Fantastic experience: First class hygiene treatment received today after a two year bad experience of continued cancelled appointments by the practise .

Negative experience: Why are fillings at this dental practice failing? I've had countless fillings which have fallen out within an hour to a week! I've also heard from a few members of staff that this female dentist no longer works from this practice.Another worrying factor about this dental practice is the high turn around of staff, its as bad as shafting the NHS patients who now have to go private.

Positive experience: Excellent service. Staff very helpful. Limited NHS treatments and rather long waiting lists. Private treatment is first class if you can afford it. Recently got appointment in 2 days.

Fantastic experience: High tech professional practice. Very helpful staff. Made a really smooth and clean implant. It was all over before I knew it. Very little pain afterwards.

Fantastic experience: Had a serious dental emergency one week ago before Christmas. My registered dentist offered no resolution and a very delayed treatment plan. After one panicking phone call CQ had an emergency appointment and treatment plan arranged within 48 hours.

Fantastic experience: Always found it very friendly environment. Receptionists are courteous and helpful. Marie-Louise my usual dentist really takes the time to put her patients at ease. She discusses options of how to achieve best possible outcome for your care plan. I have utter confidence that everything suggested is in my best interests and she executes plan very professionally at all times. I have no hesitation in recommending her as dentist for all ages. Whether it be me at the senior end or grandchildren from age of 2yr she has the patience and understanding so that a visit to the dentist is not a dread. I have visited in severe pain and job done quickly and to high standard. I'm bit of a coward with needles which Marie-Louise is aware of and handles very well but recently visited AdeesAhmed for treatment and was a bit apprehensive as he was unknown to me. My fears were completely unfounded and he also had wonderful patience with my fears. He is fantastic at administering anesthetics slowly and carefully. I now know, I'm in good hands with two of the dentists in this practice. I can wholeheartedly recommend giving this practice a try.

Negative experience: Got a root canal done here, knew something was off when she rushed it, experienced swelling, pain and infection after. Tried for over a year to make an appointment only to be told basically that they couldn’t help me and then they suddenly go private. I email them my issue and they told me that I can book an appointment to see what’s the problem, but when I call to book, they tell me to pay up because I’m not a customer. I get they went private but come on. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY!! Went to a professional who done an x-ray, to be told that this dentist didn’t even fill in the root, they just half done it and covered it up! Which is the reason for the massive abscess I have. I understand root canals don’t last forever, and I wouldn’t mind paying to get it redone but only if the reason is because I needed to, not because they didn’t do it right the first time!

Fantastic experience: My dentist Rachel is fab. Have seen couple of other dentist who felt didn't care but Rachel does seem to care is is fab with me. Overall this dentist surgery is good. Always made to feel comfortable and relaxed even if getting a tooth out.

Negative experience: Fillings fall out after a couple of months. Wait three months for an appointment. Asked to book another appointment after my initial appointment but told that could not be done but 45 minutes would be time to deal with toothache. Arrived 5 minutes before my appointment. Waited 25 minutes to be told today was only for a check up and another long wait before treatment. If that doesn’t deserve a bad review what does.

Positive experience: Nothing wrong with the dentist, but I've been waiting for eight weeks with two crowns falling out all the time and it was an emergency appointment. The system is broken and he could only put them in with temporary amalgam .

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient with your clinic for around 8/9 years now and I was recommended to yourselves by another few patients, and so I would love to recommend you to anyone who is in need of treatment. I did in fact recommend you to my cousin who was just about to pay almost double with another clinic. Being a private patient and so she called the clinic to schedule her treatment and was seen almost immediately. I personally have been very grateful for the service you provide and my 3 dentists who I have seen over the years have taken great care of me. Fantastic experience: First time at the clinic, everyone very friendly. My dentist was excellent, I am usually very nervous and anxious especially as I knew I was getting a filling. The numbing injection was painless, and my dentist explained everything she was doing. Once the numbness had worn off, I was surprised that there was no pain at all, even the next day I felt no pain or sensitivity. Previous experiences with dentists left my mouth feeling bruised/sore.

Negative experience: Been with Matina for years, she is nice. However after covid they didn't send out check up reminders and when I asked for check ups for my children's teeth I was told they weren't doing them. I was concerned about my sons teeth and managed to get him looked at a year ago. Finally in July tried to make check ups for my other 2 and couldn't get an appointment until October which was just cancelled with no explanation and told could only be rescheduled at the end of November and that would be their last appointment as she is going private! So if you prefer NHS and a dentist you can see in a short time frame go elsewhere I guess.

Fantastic experience: Matina is a great dentist and I have never felt any discomfort following an appointment with her. She is efficient, calm and makes me feel at ease. There is always good communication between Matina and the nurses. Could almost say I enjoy my dental appointments !

Fantastic experience: I was seen at short notice after breaking a molar and was very happy to receive a composite filling which is holding so far. To add an update, the filling was put in on the Monday and came out again on Thursday while we are on holiday in Norfolk.

Negative experience: Used to be a great setting but unfortunately professionalism has went downhill. They ignore emails when raising concerns. From rude staff, judgemental, accidental swearing on the phone, over charging and waiting weeks on a refund, several appointments cancelled, the list goes on. Just not the same anymore and on the hunt for a new practice!

Fantastic experience: Needed a scan to help make an anti snoring device - they kindly fitted me on as an extra and was seen the next week. Much appreciated, and very reasonable rate for the service. Barbara seemed friendly and highly competent.

Negative experience: Dentists are okay, but on the phone I was told they don't do NHS scale and polish anymore and was told to book a private one with them for 4X the cost. I show up and I hear them on the phone offering people NHS scale and polish for a reasonable price

Fantastic experience: I’ve always been a tad dental phobic - had a bad experience as a teenager. Joined City Quay dental practice and have had Rachel Dack caring for my teeth for the past few years. She’s so professional and supportive that not only have I been able to have an extraction without sedation I also decided to take the big step and have composite bonding done on 20 teeth. The procedure also involved replacing old fillings at the front of my mouth with white ones and although it took over 5 hours from beginning to end, I now have a smile to be proud of. I’ve been grinning like a Cheshire Cat since it was done, I absolutely love how natural they look despite being so white. Teeth are so ageing and I had stopped smiling with my teeth in photos but that’s all about to change! I can’t recommend Rachel highly enough, if you’re nervous she’s a dentist you can truly trust and if like me you have reached a point in your life where you want to treat your smile to a makeover just go for it! This photo was the first ‘toothy’ selfie I’ve taken in months, literally ten minutes after my composite bonding was completed.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of this surgery for a few years now, and can honestly say that the treatments I’ve had have been amazing. When you enter the premises the staff are very welcoming and polite, I had to get a massive filling today, and I must say my new dentist was amazing as was her assistant. Well done everyone.
