Negative experience: I'm really disappointed with how this clinic handles their Invisalign promotions. The offer they advertise is very misleading. When I looked closely at the proposed treatment plan, the prices were simply rearranged to make it look like there was a discount. When you compare the final total cost with their normal pricing (when no ‘promotion’ is running), it comes out exactly the same. The discount is about as visible as the Invisalign itself. There is no real saving just different line items adjusted to create the illusion of a deal. The staff themselves are unable to explain the discount when asked about it. I have to say this is very poor management. Prioritising profit over integrity. What other corners are being cut? How else is this clinic deceiving their patients? Not only is this false advertising scheme highly unethical under GDC standards it is also a breach of the consumer protection from unfair trading regulations 2008. I expected transparency, especially for something as expensive as Invisalign, but this is extremely dishonest and I can not trust this clinic. If you are comfortable lying to your patients it’s a slippery slope from there and I would never expect this from somewhere providing healthcare. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was fitted with Invisalign clear aligners & following the successful conclusion of this process I had composite bonding applied to some of my teeth. Every stage of the procedures was explained to me & I felt that an outcome that I would be satisfied with was as important to the dentist (Dr Jappy Sond) as it was to me. Negative experience: Having had several thousand pounds worth of Invisalign treatment with James a few years ago and been happy with the results, I subsequently moved my regular dentistry appointments to the practice and committed to a monthly plan at a cost of £264 per year. My package included two annual dental appointments and two hygiene appointments, which I’ve booked consistently since, 6 months ahead. My two star review relates to the numerous short notice appointment cancellations I’ve experienced, since starting the plan, and more specifically, the appalling attitude of Amy Eadie, the practice manager. When my most recent appointment was cancelled, yet again, at the end of October, I decided that I had no option but to find another practice who I could rely on to not regularly cancel and not imply they were doing me a favour by offering to reschedule. After all, I was paying for a service with an expected customer service standard and it wasn’t being delivered. Having since contacted the practice to express my dissatisfaction with their service and subsequently registering my dental care with York Dental Suite, I had to wait almost a week for Amy to bother to reply to my numerous messages. When she finally did, she advised me that, “she doesn’t return phone calls because she’s too busy running two practices.” Customer service and patient satisfaction clearly aren’t two of her priorities! We’ve since exchanged a number of emails, in my attempt to get a refund, and her attitude and professionalism has been consistently appalling. I really couldn’t justify giving this practice any more of my loyalty or money and I’m sadly out of pocket having had my £132 refund request for my last 6 monthly payments with no appointments rudely denied. I felt obliged to leave this review so that others are aware of the standards and attitude I’ve experienced from the practice manager.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. As the practice manager, I take comments regarding professionalism and service standards seriously. I feel obliged to respond to your review and provide further clarification to the statements you have made. Firstly please accept my apologies that you felt my attitude and proffessionalism had been consistentently appalling throughout my corrospondance with you. My priority for communication is that it is always conducted professionally and respectfully.
With regard to your requests to speak to me over the phone, our records show that multiple calls were made within a short timeframe over a couple of days. While managing practice operations including staff and patient care, calls were not intentionally ignored, and responses were handled in line with our procedures. As I had previously explained to you, I am not able to return calls personally due to the demands of my role as a manager of two practices within the Blossom group.
Appointment changes, while regrettable, are sometimes unavoidable in clinical settings and are managed with patient care and safety as the priority. The characterisation of staff attitude and professionalism in this review does not accurately reflect our records, our conduct, or our usual standards of service.
A sincere apology was provided to you with the explanation of the diary closure was due to reasons beyond our control. Membership plans and refunds are administered in accordance with the agreed terms, which were applied consistently in this case. In addition, we had tried to give as much notice as possible and offer alternative arrangements of dual appointments for your dental exam and hygiene maintenance visits that have been declined by yourself.

Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment today with Jess. She took time before hand to listen to my sensitivity concerns and adapted the clean to suit my comfort levels. She talked through future changes to the equipment that will help relieve my sensitivity during the hygiene appointments and showed me how to use an elec toothbrush to prevent any future gum recession. Overall, a lovely experience and was nice to be listened to. Thank you

Negative experience: Wouldn't recommend for Invisalign treatment. Almost impossible to get through to the reception team. I noticed when I was in the reception they keep the telephones on silent (no idea why). Found dentist Fahad to be quite rude and has a bad attitude, didn't actually trust him working with my teeth, seems very inexperienced and forgets he is working with someone's one set of teeth - feels like he does a bad job so he can do more work and make more money -I asked to move to a different dentist but was told I couldn't. It just has a very fake atmosphere as soon as you arrive. If you want an 'instagram' type treatment go here, but if you want a professional dental treatment go elsewhere. They are only here for profit.
Hi Caroline, it is disappointing to read of your google review and that we have not been given the opportunity to listen or address your concerns about aspects of your care. Please be reassured that although our phonelines are on ‘silent mode’ for the comfort of our patients in the nearby waiting area, our front of house team does get alerted when the phone is ringing. We also carry out daily reporting for any missed calls so we can call any that have been missed within the same day.
It is difficult to provide additional comments to ones you have raised within here, but we would welcome you to contact the practice allowing us listen to your concerns and provide you with further answers to your queries.
Fantastic experience: I see Japkirat Sond at this practice. He is a very conscientious man. Very kind and helpful. He is very good at communications. He is working on my teeth at the moment and I trust him totally which is a lot for me to say as I am terrified of dentists. He is also a perfectionist. I feel very safe with Japkirat.

