Fantastic experience: Hilltop Dental provides yet another first class service. Phoned them on Monday at 11.25am with a broken tooth, got an appointment the same day at 3.15pm. Solved my tooth problem and did a routine checkup. Dr Gill was so professional, explained everything clearly and then performed the work required. Thanks

Fantastic experience: Where do I start? This review is going to read like I've been bribed by the staff to write it so well but no. I genuinely don't think I have ever been in a business environment where everyone is doing their job so well, and is considering their clients ie ME, so professionally. From the receptionist, calling me next day, after my 'op' and asking (in great detail, like she was my actual dentist) how each of the procedures went and was I following the correct course of treatment (ok she was probably reading it) but I have NEVER had that before. Now to my dentist, Mr Reza who went through each step of my treatment in great detail before commencing. A consultant (who made time inbetween her job's) also helped, twice! He had also fast forwarded my implant so it was ready when I arrived. From the tooth extraction (that would have really hurt without today's fast acting anesthetic but I digress) to the after treatment information, faultless.

Fantastic experience: As a family of 4, we have been going to Hilltop Dental for years and years. Dr Salh is the best, very knowledgeable, experienced and patient. He takes time to explain the matter, answers the questions and the most important, he gives a proper advice how to look after our teeth. The reception staff and dental assistants are always nice and polite. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: Dr Avani Gill is a clear communicator, I appreciate the professional, succint and factual information she delivers and the partnership in decision making.

Negative experience: Looks like a great dental practice from the outside, but as a new patient, the communication process was lacking. I received only one SMS a week before my appointment requesting me to fill out information online, which was frustrating and inefficient. There was NO email communication at all, which is a missed opportunity for a professional establishment to provide new patients with essential information about their policies and guidelines. On a positive an improved communication for new patients would make a significant difference.

Fantastic experience: For the first time in years I went to a dentist that was so nice and kind. The receptionists were kind in understanding that it was my first time in this country and I struggled to understand the offers. But it was nice, I did a 20 minute session with a female hygienist who made me feel so comfortable. She reassured me and communicated throughout the entire cleaning process. I cannot recommend this practice enough! They were efficient and the facilitates were clean.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant dentist with exceptional staff—from reception to the hygienist team. Casandra, in particular, is outstanding; she’s the best hygienist I’ve ever had. Fantastic experience: I have been going to this dentist since 2022 and they appointed me a new dentist whose name is Dr Bikram Dubb and when I tell you he is one of the best dentist I ever had.I suffer with ongoing dental issues and upon my visit he explained everything that will take place regarding my teeth.He has alot of empathy and compassion and he made me feel real comfortable when he he was extracting teeth from my mouth by resuring me that I am doing a good job and everything will be ok as I was nervous when I entered the room.I never felt anything when he was doing the extraction.I really couldn't believe that he had done working on my mouth as he said he was finished. To be honest I suffered with so much tooth pain for years and was scared to get my teeth fixed but to be honest I know I made the right choice and thank you Dr Bikram for helping me through this process as you work with me to give me a better smile.

Fantastic experience: I have only been going to Hilltop for a short time now but I'm a very nervous patient and am always referred for sedation.last week I had a check up at hilltop and was told I needed a tooth out ,I asked to be referred but this week I was in so much pain that I needed the tooth out.i think the receptionist staff were amazing and put me at ease and the dentist,I think was Mr Dubbs?was second to none,he was fantastic,really professional and very caring,so he has restored faith in my experience,no more sedation for me and thankyou all so much for my amazing experience.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend this place enough. After not visiting a dentist in about 6 years, I contacted this practice by email and had an appointment booked within an hour of enquiring. At the appointment, the dentist noticed I had a cavity that needed filling, and rather than booking another appointment, actually did it on the spot for me. Very friendly staff and I was out within an hour.

Fantastic experience: On arrival at Hilltop you are greeted by friendly and welcoming receptionists. My hygienist Miki has a professional approach yet also listens to any concerns one might have and always offers useful advice to those conditions specific to my condition. Her cleaning is thorough and efficient. Whilst waiting I like the light that often streams into the waiting room, it's relaxing, although I do miss the recent omission of magazines. Hilltop is an excellent practice to be associated with to look after your teeth.

Positive experience: I've been at this dentist for years when it used to be with Doc Morse and since then it's changed hands and had a revamp. I decided to have invisaligns fitted and have to say the service from the staff and my nominated dentist was excellent. He always took into account what I wanted and explained the treatment from start to finish and I've been happy with the results. The only thing I would highlight is that for some patients you may have to have attachments fitted to help the invisaligns work efficiently but when it comes to removing all the attachments, it doesn't leave your teeth as smooth as they were originally. Not that you can physically see anything on my teeth but you can feel it, if your tongue brushes against them. All in all, I am happy with the overall service received.

