Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this practice for many, many years and I could not recommended them enough. Every single staff member I have seen has been so kind and welcoming and it often feels like you are part of their ‘dental family’. A huge thank you to the hygienists, Izabela and Monika who are always so gentle with me. A special mention to my regular dentist Lesya, who has often seen my tears fall due to my high dental anxiety, yet her patience, encouragement and kindness, ensures that I keep on top of my check-ups despite my fears. Arriving in Liliana’s consulting room in tears and highly anxious for my first ever root canal today was so stressful. Like many, I have heard and read all the negative stories that go with root canals, however, Liliana was amazing! She also showed me nothing but patience, kindness and encouragement. Whilst I do not wish to hear that I need a root canal again, if I did, I would not hesitate in booking back in with Liliana who today, has proven all the negative stories wrong. If you need one, do not google it, just book it with Liliana. You will not regret it! Thank to all the kind dental nurses and reception staff for also putting up with me and despite my fears, I always leave there feeling cared for and looked after. You really are all amazing!

Personally, I was very reluctant to go to the dentist because of a bad experience I had in the past. Meeting Lilliana has been my only chance to solve my dental issue with a different feeling. Her patience, her emphaty, her competence and skills ... made a difference in my approach to dental care.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Liliana Barros for many years, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received. She’s done a wide range of treatments for me—from root canals to fillings and crowns—and the results have always been excellent. She has a great eye for aesthetics, so all her work looks beautifully natural. On top of that, she’s always professional, attentive, and makes me feel completely at ease during every visit.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming to Oriel Villas since we moved to Cheltenham 15 years ago. All 4 of us have had nothing but a positive experience every single visit. My children were 2 and 4 when they first went and unlike my horrific experience of the childhood dentist, they actually look forward to going to the dentist! From the moment we walk in, we all feel welcomed; from the receptionists to the lovely reception area. We always manage to get appointments when we need. And very importantly, we never ever are kept waiting for more than 5 minutes! I had to have a root canal and an extraction with Jakub. All was painfree and so quick! He has a wonderful manner. Very reassuring.More recently I have had gum disease and have visited Izabela every 3 months for the past 18 months. Izabela is amazing!! My teeth feel so clean afterwards and my gum disease is receding due to her care (and my improved brushing and teepees!) I have also learnt so much about Poland!!!! Fantastic experience: I can’t remember how many years I have been coming to this practice, but it is a long time and definitely the best one I have been to. As well as being very professional, Liliana is incredibly warm and welcoming. She keeps you informed whilst performing the procedures and at the same time helps you feel relaxed. My hygienist is Izabela, and I feel very lucky to be one of her patients. She is warm and friendly and, like Liliana very professional and knowledgeable. I am lucky to have the dream team of dental care, along with their nurses (sorry I can’t remember your names).

Over time they have got better but today I had an amazing experience with the dentist called Kate, she was amazing and understanding and really supportive with my anxiety. I highly recommend Kate if you have anxiety. She made me feel so comfortable.

Monika, the hygienist, offers real advice and support, and the reception staff want to help and nothing is too much trouble to them. A complete, customer focused team: well done.

Negative experience: NOT SUITABLE FOR SEN!!! Children or adults!!Appalling service for my children. Given dangerous advice to administrating a medicine( oral gel) not suitable for under 12 yo because it could cause lack of oxygen in blood in small children.I was judged for breastfeeding my non verbal autistic toddler, who they had no patience for and tried to lecture me on teeth hygiene, even though my child has a condition he was born with no enamel on some teeth. The dentist was huffing and had zero compation for my scared child! Told me not to bring my children back there 'until they can sit in the chair' . My 6yo ASD child, was looked at like some sort of animal. If you have sensory issues, phobias or SEN, do not go if you require being treated with compassion or respect.

It can take a while to get through to anyone as they’re always so busy but apart from that, it’s always a good experience.

Negative experience: So you make an appointment for say the hygienist they tell you the price and leave a deposit, you come along for the appointment then go to pay the balance afterwards and they tell you the preciously agreed upon price has gone up. I'm pretty sure this is illegal and will be checking and making the necessary report.

Fantastic experience: After previously having had an awful time where I waited 45 MINUTES to see Monika, and she never appeared!!... I left with a refund and thought I would never return. However, I now see a different hygienist and am much happier to return here.

Fantastic experience: Seen a few different Dentists here, Helga, Jukub and Lesya as well as the Hygienist Monika. Each of them has been absolutely superb. Respectful, attentive and very highly skilled. As someone who is terrified of the dentist they always made me feel very calm and I have never felt rushed even when I'm asking for constant explanations. All the nurses I've come across are really lovely both on reception and in Surgery. I've never looked forward to the dentist but if i was too; this would be the one!

