Fantastic experience: I actually like him. He doesn't try and get extra money by recommending things you don't need (like an x-ray for no apparent reason as my last dentist did). Yeah he tells you straight if you don't clean your teeth good enough, he isn't rude he's just honest and straight to the point.

Negative experience: Will not be ever returning took my son for a emergency appointment and the dentist made me feel like I was the worst Mum in the world for my son having fruit it's sugar in a fancy bag as he said rolling his eyes downgrading me to then say for your son to have 6 slowly rotting teeth says enough about your parenting he's just turned 6. Far from professional and from the other reviews doesn't seem like he gives a rats arse about how he degrades people neither (Worse than Willy Wonkas Father).

Negative experience: He missed half of my filling that he done he said one more filling after this then I was done and there was no way that there was one more to do and he was done because Ive got a tiny hole on the front of my one tooth and another on my back tooth etc and he wasn’t even gonna sort those out so I stopped going I think if I paid he would have done all of the ones that needed sorted and done a good job

Fantastic experience: Amazing dentist, everyone is super friendly and greets you with a smile. Don’t listen to the low reviews; if you have bad teeth, Dr Hastings will tell you that straight; he doesn’t sugarcoat it. Looks like most of the bad reviews are from people that can’t handle being told the truth. High-quality work every time I’ve seen him. I highly recommend.

Negative experience: I'm extremely disappointed with the care I received from Dr Hastings After a filling procedure, I returned with significant pain, only to be told that extraction might be necessary. What's alarming is that this potential outcome was never discussed during the initial consultation. I feel misled and frustrated by the lack of transparency and communication. The suggestion of extraction felt like a threat rather than a considered treatment option. Given the concerns I have about my treatment, I will be seeking further action through relevant governmental bodies to ensure that my rights as a patient are protected. I hope that future patients will be better informed about potential risks and outcomes. Unfortunately, my experience was subpar, and I would caution others to seek a second opinion before proceeding with treatment.

Fantastic experience: Had 2 rotten back teeth everyone kept telling me they couldn't get them out at it was a hospital job .The 2 teeth kept getting infected and made my breath smell. The doctor here was great. Spent a day trying to get them out with no luck due to me still feeling everything. He made sure that I didn't feel anything before he attempted anything which was great. Today we tried again and got them out. My gum was bleeding a lot due to the infection but he made sure I stayed till it stopped. I can't thank him enough. He really does look after you. He made sure I couldn't feel a thing and didn't rush. He made sure the bleed stopped before I left. Thank you so much for looking out for me.

Fantastic experience: Well this is my best dentist so far I have come across at least I can smile and say that with confidence and also my teeth now with the treatment are much better then the original ones I had years ago. Many thanks once again.

Negative experience: OMG! This man is so aggressive looked like he wanted to fight me. When my son with autism wouldn’t open his mouth. He Just came and looked in my eyes with full temper. Looking at other reviews he needs therapy.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Hastings for approximately 15 years & during this time I have received nothing but the best care & treatment. COVID precautions are strictly adhered to & I felt very safe when I attended today for an extraction (as a result of a broken tooth). It was a completely pain free experience. The Reception & Nursing Staff are always very pleasant & highly professional.

Fantastic experience: Superb. I haven't been to a dentist in 20 years due to really bad experiences with military dentists. A broken tooth made for no choice in paying a visit. The tooth was actually ok, however he found a big hole in another back tooth. I had an appointment today for a filling and TBH I was bricking it. All I can say is that I was put totally at ease by the receptionist, the dentist himself and the dental assistant. I have no hesitation in recommending this dental practice. I found the dentist Dr Hastings to be very polite, quite funny even but totally professional. I will now be making further appointments for routine check ups etc. I cannot recommend him enough.

Fantastic experience: Best Dentist I've ever been 2, he listens and really cares about u and saving your teeth, I'd give him 50 stars if I could top man

Negative experience: Dentist’s work is OK but his attitude is terrible. Looks down on you, very condescending, and makes you feel stupid for asking simple questions, rolling his eyes with a sarcastic comment. Receptionist, however, is very polite and helpful. The whole experience of going there could be much nicer if the dentist could act in a more professional manner when dealing with patients.

Fantastic experience: He deserves more than 5 stars from mine and my families experience, I have the biggest fear of the dentist and I felt right at home here! Receptionist is lovely and really easy to talk to! For the first time ever I'm actually looking forward to going back no mess, no fuss, in and out no problem he doesn't like you to lose any teeth as any dentist wouldn't but he gives you whatever you want without making you feel bad or questioning it.

Fantastic experience: The only dentist to take me on when no one else did and he cares about saving your teeth other than any quick options like pulling them wish them all the best in their future and another thing the secretary is lovely and easy to chat to while your nervously waiting your turn

Fantastic experience: I've got to speak as I find , and Mr Hastings and all his staff have always been more than professional with me , I have always been able to get an appointment when needed . I have never had any issues and both myself and my family receive the highest quality of care , so for that I am thankful .

Negative experience: Went for a check up and would rather wait for months on a waiting list elsewhere that have work done by this man. He was so condescending, looked down his nose at me as if he was so superior and made me feel like I was an awful person for needing a filling. Wish I could give no stars!!!!

Negative experience: I have to agree with other reviews. Not worthy of a star at all. What a horrible man. Made my son feel uncomfortable and myself. Should be struck off. Wouldn't take my dog there...... Avoid this place at all cost. I will never take my children there again.

Negative experience: Sadly this wont let me post no stars as a review. One star Is massively overating the dentist that works here. No manners at all. Absolutely awful dentist, paid completely over the odds for a filling that fell out two weeks later. I have never met a more pig ignorant individual as the snob who works here as a dentist. Go anywhere else. Looks down his nose at everyone, doesn't deserve his own practice. Can't put into words how uncomfortable an experience it was being in the same room as this man. Don't go there.
