Fantastic experience: My husband had a really bad toothache caused by a wisdom tooth, and Dr. Christian was amazing! He saw him very quickly and fixed everything right away — the pain was gone almost instantly. We’re so grateful for his professionalism and kindness. Now my husband also visits Jennifer, the dental hygienist, for regular cleanings, and he absolutely loves going there. She’s always so friendly, gentle, and thorough. We highly recommend this clinic – everyone is caring, professional, and truly goes above and beyond!

I had to have 2 dental implants done, and after taking a few professional opinions, I picked Wimpole St Dental Clinic : they were not the cheapest quote, but they followed up on all my queries speedily and efficiently, and they were very clear on the pricing from the upfront. Dr Mehl was sensitive to my anxiety and treatment choices due to previous experiences, and the work was impeccably done. Very happy to have switched to the clinic as my main dentist !

Fantastic experience: I visited Dr. Negin Mosahebi for treatments for my deep cavities and she was extremely thorough and patient in terms of explaining all my treatment options. Moreover, the website showcased the less invasive and more affordable vital pulp therapy using biodentine which not only showcased the skills of the dentist but also how their treatment philosophy is patient-centred and focused on preserving the natural teeth. The clinic is a little bit on the pricier side though I was mentally prepared for that since it’s London! The quality of service and care provided is definitely worth it :)

Negative experience: Would not recommend. Very bad job at fixing a tooth cavity, let me sit there waiting for 20+ minutes with a drilled hole to a point where my anesthetics went away and did not believe I need a top up. Try to upsell you and convince you that you need more fixes than needed. Also aesthetically very poor end result - my new dentist was horrified and felt very bad for me. Any other clinic in London does a better job.

Negative experience: In the past I really enjoyed going here - but now their booking system and reception team seem unwilling to help and lack any flexibility. To give some context, the clinic sent an email at 8:35am and then demanded payment by 5pm the same day or the booking would be cancelled. (Despite the appt not being for a further 2 weeks time). This timeframe is completely unreasonable given people often don’t check their personal emails during the work day… and then all my appts were cancelled with no apology from the reception team. There has also been no past issues with payment so I really urge this practice to consider the practicality of their short time frame for payments. Seems very unreasonable and inflexible. I felt that the reception team had no remorse so have decided to look elsewhere - unfortunately.

Fantastic experience: I had veneers done at wilpole st dental clinic with Dr. Raul Costa a couple of years ago because my teeth were really worn down, and if anyone is looking to have this treatment he's surely the best and the team is super friendly. I didn’t realise how much my smile was affecting my confidence until after the treatment. But I always worried with having veneers as I've seen people with funny looking ones and I wanted my smile to look as natural as possible- which was achieved! The whole process was smooth. Everything was explained clearly, no pressure, and Dr. Costa took the time to understand what I wanted. I really liked being able to preview the smile before anything permanent was done which made me feel confident about moving forward. I had never thought about this, but deciding together with the technician (Atsu, who is also brilliant) how my smile would look like was super important to me. Another thing I appreciated was how well he photographed the whole case — he shared with me the photos along the way and the before/after at the end, which was amazing to see. I actually forget that I have veneers now, they're simply my teeth and they feel great.

I watched Christian's interviews online and went through his 'Before & Afters' so you could say I got to know his ethics, knowledge and skills before meeting him for the first time and I now have dental treatment with peace of mind. Something other dentists I saw in the past failed to establish. Rebecca (head dental nurse) and Ajay (dental nurse) are Christian's assistants and you can expect the same level of professionalism from them. I also see Jennifer for dental hygiene and she's extremely thorough at what she does. I always see Jennifer first and then Christian straight after. Karol, Gerson, Elena and Mary in reception which is a nice and calm environment are always welcoming, they are excellent communicators and more than helpful. And last but definitely not least are the skilled dental technicians whom we don't get to meet but Christian always introduces and praises them for their work in his Dental Case videos. I have said this to Christian a few times ... I wish I'd found him/his clinic years ago. Luckily for us, Christian's wife loves London so no chance of him going back to Germany!
