Fantastic experience: Joshua was great at putting you at ease, as well as explaining everything and taking the time to give advice. Despite the time taken for positive interactions, and the care shown, it was still a really efficient visit - I was early and it started either a wee bit early or bang on time, I didn't feel like I'd waited at all. It didn't feel rushed in any way, but it was great to be back out getting on with my day less than 15 mins after I arrived

Fantastic experience: Recently started going here for some Invisalign treatment. The prices are amazing comap to other practices. Money is temporary but your smile is with you for life so would invest in this practice. I hope they all get a longer lunch as all the friendly staff deserve it. Met the practice manager also and she ensured to make sure I was looked after properly. Great place to be!

She took the time to make sure my mum was happy and she explained the planned procedures really well before booking in. Today Katie took a tooth out for me, and I have to say that she’s the best dentist I have ever had. She’s kind and polite, has very clear explanations of what she’s going to do and always checks in with me during the treatment. She inspires confidence and this makes me very relaxed. Fantastic experience: Many a time I’ve been asked why I choose to drive from my home in the Scottish Borders all the way to Linlithgow in West Lothian - a 90 mile round trip - just to visit a dentist. “Isn’t there a dentist closer to home you could go to?” Well, the answer is threefold: firstly, yes there is dentist closer to home – a mere seven miles away as it happens; secondly, I’ve been attending the same dental practice since 1991; but thirdly and primarily, I would not look beyond Linlithgow Dental Clinic and Implant Centre (formerly Linlithgow Dental Practice) given the high standard of care I have become so used to. I’ve been around long enough to have seen the practice change ownership twice over the decades but the quality of dental care has remained constant throughout. From Steven Scott through Moira Murray to my current dentist Katie Burke, I am blessed in that all three of my regular go-to dental practitioners have been absolutely superb – lucky me. Happily, despite the fact that the milestone of seven decades of terrestrial life is not too far over the horizon, I can still lay claim to being in possession of my own teeth. With that said however, the journey from birth to the present day has not been without dental incident. I am no stranger to a filling, a root canal treatment and even a crown or two but, as unpleasant as some would describe any, or even all, of these procedures to be, I am at a loss as to understand why. My own experiences have been quite different and I can honestly say, with hand on heart, that I have never once had a bad experience in 34 years of attending the same practice – lucky me. Just last week, Katie replaced an old filling in my lower right wisdom tooth – it had been pressure and temperature sensitive for a few weeks. Being among the most rearward of teeth, just gaining access was challenging enough. Worse still however, while removing the old mercury amalgam filling, Katie discovered a complication in the form of a hairline crack which only complicated the task in front of her. As I lay comfortable and relaxed in the chair (almost asleep at times), Katie worked assiduously for the better part of an hour. At the end of that hour I had a beautifully conserved tooth sporting a new white composite filling. Moreover, any sensitivity to temperature and pressure was gone and the new filling unobtrusive to the extent that, to the tongue, the tooth felt no different to the way if felt before. Suffice to say then, I’m delighted – lucky me indeed! Thank you Katie!

Fantastic experience: On holiday from Australia with almost 4 months of travel to go I ended up needing a root canal. Over the course of 4 working days the clinic made the 3+ hours of treatment happen. In a lot of pain, and swelling from the infection I can not express my gratitude for the treatment they gave. Especially given that I'm obviously not an ongoing patient. A huge thanks to Tricia, Pamela and Paul.

Negative experience: Butchered in here had to pay privately to get it fixed no staff unreliable not properly trained dentists

Fantastic experience: Hi. I advised the practice that cosmetics are not for me - I just want my early neglected molars to see me through, (I'm 81). A filled back tooth had disintegrated to very little above the gum. Dr Bouzi was meticulous in x-raying and measuring and fitting, with the result that my crown fits seamlessly. 10/10 thanks Dr B.

Negative experience: I feel I have no option but to move dental practices. Although Pamela is great, she is sadly let down by others who are unreliable. That’s my 4th hygienist appointment in a row which has been cancelled with little or no warning. Numerous previous problems trying to arrange implant appointments also.

Negative experience: Just been told my dentist they are going private. Im a nhs patient but i pay for my treatment. They want 15 pounds a month for very little services. . .

Negative experience: My son file referral to orthodontist was lost by the clinic, though the orthodontist received it. Email from the orthodontist was in my spam folder. I called but because they had lost the data, I was not informed of the name of orthodontist (they had comunicated with) I was offered to book another appointment that took MONTHS because my son was not considered "urgent", even if I mentioned that meanwhile I had taken my son to a private orthodontist in Portugal who advised urgent action. My son "non urgent" appointment was canceled and I was only given a choice for another "non urgent" appointment months later. In the interim I found the email from the orthodontist had sat on my SPAM folder for 9 months and I called them. The orthodontist was quick and happy to action the 9 month old referral. The orthodontist confirmed what the private orthodontist in Portugal had advised and told me they would notify back the Linlithgow Dental Clinic to action the already delayed by circa 1 year dental procedure and this should be done soonest within a month. More than a month has passed (lost), I have not heard back I just called back and am informed the clinic will call the orthodontist referred to by the Clinic (asking me for their name and number - because they lost the data related to the referral and have no record of the orthodontist communicated back to them). Prior I listened to what appeared to be blame shifting that they do not keep record AFTER notifying a referral to an orthodontist whilst at the same time admiting to the fact, without admiting responsibility that they don't find record of the referral nor offer explanation why I was beeing asked for the name and phone number of the clinic they referred my son to. I do not know how easy it is to change dental practices at this stage.

Negative experience: Tooth extraction. Tooth broke , ended up with dry socket. Went back in pain ✖️3. Had it packed. Last time I phoned they said there was nothing they could do. I went to a different place who xrayed and discovered massive shard of tooth which needs to be extracted. I’m still in pain and that was 2 months ago. The thought of having my gum sliced makes me want to vomit.

Fantastic experience: Delighted with 2 front teeth replacement veneers and a crown. Katie worked hard and patiently over several weeks resulting in a great finish with a perfect colour match. Many, many thanks.
