Basingstoke Orthodontics

Negative experience: Service was good in this practice at the beginning of my daughter,s treatment but it has been a bit unreliable at times, my appointment got moved at a very short notice (same day) and without explanation on the email. I had to call the practice to find out the reason. In my opinion this is not acceptable for a high quality orthidontist practice. I hope it doesn't happen again, I may consider changing practice in the future.

Fantastic experience: My experience was great from start to finish. The receptionist were friendly and I was given so much information so I knew what to expect. On the day my braces came off I had Deepa with Dr Beth, she was amazing and attentive. I’m so happy with the results and my overall experience.

Fantastic experience: We had such a positive experience with Beth, the orthodontist, and Sashi, the treatment coordinator. Beth was fantastic throughout — professional, knowledgeable, and really took the time to explain everything clearly and honestly. Sashi was also amazing, so friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the care and reassurance we received. Highly recommend this practice to anyone considering orthodontic treatment.

Negative experience: Spoke to Rebecca the so called office manager today and was totally rude and unprofessional. They wanting to rip you off and take your money after claiming it treatment will be under NHS. They had all the facts regarding my child’s treatment but of course they don’t pay enough to employee people who can read . U got annoyed and angry with the so called manager as she lacked customer service skills and kept talking over me just to get me off the phone. Avoid where you can, I’d given no star if that was an option

From start to finish, Beth and the entire team have been nothing short of amazing — professional, supportive, and always so friendly. Fantastic experience: My son had braces with Basingstoke orthodontics. Beth was amazing, as were all the staff. Whenever there were any problems like breakages, they were able to fit him in quickly and have a great messaging service where you just send a photo of the problem and they send you an appointment. Excellent orthodontist!

Fantastic experience: My son just had his braces off today and I wated to say how brilliant and supportive Beth and the team have been all the way through. Professional, caring, consistent - the communication was always spot on. They put my son and myself at ease after having some pretty horrible interactions with dentists in the past. Thank you so much and a big thumbs up from me and nod of approval from the teenager (that's the most you'll get!!).

Fantastic experience: I brought my partner here to get her braces taken off, we were told £250 which is very cheap for this but due to the NHS taking her off their system, Beth (orthodontist) thought it was unfair so she took them off for free for her which is amazing! Amazing service, I know it was a simple job but doing it for free out of the kindness of her heart is lovely :)

Fantastic experience: I really am an advocate of Olie and Lauren anyway, but my sister and I met and had our hair done at the same time today. Lauren and Olie didn't fail to meet the usual 100% commitment to us and even recommended and booked the most amazing restaurant in Newbury for lunch! We had a fab day thanks to them! Fantastic experience: I chose Basingstoke Orthodontics after a friend of mine had her smile transformed after seeing Beth. I had an initial consultation with her for orthodontic treatment and found it was very detailed and she was very knowledgeable. After having the consultation and the necessary work carried out by my dentist I am now ready and looking forward to having my braces fitted and seeing the results.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. Super friendly staff, hugely professional orthodontist and overall a great experience from start to finish. Really appreciated the thoughtful approach to my sons care given that he’s both reluctant and rather nervous of treatment.

Negative experience: You're vague: Appointments are rightfully expensive, however, the team and the orthodontist refused to be clear about what I would be looking to get out or even try getting out of them. "You are coming for chat" isn't a valid reason in return for £100 an hour of an orthodontist time. You asked me to delay treatment and arrive for more appointments, but you failed to explain why, what you were looking to get out of these appointments, and what you expected me to do in between them. You're unreliable: Appointments were set to dates which changed a few times without communication or explanation. You referred me to a dentist you worked with, justifying it with your ability and intention to detailed information between the both of you but when I came back, while you had weeks to prepare, you didn not seem to have that information. You struggled to process feedback: You took my feedback personally rather than as a genuine opportunity to understand a problem and resolve it. Interestingly, you seem to have expected me to assume you had positive intent, however it was clear that you did not assume I had positive intent, too. And lastly, You wasted a year of my time with literally not a single orthodontic step forward, and money you said you would refund, but have not done so yet.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend this practice enough. Appointments were flexible. Communication great. Staff lovely and welcoming, which has been especially important for my extremely anxious teenage daughter. The practice itself is modern and clean. On a practical note it’s just off the m3 with parking on site and so is easy to get to. Will definitely be back with my other children should they need treatment. Thank you Basingstoke Orthodontics.

Highly recommended for their clean premises, treatment, friendly and professional staff who always have a smile for you. If anything goes wrong with your braces they offer an immediate appointment to assist. Perfect!