The service is excellent I had quite a few issues with my teeth and Dr Salh gave me the best advice and treatment, he is a very professional and knowledgeable Dentist with the highest quality and skill set. Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend this dental practice enough. What an excellent team they are! Dr Amrit Salh helped me finish my Invisalign treatment ready for my wedding day! I am quite a nervous patient and from the moment I walked through the door I was greeted by a lovely smile and warm welcome from Vicky this put me at ease straight away. I had a very comfortable and thorough hygienist appointment with Marisia. He also arranged for me to have retainers made, which involved having a 3D scan animation of my teeth with Vicky. I love how many compliments I now get on my lovely smile thanks to you guys! It’s fair to say I did not stop smiling on my big day! Thank you all so much! You are an amazing team and you really can tell how much you care about your work and patients!

Negative experience: Lack honesty and integrity. Very disappointing treatment of new nhs patients (children). First and last time setting foot in this practice (which by the way is not accessible if you use a wheelchair or a baby pram). The reception staff at this practice lack honesty and integrity. They cancelled our appointment to fit in another patient. Then they made up a lie saying we were the ones who called and cancelled it, which never happened. We told them we never cancelled and actually we had a confirmation text with our appointment time and I had also called the practice to confirm the day before. The staff were not apologetic in the least, and went on to book us another appointment at a later date. We have lost trust in Hilltop dental, what is to stop them from cancelling our next appointment after we reach the practice and them making up a lie about how that happened.

Negative experience: Called yesterday to enquire about retainers, the receptionist was extremely rude and entitled on the phone. The practise is cash grabs wanting to charge you £89 to check your teeth for no reason, not even to register you, whilst the service I was after was to change my retainers?! On top of that Vivera retainers were £500 for 3 sets! Never seen that before with any other dental practise, and I have been wearing retainers for the past 10 years. I have now found another practise which doesn't have the silly charge which is going to do my retainers in the next week or so- Vivera , 3 sets for £300 and no stupid fees. Stay away from this practise!

Fantastic experience: I went today with my 10 year old son to get him some filings. My son was quite nervous, but Dr Dubb was very good with him. Dr was very patient and explained everything calmly and professionally. I've been bringing my children here for many years now and have always been pleased with the service.

Fantastic experience: I just finished my treatments with Pentwyn dental practice with I believe dr Gingell and I couldn’t be more impressed, I have AUTISM (which they didn’t know) so dentists prove to be extremely difficult for me sensory wise but dr and the nurse communicated extremely well, were warm, calming and gentle in their approach. Really include you into discussions and did an utmost caring high quality work despite my nervous fidgeting. I have been to various dental practices in my lifetime and none of them have left me feeling safe to come back! 10/10 do recommend!!

Negative experience: Absolutely appalled at how I've been treated by this practice. I emailed to ask if I could book another check up to see another dentist for a second opinion on whether a root canal I'd booked was necessary, as well as getting another filling nearby replaced with white filling at the same time which would have been a private charge on top of the band 2 NHS charge I would've paid. I assumed this band2 charge should be covered as I only had the white filling done in September 2023 and it is now visibly wearing away, therefore I thought this was the reason I now supposedly needed a root canal treatment on the same tooth. I was told on the phone when I chased a reply I could not book anymore appointments until I had spoken to the practice management . I was then emailed whilst at work asking when would be a good time to talk, I couldn't respond as I work in a busy NHS hospital, they then tried to call four hours later and I came home to a reply two hours after the missed call telling me I couldn't book any further appointments with the dentists. When I rang to speak to Leanne, the practice manager they said my email was rude (it wasn't at all) and that none of the dentists wanted to treat me, despite me supposedly having an active infection I'd taken antibiotics for prescribed by the dentist I saw two weeks prior in an emergency appointment. I explained why I thought I was entitled to this particular filling replaced for free and Leanne was very patronising on the phone, she also laughed at me when I explained I have a neurodiversity quite upset and didn't understand the process and kept speaking over me telling me I don't know anything and it's my fault because the decay was so bad "due to diet" when I actually have MS and a loss of power whilst brushing as a result.when I explained I'd asked about it being covered because I'm a disabled customer who doesn't earn much money due to being disabled, she said "oh you're disabled....so you're just trying to get a free filling then". What kind of derogatory attitude is this? To laugh at someone for being neurodiverse and to further insult them making out they want free treatment due to something they can't control....all of this, whilst I remind you, they would have been getting a further £300 odd for a private white filling completed at the same time. I'm an immunocompromised patient on treatment that completely kills my immune system to prevent my MS from getting worse and this is how I've been treated for raising concerns and trying to book with a different dentist to be sure this needed completing and getting the other filling checked and replaced simultaneously if that were the case? I'm majorly prone to infections and serious complications when I do have an infection and they decided to leave me with no dentist and unable to book further appointments. I am so happy I have now found a private dentist with much more competitive prices and will be treated like a human being, not a piece of crap on their shoes. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Update 01/02/24-5.55pm- I visited my new private dentist today who has confirmed I do NOT need a root canal treatment and there is no infection in the tooth root (which hilltop had urged I needed doing as soon as possible) or anything wrong with any of my other teeth, but I have an infection in my gum that needs antibiotics. Walked away with a prescription and a free follow up next week to ensure the infection has been eradicated. She also informed me that majority of the fillings I have had done all by hilltop dental are far too close to my nerve and that I've been "set up to fail", especially being told by hilltop I could replace at any time- because they would all end up being root canals now, and if I had undergone the unnecessary root fillings I'd be looking at potential tooth loss in 10-15 years.

