After a thorough periodontal assessment, Dr. Leticia Casanova created a clear and structured treatment plan, which included a gum graft. I had several anti-inflammatory treatments with Dr. Nazira Hossainian, who was fantastic, and later proceeded with the gum graft surgery performed by Dr. Casanova. The results have been amazing - the graft is healing beautifully, and I can already see and feel a huge improvement in my gums and overall oral health. Highly recommend LPID - everyone at the practice is wonderful!

Fantastic experience: Tuesday, 7th October 2025 I had a problem with throbbing around a bottom molar. On Monday morning I phoned the Dental Clinic in Streatham. The receptionist was able to accommodate me with a consultation on that same morning. An appointment was booked with Dr Tara Jain. This dentist examined my tooth and explained the options for treatment in a clear, precise manner. As a result, I took her advice and proceeded with an extraction of the affected tooth. This procedure was done almost immediately after administering anaesthetic. I am grateful to the receptionists who saw my need, for the prompt treatment, and for the perseverance of the dentist to get the job done without inflicting pain. I shall definitely recommend Dr Tara Jain and Dental Beauty Clinic, to family and friends. Thank You for your professional services.

Fantastic experience: I totally recommend this place for all your dental needs. Not only was I treated well but, they certainly did a fine good job with my molar root canal. I was not in any pain whatsoever and everything went pleasantly well. I traveled all the way from California as my British friend in San Clemente who’s from London had been here before. I am not from England, but I traveled here because I had heard really good things about this clinic. She was very understanding and attentive to details. Through the whole process she took me seriously. If something needed to be corrected, she happily did that to make sure that I left the clinic 100% satisfied. Fantastic experience: I wouldn't hesitate to recommend coming to LPID over every other dentist I've ever been to. I've had just about everything done, from a gum graft to a the restoration of over 7 fillings (due to poor dental work performed by other dentists), a new retainer fit and dental hygiene work, and I've never met such a bunch of talented dental practitioners. Dr Leticia's Gum Graft wasn't nearly as scary as I thought it would be. It's healed really nicely. Dr Kimberley's attention to detail and ability to do extremely finicky work is incredible. They're both amazing listeners, and I've got no doubt it'll all last many years to come. They're all also very lovely and wonderful - I'm an extremely anxious patient with a lot of dental trauma, and I've come away feeling absolutely fine too.

I cannot express enough gratitude to Dr. David Holmes and his exceptional team for guiding me through one of the most challenging dental journeys imaginable. Restoring my top main front tooth was a complex and emotional process, and their skill, patience, and care have changed my life. My case was particularly intricate due to an accident I suffered at the age of four, which caused significant damage to the root of my permanent front tooth. Over the years, I underwent multiple root canals to salvage the tooth, but ultimately, the damage was too severe. When I first saw Dr. Holmes, the infection was not only affecting this tooth but had spread to the adjacent front tooth, creating an extremely complicated situation. Dr. Holmes and I made the difficult decision to extract the damaged front tooth during the treatment to get rid of the infection. This was not an easy choice, as it was the centrepiece of my smile, but Dr. Holmes took great care to ensure I was never left without a tooth. From the beginning, he provided me with a temporary bridge solution that maintained the appearance of my smile throughout the entire grafting and implant process. Knowing I could still smile with confidence, even during treatment, made all the difference for me. My treatment required two surgeries to remove the infection which was severe, two rounds of bone grafting, two rounds of gum grafting, and eventually, the placement of a dental implant. It was a long and complex process, especially given my history of frequent infections and years of antibiotic use, but Dr. Holmes and his team were with me every step of the way. The entire team went above and beyond to make this experience as seamless as possible. They were incredibly flexible, accommodating my frequent travels abroad, and ensuring my treatment remained on track. Gemma and all the receptionists, were always kind, understanding, and proactive in coordinating appointments around my hectic schedule. Dr. Leticia, who carefully managed my gum health, provided outstanding care and attention to detail. I am also deeply grateful to Dr. Kimberley, who initially evaluated my case and referred me to Dr. Holmes, they are all colleagues from NYU. It was clear from the start that her recommendation was the right one. A special thank you to Irina and Eszter, the dental nurses, whose unwavering support and kindness during each surgery and treatment step made a difficult process so much easier. Fantastic experience: I don’t usually leave reviews, but seeing as I chose to go to LPID based partly on the reviews that I read, it’s only right that I leave one myself. I contacted LPID a couple of weeks ago because I’d been experiencing inflammation and occasional bleeding around one of my dental implants for over a year. I’d been advised by my usual dentist/hygenist that this wasn’t unusual and that I should visit the hygenist more often and floss as high as I could into the gums. This advice didn’t seem right to me and the problem didn’t go away, so I decided to find a specialist. I found LPID through research / reading reviews. It was the best decision I could have made. In the first session with Dr Holmes the problem was identified and clearly explained (peri-implantitis). A treatment plan was put in place immediately and I’ve already had a significant chunk of the work completed. Due to all of the issues I’d been having with my implants, I’d developed a lot of anxiety around going to the dentist, but I can honestly say that Dr Holmes and the rest of the team completely put me at ease. Dr Holmes’s professional expertise is very apparent and very reassuring; everything is explained clearly and the treatment is carried out quickly and effectively. In addition to this, the patient is made to feel listened to, safe and respected. I think this combination of professional expertise and genuine empathy is what really makes LPID special. I have no hesitation in recommending them and I’m very grateful for the reviews that persuaded me to contact them in the first place.

