Fantastic experience: No one likes going to the dentist, but the staff at Nethergate Dental Practice are so pleasant and communicative that it makes every appointment a breeze. The practice is clean, organised and professional and the range of plans on offer allow more affordable checkups and cleanings than I have seen elsewhere. 5 star practice, 5 star treatment, 5 star staff :)

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff that put me at ease. Dr Rajitha gave very good aftercare advice and I had a calm, pain-free extraction of my impacted wisdom tooth with only local anaesthetic. Will definitely return for cleaning and check-ups.

Negative experience: Husband had a terrible stinging/flushing face due to the powder that was left all over him after a dental hygienist appointment. He was not given advice or warned that the powder could cause a reaction. Three emails and several phone calls later and they are still refusing a refund. This was not a pain free procedure. Very disappointed considering the premium prices. Update After further phone calls we were told to write a letter of complaint and post it to them. Finally this resulted in a refund.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous team here. You are made welcome from the receptionist and all the clinical team treat you with kindness and are non judgemental. I would highly recommend the practice to anyone and if you have dental phobias then even more so as this is definitely the right place for you.

Fantastic experience: Wow!! I recently had composite bonding done at Nethergate Dental Practice, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Dr Sarah Idris and her team were absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel really comfortable and at ease. Both receptionists Isla and Melissa are fantastic, so welcoming and very helpful! Definitely not your average dental practice! Sarah's expertise and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire process. The composite bonding procedure was painless and the results exceeded my expectations. Even at the trial smile stage I was really impressed! I was very self conscious about my anterior open bite and lopsided smile, and although it’s not a permanent fix Sarah has corrected this very well with composite bonding. My teeth now look natural and beautiful, and I can't stop smiling! Down the line I will look at Invisalign. Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic. From the girls at reception Melissa and Isla , to the girls in the treatment room. Lindsey my hygienist. Rhea , Marley and of course the fantastic Sarah my dentist. Very helpful when I had any questions about my treatment. Was very looked after. Sadly I can’t give 6 stars on the rating (i would if I could) always feel like I’m treated like a person when I attend Nethergate dental practice and not a number. Outstanding care , highly highly highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I attended the practice to get my silver filling changed to a white one. I was warmly welcomed by the front of house team immediately making me feel more at ease. I was seen by the amazing Dr.Idris who talked me through the whole procedure and made it all pain free! Her lovely assistant Marli even gave me a neck pillow and a blanket from their comfort menu. Cannot recommend this practice enough. Thank you to all the lovely team!

In short, I wouldn't travel from central Fife to Dundee if the professional care and attention I receive wasn't anything less than first class. Sarah & the practice manager have put together a very good team which starts at the front desk team with M & I who genuinely want to help patients, which then extends to Sarah's dental assistances who are all first class. My teeth were very bad I never wrnt to a dentist in over 10 years, due to extreme anxiety and fear and now because of this dentist I no longer have anxiety or any fear. Isla is lovely they all are. Rhea is assistant with my dentist both very lovely, never judged me once very clearly explain to me what's happening, I couldn't be any more happier and comfortable will forever be thankful I've found the best dentist. Fantastic experience: We are new patients here and it was a 1st Class Experience. Friendly, efficient service from Isla the receptionist. Then great service from Dr Mukerji and her assistant. She explained everything she was doing and I was relaxed and in good hands. She was friendly and professional. The surgery was immaculate, clean and modern. An excellent first impression and I would definately recommend this practice.

Went back today and didn’t even really feel the injection, like total magic. After she’s fixed the current issue I may consider going regularly as I almost trust her (lol!) and trust me that’s a BIG thing for me to say!

Fantastic experience: This a very good dental practice. Reception staff are friendly, helpful and efficient, so too were the dental assistants. The dentist, Sarah Idris, thoroughly examined my teeth (due to Covid this hadn't been done properly for a long time), explained clearly what treatment was required and, a few weeks later, carried this out. She was kind, and most of all, did what was necessary - several fillings - with no pain and little discomfort. What more could I ask for?

Fantastic experience: What an amazing team, from my first phone call they could not of been more helpful and calming. Rohini and her lovely assistant were just so kind and considerate that I trusted them immediately to carry out the appropriate treatment and get me pain free. The procedure itself, an extraction was pain free and the anaesthesia was a walk in the park with the use of numbing gel beforehand, not sure why other dentists don't offer this as this would alleviate a lot of distress from anxious patients. Thank you so much, I would have no hesitation using this practice again.

Fantastic experience: I chipped a tooth on vacation while here in Dundee. After calling around all day, Nethergate Dental was able to accommodate the next morning. She fixed my tooth with a permanent filling and to top it off, I experienced no pain at all. I actually kept holding on to the chair arms waiting for the pain from the needle and I never even felt the pinch. Saved my tooth from further damage if I had to wait until I got back home and saved my vacation. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I had to undergo an extraction and was very very nervous, due to a horrible experience I had with a different dentist. However all my fears were laid to rest when I had an extraction carried out by Sarah. She immediately explained what she was going to do. After successfully numbing and freezing the area, she took out the tooth with ease. Throughout the procedure she asked if I was ok and kept me informed of her progress. Within minutes the tooth was extracted cleanly. I was very impressed with her skills and kindness. I would recommend the practice and Sarah as the whole process was pain free.