I’ve been with Blossom Clinic for a while now and every visit has been pleasurable and a breeze. The clinical staff are knowledgeable and kind, the receptionists are fun and friendly: everyone will go out of their way to make sure you are feeling comfortable and welcome. They welcome questions and make sure you’re fully informed and satisfied every step of the way. James took care of me a couple of times now, and he truly comes across as confident, reliable and efficient. Abi in reception is a star, always cheerful and goes out of her way to accommodate customers, taking her time time to answer questions and going over several options when it comes to finding a date/time that’s best suitable for your next clinical appointments. Katie was assisting James on my latest appointment, and she too was lovely and kind. They really take the time to listen to you, and won’t push you into any treatments you’re not comfortable with, rather they’ll help you find an alternative route. 10s across the board :) Xx

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Blossom Cosmetic Clinic. Having had a damaged and discoloured front tooth all my adult life I have never been happy with my smile. I decided to have something done about it. Initially I had a chat with Jappy, my dentist, who suggested either a new composite filling or a veneer. Both procedures and the . cost were described very thoroughly and I was given time to make a decision without feeling under any pressure to have either. Once I decided to go ahead with a veneer every step was thoroughly explained as the process progressed. I am thrilled with the outcome, the veneer is a great match to my own teeth. I wish that I had done it sooner as I now just want to smile at everyone!

Positive experience: I was extremely happy with my consultation this morning, the level of knowledge & information provided was excellent, full transparency about all the procedures required & timeframes. Not requiring finance, a payment on treatment was provided & agreed, however on booking the next required appointment, in 5 months time, a payment of 50% was required. Why? No equipment was needed to be purchased in advance, no costs would be incurred to the practice. I'm not in the habit of 'funding' clinicians to practice. Having already seen another dental implant specialist, who does not insist on any upfront payments, I will be placing my trust ( & money) in another provider.

Fantastic experience: I visited Jess the hygienist for the first time and I was so impressed. I normally find my hygienist appointments really uncomfortable and need injections to be numbed. Negative experience: Really poor customer service. The receptionist was rude and the dentist unpleasant. The whole experience made me feel uncomfortable, which was disappointing. I wouldn't recommend.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a hygiene appointment here and it was one of very few I have had since I was previously an NHS patient. I was welcomed warmly by the team as always! The hygienist I had, Jess, was new to me but she was kind, comforting and knowledgeable, offering some brilliant advice and tips. Well done Jess, outstanding customer service (and yes, I have kept up the routine you suggested! ).

Breaking up my appointments for each procedure to spread the cost over several months has made it so much easier financially. The reception staff are always welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure (can anyone say that about visiting the dentist) of a trip to Blossom St dentist to see Jess the hygienist. She has amazing, along with her dental nurse. She was incredibly thorough with my clean and I had an expert lesson in how to floss and which Tepe toothpicks I should use. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had my first ever Hygiene Appointment at Blossom Cosmetic Clinic today and it was great! Hygienist Jess was extremely informative during the appointment, always informing me on how I can improve my current dental hygiene routine and how to intervene early with any potential issues. Negative experience: This clinic mislead me and refused to refund my £100 consultation fee. I was offered a refund immediately after my consultation at the front desk as I explained how I felt mislead, this was in front of all of the people waiting to be seen. A card machine was even presented to me for the refund, only I did not have my card and was told not to worry and to just call when I got home. On calling for my refund was refused! I guess the lack of an audience made it easier for them to screw me over. I went for a consultation to have a simple procedure carried out, I was advised I had to pay a £100 consultation fee and at this I did express my concerns as I had no idea of the overall cost and I am on a tight budget. I was told that it would be £195, however on arrival it jumped to being over double the cost. It turned out there was a compulsory, none optional fee of £135 that they had failed to disclose and the treatment was going to cost more in general than expected. I argued that the £135 should have been disclosed prior to the booking, as I was clearly feeling apprehensive about the overall cost. They were fumbling with the pricing on the computer during the consultation itself, which made me lack confidence and it felt like they were just making things up and pushing buttons on the computer to get a price. A price that kept changing and increasing. Then they tired to spin it as though I had £100 off, due to the consultation fee. As though they were doing me some sort of favour!!!!! Sorry, but I still paid £100. I was happy to pay the £195 and even slightly more for the increased treatment cost, but once they added the compulsory charge it had almost doubled I had to walk away. Absolute scam artists, I hope you feel ashamed! Avoid!
