Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at this practice for years and want to say a huge thank you to Claire. During my pregnancy I was really paranoid about my teeth due to morning sickness, and she was so kind, accommodating, and genuinely caring. She always puts me at ease, takes time to explain everything, and I fully trust her clinical decisions. I can’t recommend her enough!

Negative experience: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Whitburn Cosmetic Dental Practice – Disappointing, Rushed, and Impersonal Experience I regret to say my recent visit was extremely underwhelming. The entire experience felt like a conveyor-belt operation – fast, impersonal, and lacking basic courtesy or patient care. There was no personalised attention, no explanation of procedures, and absolutely no effort to communicate clearly. When I enquired about teeth whitening options, I was simply told to book a hygienist appointment – with zero details, no consultation, and no explanation of the available treatments or costs. This was especially disappointing as I was looking for clarity, not just to be passed along. The dentist (Holly) seemed in a rush from start to finish, which made the whole experience feel transactional and dismissive. Even basic things like giving a sticker to a child were forgotten – only handed out after the child asked for it themselves. Overall, the visit left us feeling like numbers on a list rather than valued patients. If you're looking for a practice that takes time to listen, explain, and treat you with care, I would advise looking elsewhere. Negative experience: Been up with toothache all weekend called this morning to book an appointment to be informed that I owed£20 for missing an appointment last year which I have no recording about , but I said I will pay it no problem. The lady proceeded to get card payment before she can book an appointment , which I felt was outrageous as I told her I would pay when I came in as I don't trust banks . To which she replied she can't book me an appointment until she receives payment unbelievable, maybe I should send an invoice for waiting up to 50 minutes at a time on several occasions in their waiting room I will defo be looking for another dentist AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Fantastic experience: Always receive 5 star service. Alison has been my dentist since childhood and always makes me feel at ease. I recently had emergency dental treatment with one of the other dentists within the practice and really happy to say he was great, brilliant communication throughout the treatment and very knowledgeable information given.

Fantastic experience: Had to pay in advance cause I missed a previous appointment, that was on me, I am happy with that as the money went off my bill, but I got a Check up and a scale and polish in one day, thank you guys so much, merry Christmas to you all.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this clinic for decades. Every member of staff is experienced, friendly, professional and highly competent, whether a dentist, nurse, hygienist or receptionist. On one occasion I turned up having suddenly become unwell during the drive there, and had no option but to turn around and go home, and was treated with nothing but kindness.

Positive experience: Been with this dentist for years now and never had a problem. Have fears of the dentist and always been made to feel comfortable and calm. Genuinely forgot I had an appointment today as this had taken so long for them to book me in, I had another appointment elsewhere that was important and forgot to call in to cancel. Now they want to charge me, ridiculous when every appointment I have had in the last 2 months they have made me stand outside for anything up to 45 minutes after my appointment was due. It’s ok for them to be late every time but when you miss one appointment they want £20. Terrible

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend Gemma anymore at this dental surgery, had a repair done on my front tooth as it was chipped, you really cannot tell the repair has been done.

Fantastic experience: If I could give more than five stars I would without a doubt. Extremely good at what they do and wouldn't recommend anyone else. Was such a delight with my kid who's Extremely terrified, they spoke to her with respect and never once felt offended with how they treated my daughter.

Fantastic experience: Before coming to this dentist I was afraid but I've never felt more comfortable in my life. Every member of this practice are amazing with my needs. They kept me calm and always smile with their jokes. If u have any worries or doubts u shouldn't. In my honestly the best place in Scotland without a doubt

Fantastic experience: Recently had to get emergency work done here, the staff were amazing, I was seen on time and treated with respect. I had everything thoroughly explained to me so that I understood. I Would definitely recommend to anyone. Great team.

Negative experience: I spend alot of money to fix my teeths and two months later the cover of my front teeth fell out and I have smell coming out off the teeth the other two teeths they put feeling they jest crack as well very bad surgery I don't recommend to anybody.

Negative experience: Absolutely worst experience of my life. The young woman with blonde hair and blue eyes filed down my gums on one side of my face I think because she was jealous of my beautiful symmetrical face as I'm a model. I now have to get this fixed at another dentist. She is a psychopath! Do not trust these lunatics.

Fantastic experience: So... During lockdown I had some severe dental problems and like many could do nothing about it. As restrictions lifted I emailed around 30 dentists frantically looking for help. These guys at Whitburn got in touch and i can not express how amazing they have been. Operating during a pandemic is hard enough but they have been so professional and have fixed my smile. My new and i can say forever dentist is amazing and as a very nervous patient she and the amazing staff here have put me at rest every time. Next week will be my 5th visit in 5 weeks. Today i completed work on my top teeth and I havent stopped smiling. From the bottom of my heart thank you, you have not only saved my smile but as a stage performer you have reinstated my confidence. You guys are truly amazing! Thank you
