carried out by Gauri Srivastava and can highly recommend them. Not only is Gauri professional and efficient but she also puts. your mind at ease by explaining everything she is going to do which is a great help to nervous patients such as ourselves. Dental costs have risen dramatically over the last few years but Osterley Dental Practice have very reasonable rates for whichever treatment is needed. Fantastic experience: I am a new patient of this practice and am being treated by Dr Gauri Srivastava. My treatment is extensive and ongoing but as someone who has not visited a dentist for a while and and someone who feels anxeity towards doing so, I cannot thank Dr Gauri enough for her calm and reassuring approach, which has put me at ease, and enabled me to progress through my treatment without fear. Negative experience: Very unprofessional. I’m always made to wait half an hour or an hour for my appointment. They didn't take my cavity seriously a few years ago; Dr Poonom noticed it and claimed it was nothing to worry about; I'd visited her a few times in between and she never addressed it, and now that the cavity had grown, she wanted to blame me and claim it must be from all the sweets I’ve been eating. I’m an adult, I don’t consume sweets. If she did her job properly it wouldn’t have become such a big problem. I had an appointment today, and she was discussing a political situation with her assistant, which is quite inappropriate. There is a time and place for it. I feel like I was overcharged for a terrible service.

Negative experience: Got completely butchered.. It was the worst dentist I have ever visited. Went in with pain in my tooth. I was told it was cracked and needed a crown. I went the next day for crown prep, and this is where my worst nightmare began. Dr. Winayak did a crown prep with minimum anaesthetic. I was in agony, and she managed to do it in 15 minutes while leaving me in a lot of pain and butchered me (cut my tongue). I was told it was my fault for "moving too much". My face was covered in blood, and I was sent home with my mouth full of blood, unable to open my mouth. For the next month, I was back and forth to different dentists as I was terrified going back there. I was in pain for a whole month and did 3 courses of antibiotics because she left me with nasty infection while I was at home with a 2 month old baby. The tooth eventually started to die and had to be taken out in a hospital. Please don't bother going there. Poonam was very unprofessional, she speaks over you, nothing is ever her fault, and she treats people depending if people are paying or they have exemptions. I lost a molar tooth and now need to be thinking of how to fill up the massive gap she left the with...disgusting, I am not sure how is she a dentist... I am now left feeling terrified from all dentists

Negative experience: Dr. Poonam is quite frankly the worst dentist I have ever come across. She scammed my elderly parents by selling a service, before my parents even understood anything they were charged a hefty ££ amount for a service they did not even ask for!!! SO unfair and unprofessional. When they asked why they are being charged and tried to challenge them, they were completely shut off. Never ever go here!

Negative experience: I’ve had my teeth cleaned at multiple dentists locally and in central London and never had any problems or felt much pain or sensitivity from cleaning. However after having my teeth cleaned at osterley dental I felt like I had been in a torture session and had headaches for a week. This was remarkable since I never get headaches. I am putting this review for others to be careful and especially those who are vulnerable such as the elderly to think very carefully about attending this practice ( I am young but would be very worried if an older family member was attending the practice ). Fantastic experience: After not being to a dentist in over 12 years i was recommended Dr Ghauri. When i first visited her i explained my traumatic experience with a dentist and she was really understanding. From the get go she explained everything she would do before starting any work, as well as be paitent and wait till i was ready regardless on how long it took also being caring on the look and feel everytime i had work done on my teeth. After this amazing experience i recommended her to everyone, my whole family no visits her including my elderly grandma who she qas extra paitent with. Finding someone who enjoys their work this much is rare so i would definitely suggest her to everyone and anyone.

Negative experience: I had the most degrading and humiliating treatment today by poonam winayak. I made an emergency dentist appointment and explained my issues over the phone. I waited 3 hours to be seen in agonising pain and discomfort from a chip tooth caused by a previous dentist which is causing me sensitivity and pain , and cutting my gums. As soon as i entered the room, she didnt even ask me how i was , what i came in for. She said i wanted to speak to you because i can see u have a complaint open about the previous dentist and you should go back to him. I explained that was opened by the general medical council because he refused to provide the remedial work, so its to investigate his compentency as a dentist but i was advise i should still seek treatment for my pain which is why i came to her today. She said ‘ i dont feel comfortable treating you’. I was penalised for having a complaint open, and refused treatment because of it. I was humiliated. I was forced to leave by poonam. She turned her back on me and refused to listen as i begged her treat me and cried. she told me i can leave by the back fire exit door. I was given an appointment then refused treatment on arrival as if i had committed a crime. I will never forget how she treated me today and caused me a panic attack. Il be taking this further no one should be treated this way just because they have a complaint filed for a seperate dentist that had nothing to do with her, i was discriminated for this and made to feel so small. All because they asked for my dental records from her in the past. She didnt act in my best interest at all.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sana is a great dentist who really takes care of her patients. She will listen to you and spend her time helping her patients as much as she can. She is always friendly and full of energy and that’s nice to experience when you are most likely there for some pain.
