Fantastic experience: My experience is most wonderful with Reem and Khadikah I am very nervous when it comes to the dentist but every time I come she makes feel so comfortable she is best dentist I have seen in a while

Negative experience: Made a complaint to the NHS ombudsman about this practice refusing to perform scale and polish as part of band one NHS treatment. Upheld and the practice guilty of maladministration. I hope the NHS reviews it's NHS contact as a result. Absolutely atrocious dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience with Dr. Dylan today! He was fun to talk to, made me feel completely comfortable, and clearly knows what he’s doing. I never thought going to the dentist could actually be enjoyable, but he made it just that. I’d definitely love to come back—thank you, Dr. Dylan! I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Justin previously for my tooth crown. His work was truly phenomenal, and I am extremely satisfied with the results. Negative experience: I have anxiety and dental Phobia this was my first appointment here at City dental today and the dentist staff have not been considerate with my dental phobia it was meant to be a check up and they was wanting to put tubes in my mouth and gums I hadn’t been told anything about it just thought it was a check up as it’s my first time and I have high anxiety and they said to me if your refusing treatment then your next appointment will have to be in 3 months which is to long as I have problems with my teeth and gums really unhappy how I been treated advice Any one looking into city dental not to come

Fantastic experience: I was registered in less than an hour and they called me to book my appointment straight away. They had availability for the following day. Really friendly reception staff and great dentist. I saw Dr Ayush Laddha who was very thorough and took his time to check my teeth were all okay. Great service. Thank you City Dental Practice!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for a number of years,both private and NHS. The service is always top notch. On my last visit I was told Dr Tanvi Sapre,would be leaving for pastures new. As disappointed as I was to learn this I wanted to take the opportunity to thank Her for Her professional,kind and decent care towards me over these last couple of years,always very indepth with treatment and advice. I'd like to wish Her all the best with Her career in the future. Also well done to the practise for their recruitment with Staff over the years,never had any complaints,always a pleasure !

Negative experience: I’m very disappointed with how things were handled at the clinic. When I called to book the appointment, I was clearly told the fee included both the check-up and X-ray. But during the visit, we were told the X-ray would be charged separately — even though we had already done the same check-up and X-ray before in other clinic. Nothing new was done, no treatment provided — just repeating the same process. On top of that, the doctor mentioned that the referral to the hospital would cost £70. Paying that amount just to be referred again to hospital, without any real intervention or added value, is unreasonable. The whole experience felt like poor communication and unnecessary costs. Not acceptable.

Fantastic experience: A review by Muhammad Mehboob Alam. I recently had dental treatment with Dr. Reem and her assistant Bismah, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. Dr. Reem is the definition of professionalism and precision. She was incredibly thorough, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure I was comfortable at every step. Her approach is meticulous, and you can really tell she cares about both the quality of her work and the comfort of her patients. What truly stood out to me was her empathy and kindness. She treated me not just as a patient, but as a person — which made the whole experience far less stressful than I expected. Fantastic experience: I actually followed my dentist from his old practice.The reception staff are amazing, all so helpful, I Have been Sanjay 's patient for maybe 15 years or more and he started a new journey i would follow him again! I know he has always had my best intentions at all times , I suffer from mental illness and knows sometimes my teeth suffer, he is an absolute joy to see , and yes i may sound like a stalker but i can not thank th whole practice for how I am treated, I also do a payment plan which is worth every penny as i know that when my times comes to visit , i am covered, so thank you so very much the whole team at City Dental !!!

After having dental anxiety in the past, I have always been nervous seeing dentists, but he has been absolutely amazing and has helped me feel so comfortable and happy when attending all my dental appointments. Dr Justin Jannati has a very calming manner when talking and explaining procedures to his patients and would definitely recommend him and the practice to all!!

