This visit was no different than all of the others apart from the transformation of the interior into a more pleasing and beautiful environment. The staff were welcoming, friendly, communicative, interested and caring. Jack and Laura had my best interests at heart for the two appointments I attended, hygiene work and a my teeth and gums check up.

I had a fantastic experience with Hygienist Laura during my recent cleaning. She was incredibly gentle, thorough, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I sat in the chair. Laura explained each step, checked in often to make sure I was comfortable, and offered great tips for improving my at-home care routine. I left feeling confident in my dental health and genuinely impressed by the professionalism and kindness. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: A patient for over 40 years, originally with James Mehta and now Jack Acorn, this in itself speaks volumes about the practice. It has a lovely family feel, team members who always recognise and welcome me, and whilst I am fortunate to only go bi-annually for check-ups and hygienist appointments, I always feel Jack gives my teeth and mouth a thorough check. I know if there was ever an emergency requiring treatment, I would get seen quickly, which is very reassuring. The reception team, dental nurses and hygienists are a great asset to the practice, kind and friendly, plus easy parking outside and adjoining roads. Currently undergoing refurbishment which will transform the practice even further.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time going to a hygienist. Laura was so friendly and welcoming which made me feel so relaxed. Laura was extremely thorough, talked me through everything that she was doing, gave me good advice. I left very happy and with a noticeable difference to my teeth :)

Negative experience: I went to this dentist after being told by an NHS dentist that I had a tooth infection, but I would have to wait 4 months on the NHS to get it treated. I told the surgery that my trauma level with dentists was a 10 as I have had some very bad issues with my very painful jaw. My dentist was quite jolly and friendly, but I am very concerned that jolliness is not a remedy for trauma. The surgery needs to take their initial questionnaires much more seriously and understand how what they do and say seriously affects their patients. The extract seemed to go smoothly, but afterward I felt very faint and dizzy, and the dentist almost shoved me down the stairs. I then got in the car to go home, but still felt unwell. The post-care from this procedure was non-existent. The dentist told me that I would be sent an appointment for a teeth cleaning. This hasn't happened. He also told me he would contact another dentist who may be able to help with my jaw pain. He didn't. It has been over 4 months now since the procedure, and although my missing tooth has healed well, I feel a complete lack of care and concern for my well-being, and my ongoing painful condition, and a shameful failure to follow up on their commitments.

I had a consultation and it wasn’t cheap but not overpriced for the amount of work I’ve needed. I listened to the dentist and put my trust in his expertise. The dental nurse was so reassuring because I am very nervous patient. I’m about half way though and I’m buzzing with just how happy I am.
