Always a clean and tidy practice and if in need they always do their best to fit you in. Highly recommend! Came back for 3 fillings today. I have been seen twice now by Mrs Surongi. She is a lovely, polite, professional and friendly dentist and makes you feel at ease. Again very happy with this dental surgery!

Positive experience: Excellent dentist (posted around 1 year ago) EDIT: Unfortunately, I feel I need to edit my review after a really bad experience. I've been with this practice for about 20 years and find Dr Aggarwal to be skilled and a good dentist, which is the reason I stayed with them. However, when I tried to make an appointment for dental cleaning few days ago, I was told that I can't see Dr Aggarwal , who was my dentist of choice, but someone else. When I asked why that is I was told he had a bad back and was asked if I wanted to be put on a waiting list. However, at that point another receptionist took over and became really defensive and rude, raising her voice. I asked her not to be argumentative as I am a patient and just want to make an appointment. To cut the long story short, I wanted to end this conversation and put it down to her having a bad day, and asked to be put on a waiting list for Dr Aggarwal once he is back to performing other tasks, at which point she said "I might forget, call again in 3 months" !! That is appalling customer service and not how I expected to be treated after years of being the patient of the clinic! Not taking anything from Dr Aggarwal's abilities as a dentist but this sort of treatment by the reception staff is shameful. I would have made a complaint if they had an option for it without having to contact reception staff.

Negative experience: Attitude Our experience with Norwood Dental Practice was extremely disappointing. When we brought up a valid concern about the constant change of doctors at the practice, instead of addressing it professionally, the staff became defensive. The receptionist’s response was shockingly rude. She outright told us to go back to the dentist we had visited before, rather than trying to address our issue or offer any reassurance. This kind of attitude is unacceptable and makes patients feel dismissed and disrespected. A dental practice should provide consistency and care, but the unprofessionalism we encountered here was enough to make us lose trust in their services. It’s clear that patient concerns are not taken seriously, and we will not be returning.

Dr.Raju is so gentle and always pays attention to the smallest things aswell . As I have a phobia of needles , he made sure that I was comfortable before the treatment. Fantastic experience: I have been using this dental practice (NHS) ever since I moved into the area 22 years ago without any issues. A really good feature of this Practice is that they are very accommodating and if they can fit you in any earlier than a specified appointment then they will. I can make no comparisons to other dental practices in the area as having found this Practice I have not had any reason to look elsewhere.

Negative experience: I have been coming to this dentist for a while and their quality of care has never been great but today it was horrible, I came in today for an appointment and was charged £70 I came back later to ask for an itemised bill for insurance and the receptionist was extremely rude and started speaking to me in a disrespectful way i told her to please watch her tone and how she was speaking as there was no need for her to have attitude as i was making a simple request of my records. She began to shout at me in front of patients and threatened to call the police on me. I told her she could call the police as I had done nothing wrong and as a patient I have to right to request my history and know exactly what i am being charged for. She called the Dentist Dr Aggarwal and as i tried to explain what happened he also began being extremely rude and said i was taking him away from his patients and they are busy, i said i understand they are busy but that doesn't mean they can be disrespectful to patients especially as it would not be tolerated the other way around and the fact that she wanted to get police involved is a serious matter. I got a refund for the appointment but yet they could not tell me how much each service was. Something tells me they are scamming patients and overcharging them to try and make up for what they lost during the lockdown as they were almost shut down. Thats the only explanation as to why they became hostile and refused to provide an itemised bill. Please avoid, especially if you are black as they threatened to call the police as a way to scare me and belittle me infront of their community, 0 stars if i could

Negative experience: Not a professional practice. Seen Dr Agarwal shout at receptionists (one being his wife). They insist you pay by debit card and not credit card. Dr Agarwal likes to give the option of extraction rather than discussing other options because that means he can't do the job and has to refer you elsewhere. Avoid if possible!

Fantastic experience: A Massive Thank you to Dr Aggarwal for seeing me as an emergency case today. He skillfully dealt with a root canal as well as removal of a wisdom tooth that had been causing me a great deal of pain. His calm demeanour kept me at ease the whole time. I have had bad experiences elsewhere in the past, so it was so nice to finally have a good experience at a dental practice. The service was amazing all of the way from checking in at reception right through to exiting after my treatment. I have no problem giving 5* for the service provided by Dr Aggarwal and his team.