Negative experience: The NHS dentist Helga is the worst dentist I have ever encountered, a filling cracked open and she put a temporary filling in and I was forced to have it there for four weeks. When she finally put a permanent in, my tooth cracked right open and had to be extracted. At this point, the practice benefit from her negligence because you are forced to go private to fix her work. Despite a recent checkup, another filling which has been falling out was not noticed by her either, and I have gone to another practice to have that refilled. Her checks are cursory, she doesn't bother to xray when there are problems that might be complex and it will cost you a fortune to fix her work. I absolutely do not recommend this practice

My dentist for the last few years has been Lesya who is excellent. She is professional, competent and reassuring. She has undertaken a fair amount of work on my behalf: crown; bridge; fillings; regular check-ups, and I am really pleased with the results. A shout-out too for my hygienist, Joanna, who is first-class and who has succeeded in getting me to focus properly on my dental hygiene.

Negative experience: It’s near impossible to get through to reception and then when you do, the phone either gets cut off or put down.

Fantastic experience: I recently contacted reception at Oriel Villas due to already having an appointment booked for a broken tooth however since booking I lost a filling and didn’t wish to turn up to my appointment with a list of issues. I believe I spoke to Mia who was incredibly professional, helpful and thorough. Mia managed to book me into a recently cancelled appointment where I saw Jakub who carefully and sensitively carried out the work with very little discomfort. Thank you to all involved.

Fantastic experience: I recently had emergency treatment with Premika and found her to be the most efficient and empathic dentist I have ever met. I am a very nervous patient after years of traumatic experiences in previous surgeries. Premika was calm and gentle and completely put my fears aside. Fantastic experience: Just finished a 12 month Invisalign package. Right from the get-go Sonya was fabulous. Everything was explained perfectly in simple steps, covering the treatment plan, things I could expect in terms of changes. I asked a lot of questions and Sonya always took the time to make sure I had all the answers. Her and her team have been fantastic over the last 12 months, and the end result was well worth it. Oriel Villas patient care is second to none, I would strongly recommend them as a dentist. Thank you again Sonya and team I couldn't be happier with my smile - credit to you all.

Fantastic experience: I never leave reviews but I wanted to say how impressed and pleased I am with my recent experience at this dental surgery. The reception ladies were lovely and my nurse and dentist made me feel calm during my procedure. I told them about my dental anxiety and they reassured me that they totally understand and we could take a break at any time. They made me feel seen and I didn’t need to take any breaks after we talked. I’ve never walked out of a dental surgery feeling relaxed but it seemed impossible not to after my experience. I actually look forward to going back and having more work done. 5 stars!

Negative experience: Im a private patient. They made me wait 35mins for an appointment I had to pay for in advance. I had to leave as would not have been enough time for the appointment. Since posting this review they contacted me to apologise, which was kind of them.

Negative experience: It appears Oriel has made little effort to replace NHS dentists, prioritising private work instead and thus leading to masse culls of NHS patients. Everyone elses fault apparently.

Fantastic experience: I can smile with confidence again after my Invisalign treatment :). 2021 I had a front tooth knocked out, which the practice managed to save and put back in for me, but this meant my teeth were very out of line and the front tooth stuck out like a sore thumb. I was so low about it, but Sonia was amazing and took me through my options. I am so impressed with the pride Sonia takes in her work and just very grateful for what she has achieved with Invisalign. It is so worth it if you are not happy with your smile. I am no longer conscious about showing my teeth , my cheeks hurts from smiling so much. Fantastic experience: I was recently treated by dentist Sonia and hygienist Mithun, and I must say it was a great experience for someone suffering with general anxiety. Mithun and his nurse Chahat were very professional throughout the appointment. He was very gentle yet thorough and I felt my teeth much cleaner after the session. I would surely be booking another hygiene appointment with him again.

Positive experience: We've been registered as private patients for two years now and have faced challenges when trying to book appointments. Despite making it clear that we are not NHS patients, the two receptionists repeatedly assumed otherwise due to our ethnicity, denying us services. However, after clarifying our status, they suddenly became accommodating again. It's disheartening to face such assumptions. How unfortunate it is, because the clinic itself is great. Every patient deserves fair treatment, and I hope for a more inclusive approach to healthcare services that doesn't rely on background assumptions.

Negative experience: I saw Jakob in April 21, as a new NHS patient. He was rude and the appointment was rushed. I needed a small filling. Whilst doing the numbing injection he hit the nerve. I had an electric shock in my mouth. He said he just came close!! 2 1/2 years on I am left with nerve damage. The pain has been horrific. My young son was with me and now is scared of dentists. This is appointment was the worst day of my life.