Fantastic experience: I went for a consultation and I was heard thoroughly regarding all the concerns I had... Doctor Holmes was patient, listened veery well was interested to know my experiences and concerns was very gentle and detailed and was happy to explain everything about his diagnosis with a lot of patience. If money isn't a thing this will be the place. If you are on a budget not so much.

Negative experience: I decided to go back and change my review... I had a horrific experience, centred on medical gas lighting and mind games. If you are looking for a simple implant, go to this clinic, if you have an extensive work done that requires advanced expertise, run away from this clinic. After preparing for an implant, I experienced sever pain that last weeks. The doctor kept telling me, "relax, it is all in your head. In fact, if you focus on your leg, and think there is pain there, you will experience pain." Because he didn't know the cause of the pain, he kept blaming me and mental health, trying to convince me, that the pain is a figment of my imagination. What was mostly inflammatory, was his erroneous conclusion that I am addicted to pain killers. This statement has completely shattered me and sent me in a cycle of panic. After checking with several consultants, i knew he was wrong and unfit to make such a conclusion. I left the practice and completed my care elsewhere. I also decided to file a complaint against the practice and will be pursing legal action.

Fantastic experience: I first came to LPID when I felt my usual dentist wasn't taking my concerns seriously. I was apprehensive putting my trust in a new dental practice but I needn't have worried. Dr Casanova identified the problem and went to work fixing it quickly. My gums are healthier and happier thanks to her. The advice I've had has also really improved the way I look after my teeth at home. The consultations/reviews are very thorough and you never feel rushed - especially for a patient like me who has lots of questions! A range of treatment options and costs are given and you never feel like they're on the 'Hard Sell'. The care feels very patient-led. Fantastic experience: I have always found it difficult to trust dentists because of a few bad experiences. DR Holmes put me at ease straight away and gained my trust when he explained what treatment i needed. He is a perfectionist and i believe the treatment is the best you can get.

Negative experience: Overall experience is below average. Staff are good but It is over priced. The initial Periodontal consultation cost £180 and treatment cost £350 per quadrant, they will ask you to do two or three section if not four for the cost £1400 which is way too expansive by any scale. So simply know before you commit your £180 consultation fee that treatment is not reasonable.

Dr Casanova clearly explained the options, was open, professional and made me feel at ease. I was seen and treated quickly. The after-care felt personalised and attentive. Fantastic experience: It's quite daunting to look online for a periodic clinic in London but I had the luck of choosing LPID and come into contact with Dr. Casanova and her team. She is incredibly competent and not only did she address my condition but she also educated me in terms of my problems and empowered me to take control of my dental health. Fantastic experience: I'm a squeamish dental patient with sensitive teeth who arrives at a dentist and hygienist anticipating sharp shooting pains at every turn. This has not been my experience at London Periodontics. Dentist David Holme is very understanding, accommodating with state of the art equipment operating with a gentle hand as is hygienist Monica who successfully cleaned my teeth pain free. I can't recommend either of them high enough. I've no reason to look elsewhere for dental care.
