Fantastic experience: This dentist is on the ball quick polite reception are the best even better than the top end push dentist. Unfortunately my dentist who I got on really well with has left now so I hope I get along with the new one

My dentist is excellent and I have been with him for a long time . The technicians are very supportive and as a result you feel calm which makes it a lot easier. Fantastic experience: The dentist is brilliant! He does a great job, explains well, answering any questions with patience, and is friendly. You can tell he cares about his patients. I’m very happy he’s our new dentist. The practice itself is modern, clean, has a friendly, efficient reception team, and is located well with parking nearby. Although you pay for parking, it’s reassuring that it’s off road. The appointment system is very good and explained well. Maybe a water cooler in reception and a few magazines? You don’t wait long to go in, just for comfortability 10/10

Fantastic experience: I felt very at ease from walking through into the reception area. The receptionist were friendly and welcoming to going into the Dentist which again I felt very at ease, everywhere was clean and I came away feeling very pleased.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to this practice. It’s located in a very handy town centre location with ample parking nearby. The registration process was filled in online which made the process much simpler. The receptionists were very friendly and the waiting area pleasant and comfortable. The dentist and her technician assistant were professional and courteous throughout. The dentist was very careful to obtain clear x-ray photographs And communicated her findings very clearly. We were then able to formulate a plan. I was very impressed overall, and I’m very happy with my choice of dental practice.

Negative experience: A truly awful experience for me and my family. We all had a shocking level of care which falls well below even the most basic of standards. Where do I start? I have spent six months considering whether I should leave this negative review, as I want to be fair and objective. But after careful consideration I feel this review is warranted and I feel the need to warn other patients of the shortcomings of this practice. My son was never treated properly as even basic checkups were not thorough and shortly after he was x-rayed, we were told no treatment was necessary. This was factually untrue as an x-ray a few weeks later from a different dentist showed he actually needed several fillings. The worst incident however involve my wife where she required additional work and several extractions. This was not picked up early enough in a previous checkup and I believe due to incompetence the deterioration was such that it would’ve been evident this was going on for quite some time and would’ve shown on an x-ray which was taken. Subsequently then we were told that this was a specialist extraction. This would need to be done elsewhere. What shocked us the most, was this was quite a serious infection and my wife was in considerable pain. My wife accepts it is also her responsibility to maintain her teeth also, but when you go to a dentist, you expect them to be conscientious and reasonably competent, with a duty of care to the patient. Rosa, who was the dentist involved was then asked to send the medical records to the appropriate dentist who would be able to carry out the extraction. This was obviously an urgent matter, as my wife’s oral health was deteriorating and she was in considerable pain and also very stressed. This was an urgent matter and needed to be resolved quickly. Rosa did not send the medical records as requested. We had to constantly chase the medical practice and ask her to send them as soon as possible on numerous occasions. Our request seem to get ignored and this went on for several weeks. She did eventually send through the records, which was farcical , as it turns out unbelievably she instructed that a different tooth be extracted, so a healthy tooth rather than the decayed tooth. We were slightly lost for words, as not only did she cause my wife considerable pain and anxiety, this was further exacerbated by her incompetence by specifying the wrong tooth to be extracted. I too had problems with Rosa, who I do admit was likable and friendly at first but overall I do not believe she’s a competent dentist. The hygienist I used was also friendly but having used other hygienists since I realise that overall I was getting a below par treatment and I have received far superior dental work and much better hygienist work elsewhere which was pain free. I would stress to anybody who is still at this dentist to perhaps reevaluate their situation and consider going elsewhere, as unfortunately I was under the illusion that we were receiving adequate dental care when in fact it was well below standard. I’m afraid I have not got any positive things to say other than I’m very glad I left, and I wish I had left sooner. Buyer beware!

After my last dentist messed me about it struggled to find a new one but rodney dental took me and my partner in and I'm so glad they did,, staff are friendly and very accommodating and the dentist done such a good job. After saying I had sensitive teeth he was very careful and gentle and made sure I wasn't uncomfortable in the slightest, best experience I've ever had with any dentist. Can't wait till my next appointment.

Negative experience: Just taken my 6 year old for a routine appointment check up. The dentist assistant was polite and friendly. The appointment which is meant to last 10 minutes, which is not a long time anyway, onky lasted 4 minutes! The Dentist didn't even say hello to my son or explained what he was doing. Only words said to my son was "open your mouth". Absolutely abismal way to treat a child or any person really. Just awfull.

Negative experience: I was late to an appointment by 15 mins, my fault. The appointment was for 30 mins but they refused to see me for the 15 minutes remaining and refused a partial refund.