Negative experience: Won't recommend this dental clinic to anyone. Be really really careful. On 19th August I had gone for one issue and ended up having the worst experience in my life. I kept asking the dr do I really need this filling(which was far away for the root and was in its initial stage)to which she scared me telling if I don't do it now I will end up losing my tooth. No prior consent was taken from me before starting the fillings. Without even taking the front teeth x-rays and ignoring my bleeding gum issue she started of with the filling . Unable to do the filling later she just told me it's because you don't brush properly. Brush them properly and come back on the 3rd Sept. She just made a temporary bulky filling in my front two teeth joined and left me. Later to this incident my husband wrote a mail to the md of the clinic which was not even acknowledge till date. After informing the receptionist I need to book an appointment for the dr I was advised by her to use temporary filling from over the counter till my appointment date as she can't book am early appointment. My Dr was changed . After going thru weeks of depression of the hole in my tooth. I was given a cleaning and my filling was done my Dr Jannati. I still have the stiffness in my front tooth. I feel so sad about this. I don't feel my normal teeth. All this was done under private treatment..Imagine paying money to invite these problems.

Dr. J’s demeanor is nothing short of exceptional—his warmth and professionalism instantly dispelled my anxieties. The nursing staff were equally impressive, offering unwavering support with grace and attentiveness. Their kindness and efficiency made the entire experience seamless and far more pleasant than I could have imagined. The practice itself is a model of modern sophistication, with a serene and immaculate environment that further enhances the level of care provided. Remarkably, I now find myself looking forward to my appointments. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough.

Negative experience: we have been enrolled at this dentist for years and truthfully think they’re awful. starting with their appointments most adults work 9-5 Monday through Friday but they close at 4pm excluding Mon/Tues until 7pm, nevertheless people have childcare commitments and I personally can be working until 8pm on some days, their saturday appointments are reserved for children only. not once has my appointment ever ran on time either, i’ve waited minimum 20-30 minutes almost every time, in the moments we do have free we’re expected to wait and wait. the last check up i had was absolutely terrible, she barely checked anything and due to their x-ray machine not working tried to tell me to come back within 3 months paying another £26 because it wasn’t working. not long after my last appointment i was hounded with phone calls telling me i needed to book in again or i’d be kicked off the system, i had to explain more than once that i’d been for a check up within the last 2 months and to quite literally leave me alone. a few years ago i fell over and broke my teeth and the dentist who redid them did a terrible job, they are extremely poorly shaped, not at all similar in colour, and there is an awful glue stain on the front i have not been able to get rid of leaving me so insecure and barely wanting to smile. i left my appointment so upset and disappointed and now will have to pay the ends of the earth to get them redone by someone who will do a good job. they just don’t seem to care, and unfortunately due to the lack of dental practices not accepting NHS patients currently we are stuck - personally wouldn’t recommend

Fantastic experience: The best dental practice I've had the pleasure to be a customer of! I have crazy anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist and my teeth in general. At 33 years old, I've been through a number of dentists and I can honestly say that Dr Jannati takes the medal in so many aspects. His professionalism, care and bedside manner are on point. From the very first appointment he made me feel at ease and listened to. He took the time to understand my concerns and made going to the dentist much less terrifying, though I still get nervous and sweaty around the tools and panicky around the noise. I started off as an NHS patient and have now taken out the dental insurance plan with them - definitely recommend. Even though the treatments are to be paid for and are pricey to a certain extent, the peace of mind regarding appointments, deep cleans and emergencies is worth the £18 p/m. And oh my word, if you haven't had a deep clean, you want to have one! My teeth looked and felt like new after something so simple. It still petrified the hell out of me, because the cleaning tool sounds horrendous but it is actually very harmless (as the ever so patient Dr Jannati showed to me!) and is like a dog with all bark and no bite. The reception is always clean, the seating area upstairs is more comfortable than the wooden chairs downstairs. The reception team are always very friendly and smiley and feel very welcoming. Same goes for the dental nurses, they always smile when they walk past or when they call my name out. I know it may seem like a small thing but it has a very soothing effect on someone who just wants to run 10 miles in the opposite direction of the building. This dental practice is my no 1 recommendation, especially if you're like me and usually only go to the dentist at the last moment when there's no choice. Going to the dentist should never feel like you're having a panic attack and City Dental is the first dental practice where I no longer feel like that.

