Fantastic experience: 8/11/17 Today was a pleasant experience. As I do not like injections and have a low pain threshold, a lot of care and patience was taken to minimise the pain by using a gel to numb the injection pain. At every point the procedure was explained and checking I was ok. After the filling I was clearly told what I should do while there was numbness. I also appreciated watching a television programme with subtitles, it helped to relax me.

Positive experience: Highly recommend this clinic, I've been going a number of years and had no issues ever.

Fantastic experience: It was with some trepidation that I walked through the Orion Dental Centre front door to undergo an awkward root canal procedecure to be performed by Dr. Daniel Michael. I need not have worried. The whole procedure was very professional, painless and carried out very competently. I listened to a soundtrack by Queen in the background and watched a TV at the same time. Daniel was consistently tapping his foot and humming, and I found myself joining in at times. I am still humming Queen songs now :-) I was very impressed and would highly recommend the services of Orion Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: A filling needed repairing and it was done very quickly and efficiently. The dentist took the time to check that the area was fully numb and offered to stop at any point I'd feel sensitivity. This was very reassuring for me.

Fantastic experience: Had a checkup and a clean. Really lovely dentist. I really appreciated that they explained the science side of everything and showed me the x-rays while explaining. Haven't found a dentist who does that before. It's nice knowing what you are paying for. All the staff I came across were friendly and welcoming and seemed happy to be there. Fantastic experience: I've recently had some less than ideal experiences at other dentists (Private & NHS) and wanted a second opinion on some treatment I needed. Upon arrival for my emergency dental appointment (to get a broken wisdom tooth checked) it was an incredibly refreshing experience. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and it was really lovely environment which you can tell care has been put into. Despite my nerves the appointment was a positive one! Daniel was excellent and fully explained to me what had caused the break (alas self-inflicted) but help me understand going forward what treatment was recommended and preventative advice for the future. I decided to get the work done with the practice and was booked in for 2 days later having the work done this morning. Instead of simply removing the tooth Daniel was able to fill it to preserve it. Work was completed in a short amount of time (so little disruption to my day!) but pain free and importantly to a high standard! I would also like to mention the kind receptionist Sarah who helped me through all the appointment bookings and payments. I will certainly return going forward.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful dentist. I went for an urgent appointment after developing an infection. I chose to go private because I have a deep-rooted fear of dentists, so I wanted to go somewhere that would sedate if I needed work done. When you enter the practice, Sarah the receptionist makes you feel very welcome and the dentist, Daniel, made me feel relaxed and at ease. I didn't need the sedation in the end because they took their time to make sure there was no pain despite having to have work done on an infection that had been there since covid. I will definitely be going back.

Negative experience: I haven’t used this new dentist. So my old rating has been removed as my dentists Philip is no longe here.. so I can’t comment thank you

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at this dental clinic now for nearly 2 years and I would highly recommend it. The staff are very friendly and Daniel makes you feel very comfortable and at ease as does Janette the hygienist. Whatever your looking for in dentistry Orion Clinic does it all.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Daniel Michael recently regarding bite issues and temporal joint pain. He took the time to listen to me and following an x-ray, referred me to an oral maxillofacial Consultant in the first instance. It is my intention to return to Orion for any bite and dental work that is required. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Very bad dentist I had to go to turkey to get there bad work rectified. This place just seems to charge you the earth and the quality isn’t there. Paid a stupid amount to have some root canals and other bits, 2 weeks later my tooth completely brakes away, so a complete waste of money. When Ignored the negativity from this dentist saying turkey will kill your teeth bla bla, it actually turns out all the work they did was done to very poor standard and had to be redone thankfully at a fraction of the price these wanted to rip me off with. Hi get your work checked by another proper dentist and your see. I have all my X-rays and notes to prove this. Never will I return to these. Overall expensive, bad workmanship, and will tell you lies to get you to commit to there eye watering fees. Saved myself 8000 for more work in turkey. Teeth look and feel amazing. Pain was minimal and dentist are proper over there! FACTS!

