Fantastic experience: TO: Doctor Nirav Dalia - Principal Dentist. I wish to share a lifesaving moment when I attended Dental Beauty practice, in Grange Street, St Albans, a few weeks ago. Why lifesaving? And, thank you for asking me. It was James Brown who emphasised the importance of teeth. Not any teeth, our teeth. HAIR AND TEETH: “HAIR IS THE FIRST THING. AND, TEETH THE SECOND. HAIR AND TEETH. IF A MAN HAS GOT THOSE TWO THINGS. HE’S GOT IT ALL.” James Brown. 1933-2006. I am at the fag-end of my life. So it’s important not to have too many regrets. Starting with omitting to say that Daisy Bryant is the best dentist hygienist, by a mile, I have opened my mouth to. And, whilst I was doing that, I was taken by the Practice’s wall mounted monitor. This, showing a short video of how Daisy uses her spare-time as a volunteer in Uganda. When, she should be on a sun-lounger in Marbella. Instead, Ms Bryant is an extraordinarily person, who spends her Summer holiday’s giving of her skills to the poor, and to the dispossessed. This review is by John Murphy. Done under no duress. With no one kneeling on my throat. And, with no remunerations, which I am currently aware of, wending its way to me?

Fantastic experience: I had such a positive experience at Dental Beauty St Albans. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist, Melanie, was so welcoming and friendly, which immediately put me at ease. My dental nurse, Elena, was absolutely amazing – she kept me calm throughout, was really reassuring, and even cleaned my glasses for me, which was such a thoughtful touch. My dentist, Sameer, was fantastic. He took the time to explain everything really clearly, showed me pictures of my teeth, and gave me all the information I needed. He was very informative, calm, and professional, which made me feel completely at ease. Overall, the whole team were brilliant, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have received excellent care by Maya Mandalia recently. Her expertise and professionalism is obvious, but she also manages to create a relaxed, stress free environment. She takes a genuine interest, and never rushes through appointments. Her assistant Elenor is extremely kind and considerate, they are a great team. I have complete confidence in Maya, very important if you're at all nervous about visiting the dentist!

Fantastic experience: We have been offered the next day morning appointment with emergency need. Tooth removal process for kid is fast. Doctor and nurse are kind and polite. My kid felt relaxing during the whole process. It’s a pleasant experience.

Negative experience: Still waiting for my £20 refundaɓle deposit! Went for the open Invisalign day, paid a £20 refundable deposit which I'm still waiting to receive because Isabella from reception couldn't be bothered to do the refund straight away. She said it will be processed and I will also receive an email confirmation. And before leaving, I saw her processing one refund for another customer but refused mine - double standards! Nothing happened, so I had to call and chase it on Monday and this time I spoke to Mel, who did send me an email but I still didn't get the money back. Anyway, have to be very careful with the "great promos" they advertise on the Invisalign day because it doesn't involve aligning and straightening all your teeth, they focus on the main ones which are problematic but this is very dishonest, because all teeth have to be correctly in place, otherwise you'll have again issues in the future. Luckily I went to 2 other clininics and they've clearly explained how the appropriate treatment should be carried out and decided to go with one of them. Not to mention, they were £700 cheaper, much cleaner and professional than this practice. Really don't know how they get so many good reviews, because it doesn't deserve it in my opinion. Always be careful with whom you spend your hard worked money with and make sure you get at least 3 quotes from various places, don't fall for the "amazing" offers which many times are too good to be true.

Positive experience: I went to this dentist for 2-3 years and had a lot of dental work undertaken. They are friendly and seem proficient. This practice is very commercial and I felt they put pressure on me to have lots of treatments. I felt like I was someone who could make them money rather than just being a patient. I have recently moved to another practice as a result.

Fantastic experience: I had my crowns and veneers done in Turkey. One of them chipped. I was so stressed because it was one of my front ones. I cannot go back there just for one tooth. So I took a chance and visited a dental practice close to my work. Dr. Nirav Dalia explained to me that is gonna be very difficult to get a perfect match, but he will try his best. I was really scared but I just went for it. After a few fits, I could not be happier. Thank you so much, Dr. Dalia.

Fantastic experience: A very friendly, welcoming practice where I feel assured to be in safe hands. Sameer is the dentist who has been looking after me since being with this practice and I can honestly say I’ve never felt more at ease at the thought of having to go to the dentist, his confidence in work and want to make sure his clients are confident in their service doesn’t go unnoticed. I’ve always been greeted by a lovely receptionist, Alice, who is always keen to help and gives you warm smile upon entering the practice. I am sure any other staff members that I will come across in my time here will also provide the same reassurance. I highly recommend using this practice if you’re currently looking for one to join!

Fantastic experience: Don’t bother unless you look like you are a person with money you will go in there and come out with no idea about any future treatment. Travelled over an hour to have a consultation about some composite bonding Total waste of time was told I wasn’t suitable for the bonding was told that I would probably be more suitable for veneers. No treatment plan started set up I was told I needed some implants no treatment plan or anything given just come back when you get implants!! I’m sorry aren’t you supposed to be the dentist? That’s supposed to do the implants? Why would you not try and start a treatment plan to make an implant so that I could get those veneers? I think, if you don’t look the part don’t bother coming here I dressed down the day. I was there. I was in a tracksuit and trainers because I was running around doing shopping and had to drop my daughter to school and I think that because I did not look like I had some money, they couldn’t be bothered to even set up a treatment plan for me. Do not bother to go to this place if you have money they are only nice to you because you have money and you look like you have money and if you look like you don’t have money, you will get absolutely no treatment whatsoever.

Fantastic experience: Professional and meticulous diagnosis of my dental issues, fully explained together with a clear plan of how to restore my dental health. Had a couple of fillings so far and have been treated with care and reassuring consideration. I consider myself fortunate to have such a high level of dental care.

Fantastic experience: For someone who hasn't been to the dentist for some time, I was understandably very anxious about going back to the dentist. That all changed after about 2 minutes. Dr. Sameer Rao and Nikoleta put me at ease almost instantly. I've spent a lot of time with them over the past few weeks, and I couldn't have asked for a better team of professionals. I have been a customer of the old Grange St Practice for the last 30 years and was nervous about all the changes but no need. The staff are wonderful. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had a first check up and a hygienist appointment. The doctors were incredibly skilled and very friendly, which is very important for someone such as myself who finds going to the dentist a nerving experience. By far the best practice I've been to in my adult life. I want to say a special thank you to Dr Sawan Kotecha and Dr Iqra Ishfaq for making my visit a pleasure.