Fantastic experience: I am absolutely amazed at the high quality of care I received at this dentistry. Dr. Chandarana was able to save my teeth from root canals and complete my full course of treatment in less than two weeks given the time constraints of my situation. He was vigilant in providing all the necessary medical documentation I required, providing a thorough examination and course of treatment, and in going out of his way to help treat a patient in pain. I was in quite a bit of pain before treatment, but feel significantly better after being treated by him and his phenomenal staff. His nurse, Farheen, was knowledgeable and kind. I could tell she is passionate about her work and helping her patients. I felt that I was in good care by her and Dr. Chandarana whilst I sought urgent dental treatment. The receptionist, Joshua, was also fantastic and happy to help me. In the midst of my pain and stress, Joshua was helpful in getting me scheduled for all my appointments and in diffusing my anxiety about the situation. I felt as though everyone in this office truly cared for their patients and I would happily return to their office for further treatments. If I could give their office 100 stars, I certainly would.

Fantastic experience: Justin is my dentist and I was distressed to hear that the NHS wants him to stop working as an NHS dentist and to start operating privately. I think this is appalling and I, for one, don't want this to happen. I find it very hard, almost impossible in fact, to find a dentist that I am comfortable with and where I don't get any anxiety in going to see. Justin is very patient and takes the time to explain everything he is planning to do and whilst he is doing any work that needs to be done. He also explains the different options available for when I need treatment and the pros and cons of each so I can make an informed decision. He really puts me at ease. He is a credit to City Dental. I am from Coalville, which isn't an affluent town and I can't afford to go privately to Justin, especially with this cost of living crisis we are experiencing at the moment. I fear that if the NHS makes Justin go private, I may end up not visiting the dentist anymore or struggling to pay the private fees to keep up with my dental health with someone I trust completely. I really hope that the NHS reconsiders Thier proposal for Justin at City Dental.

Negative experience: Checked the website for opening times after being asked to come in for a registration form, only to turn up and see a handwritten sign saying closed until 2. Would have been wise for the receptionist to tell me this before I came all the way! Update after business response: Truly great that you accept NHS patients. However all it would have taken was a simple heads up to customers about the closure - I’m sure the Xmas lunch was planned in advance. I spent money travelling all the way in with a baby, only to see the sign on the door despite having spoken to a receptionist prior to this. Especially now, with the lack of acknowledgement about the inconvenience caused, and instead excuses being made, the 1-star rating is reflective of my overall experience so far.

Fantastic experience: Wow, so I had 2 teeth removed yesterday the 4th October and before that I had a deep clean, and wow, I found the staff very professional caring and compassionate, and the treatment received was of very high standard, and any fears I did have with dental treatment was put at rest, the ladies that treated me was very kind and gentle and very professional and the whole process was outstanding, I cannot praise them enough, I have no hesitation in recommending this dental surgery, I am 52 years of age, so I have been to many dental surgerys in my time, but in my opinion this one has to be the best dentist surgery in the whole of Leicestershire.

Which could not have been easy for him, given that I've had a phobia since the age of 7, pursuant to a traumatic experience with a dentist at school. Negative experience: This is my worst experience in seeing a dentist. We are not local people. They didn't help us use an interpreter. Then when taking an X-ray, she put the photo against my upper jaw, which made me unable to bite the photo. It made me very painful. I kept closing my mouth, but the photo was against my upper jaw. Finally, we had to use 3D scanning to successfully take the picture, and then found that my tooth decay was very deep. She said I would go to the hospital to peel my teeth, It takes two years to go to the hospital for tooth stripping. She said she would help me arrange it. Two months later, someone in the hospital will inform me that no one has contacted me for three months now. I am not a local and don't know how to deal with the situation in Britain. But I went to see another dental clinic and she can help me immediately peel my teeth. Then I found that there was a problem in this clinic.