Fantastic experience: Orion is fantastic, I joined last year and haven't looked back. The first thing that struck me is how pleasant it is when you first walk in with friendly staff, comfortable seating and nice unobtrusive music. The dental care is great, Daniel is clearly excellent at what he does and is very good at explaining everything. Finally, I have had no issues whatsoever in getting an appointment (likely because it's private and not oversubscribed). Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: As a nervous first time private patient I was set at ease from the minute I walked in to make an initial appointment. The receptionist Sarah is delightful, so friendly and helpful. It's a place with a really calm atmosphere (always good) and Dr Michael was professional, friendly and explained what he was going to do (v useful). I also saw hygienist Juliet at my first appointment and she too was professional and friendly and also told me what she was going to do before she did it. I'd give each of the staff members 5 stars and plan to be with them for the foreseeable future.

He was in a severe amount of pain and they managed to see him as the last appointment of the day, get him out of pain and put in place a treatment plan for him. Would highly recommend to all!

But I am so happy that on the recommendation of my friends I visited this clinic. I didn't think my teeth could look so beautiful… Individual approach to each client, everything was clean and neat. Negative experience: Me and my wife both registered as a new patient last year as the reviews were great. Upon registering we've found the dentist was really great but I wasn't happy with the hygienist work as i could still see some plaque/calculus left uncleaned on my wife's teeth. As per the dentist advice, we've booked it for 1 hr for thorough cleaning and really disappointed with the service and price we've paid. We didn't make any complain to the practice and I decided not to use the service anymore as moved somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Firstly I went to see Daniel I think his name is for a check up after not being for over 2 years and having 2 bad experiences with NHS dentists. So I was a little reluctant. He was very kind, very gentle and explained everything as he went along. He suggested I see a hygienist which I was not overly enthralled about but booked the appointment anyway in trust. Today I have been to see Juliet and she was amazing. She talked through everything she was going to do, she was gentle, thorough, kind, knowledgeable and I left there knowing a lot more about looking after my teeth than I have ever known. Fantastic experience: I had a broken tooth fixed several times before I went to see this dentist as I wanted to get crowns to sort out my teeth before I get married in June. I was so pleased to find a dentist that would explain things to me and discuss options around treatments. I had the breakdown of treatment and costs within a couple of days of the first consultation and went ahead with things. I’m really pleased with the result and I can now smile for the photos! Great job and a great service throughout. Highly recommend

I most recently have had a number of teeth capped and was very happy with the result. It is comforting to be in the hands of experienced professional's which is why I travel over an hour to have my treatments done here. Fantastic experience: Relaxing music, a charming and capable dentist, wonderful staff and nice fishes. Dr. Daniel has been honest and professional in redoing my two fillings. After a few days he visited me and told me they needed to be redone, one of the them went off while I was flossing. After redoing them one was slightly high potentially just for some glue and they shortened it very quickly at no extra cost demonstrating great professionalism and pride in their work. I have to be creative to offer a suggestion that could help to increase even further the incredible value they provide to their customers. Investing into a relaxing centre with sauna e Jacuzzi, so that one could also indulge in a bit of pleasure after resolving issues afflicting their oral health, could help to expand and differentiate the business while making more revenues.

Fantastic experience: I needed Root Canal treatment and was very hesitant to get this done as it's obviously a quite serious procedure and I have never had a good experience in any other dentists. I needn't have worried as the second I walked into the surgery, the Staff were super friendly and polite and Dr Philip is exceptionally professional. Every stage of the process was explained to me in advance and also Philip explained what was happening through the process so there were no surprises. I did not feel any discomfort or pain at all. Not what I was expecting! I even got to watch the TV while this was going on :) All in all, a pleasant experience, who else can say that after having a Root Canal? Thank you Dr Philip + Team, you have a new customer.

Fantastic experience: I had a bit of a panic when I found out my dentist had moved as I needed emergency appointment for a chipped tooth. I was glad to find out he is now a new owner of the practice, which is not too far away from me. He shows great care and always explains what options I have and why he recommends the treatment he does. I feel my concerns are listened to and the treatment is of high quality. It is like winning a lottery to find a dentist, who really listens. I have a treatment booked and my entire family will be registering with the new practice soon. We cannot recommend the new owner enough - I'd give him six stars if I could!

I found the whole experience very positive. From the people on reception, the dentist and hygienist, the whole operation was both supportive and professional. Philip Sommereux himself was the most thorough dentist I have ever experienced. He discussed everything with me and made me feel like a customer and confident in the treatment we decided upon. All in all I could not have been happier and I would highly recommend!