Fantastic experience: The team are amazing, always a warm welcome at Reception and our Dentist is great especially with my 15 year old daughter where she is made to feel at ease and kept fully informed.

I'm always given time by staff to discuss care plans and treatments, which are always well explained. The recently renovated practice is clean and modern. Fantastic experience: We moved to Hilltop after a really bad experience at another dental surgery. The reception staff at Hilltop have always been very welcoming and professional. We have been at Hilltop for a number of years now and have always had a great experience on every visit. My son is autistic and finds going to the dentist very stressful. Today we had our annual check up and the dentist that saw my son made him feel relaxed, calm and happy to have his check up. This is a huge positive for me having a dentist that can make him feel so at ease. The dentist is clean, modern, well equipped and the staff are always friendly. Great dental surgery.

Negative experience: Hilltop Dental experience today. I've been using this dentist for 3 years now and had no issues until today I went to my 6 months checkup to find the waiting room upstairs had been converted to another dentist room and waiting area is now three seats. See pics Surely this is a health and safety, what about COVID regulations still on place and is it breach of planning ? I asked to speak to the practice manager this question these Response it's only a waiting area for a few minutes and we had no complaints. She told me I had a choice and should had come downstairs When I explained her I was not aware of any choice as the room downstairs was already packed, plus if I just come down the dentist would thought I was a no show. Also at no time was I was informed of this option when I arrived where i was just shocked to find a corridor as a meeting room The practice manager was completely unprofessional who continued to discuss in a public area. I had to ask to discuss this in private where she stropped upstairs and she told me again it's only a room and there has never been any complaints I asked her where the complaints forms and policy she would not answer. She said we are dealing a high number of customers so it's not a problem and never had been a problem. So what I'm asking is not a complaint then? I asked her so it's profit over customer service with lack of health safety as surely that space is in breach of building regulations? She then said well if I don't like it find another dentist and left the room. Hilltop dentist state customers are at the forefront on the website ,yet the practice manager tells customers to find another practice when to ask a question or raise a concern Complaints are not getting logged or documented as the practice manager doesn't log or respond. If she has to deal with the face to face she tells them we got a backlog of customers and if you don't like it find somewhere else. Any enquires re complaints are also getting deleted.

Fantastic experience: I've had two visits to this dental practise so far, and they've both been so positive. Not only are you welcomed by the reception desk, the great customer service is carried forward by the dentists too, and they're very thorough and professional in their work. My tooth didn’t want to come out so a couple of dentists needed to do it and every step of the way they was so lovely . Fantastic experience: I've been going to Hilltop dental since I was a baby. I've had all my treatment there and recently had a wisdom tooth and another tooth removed. I can honestly say the staff and dental team are amazing at what they do. I was very nervous going into it and they calmed me down alot. They even phoned me the following Monday to check on how I was doing post surgery. A lovely dentist to have treatment with.

Fantastic experience: Nervous patients please read… I cannot rate this dentist enough I have the MOST major phobia of the dentists and I hadn’t visited one for over 15 years. My partner had to have a tooth removed so I plucked up the courage and stepped inside the dentist after all them years to try and face my fear head on. Everyone that worked there down to the reception staff to the hygienist and dentists were amazing with me, to the point I finally booked myself in for a check up. My dentist I visit is called Dr Amrit Salh and my hygienist is called Marisa. I would like to thank them both so much for helping me get over this fear. If you are nervous like me I would recommend them both, a friend of mine who has a fear of the dentist is now also using them. I feel that comfortable with this dental practice after having serval hygiene appointments and even a filling done. Fantastic experience: Called up for an emergency appointment and got offered one straight away. The girls on reception are lovely, and the Dr Salh and his nurse were very gentle. Fantastic experience: I recently went to Hilltop Dental Practice last week. I was impressed with the outstanding service and treatment. I was seen by the dentist Dr Banwait. I was nervous but was put completely at ease throughout the complex treatment. The treatment was explained fully to me in detail by Dr Banwait and the level of care given was exceptional. I would highly recommend this dental practice and Dr Banwait. The nurses were very supportive and efficient too Thank you all so much
