The Market Place Dental Practice

Fantastic experience: I was under a private dentist, yet was very fortunate to be accepted at The Market Place. I have had one treatment already, a broken tooth/ root canal repair. It was entirely painless and incredibly non stressful. The dentist and assistant were lovely and made me feel very st ease. A relaxing and chilled environment overall. Thank you for supporting,/ sticking with the NHS and enabling so many of us to access dental care. I was quoted £1900.for 3 treatments privately ( root canal and fillings). Impossible for me to afford. So thank you again Market Place.

Positive experience: Pippa is an absolutely amazing dentist. She really cares. She reads your patient history before your visit, and offers advice which makes sense. Her passion for your health makes you want to do better!

Fantastic experience: Went here a couple of weeks ago for a one off appointment as nowhere is taking on patients ATM. Told them ahead of time I was a nervous patient and they were absolutely amazing. Talked me through everything and let me decide how we proceed. Never been to such a friendly dentist and was very quick. Able to sort me out there and then.

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Market Place Dental enough for seeing me at short notice when I was in real discomfort. The team were kind, professional, and reassuring from start to finish. They not only helped with the immediate issue but showed real integrity by having faith in my ongoing NHS dental care rather than pushing unnecessary private treatment. It’s refreshing to find a practice that puts patient care first — I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

Fantastic experience: This dental practice takes the time to ring the day before every appointment to confirm attendance, reception is always busy but friendly, the dentists are proactive in giving preventative advice, there really is nothing to complain about, excellent well run Dentist IMO.

Fantastic experience: My 4 year old got sent here after us calling 111 after a sleepless night . He's been in agony a few days and our usual dentist couldnt/wouldn't help. He's absolutely patrified of dentist and it blew me away how amazing they were ! All the stuff I spoke with including receptionist dental nurse and dentist were super helpful and so kind! He's even excited to go back for a checkup Thank you ♥️

Fantastic experience: I struggle with interaction and I especially struggle with people being really close to me and doing things to me . I explained I was a nervous patient and couldn’t have hoped for a more gentle understanding approach.

Negative experience: I found the receptionist's very condescending, once I turned up for an appointment, took it in my lunch hour from work, checked in to tell her I was there, an hour later I was still sat there, everybody that came in after me had been and gone, when checking with the receptionist all she said was . "Oh sorry was I talking when you checked in" changed it to the high street and it was the best move I have ever done.

Negative experience: As hard as it is to get to the dentist, especially with a child who has covid anxiety, to tell the dentist my child has autism and for her to talk to him the way she did really upset me. She caused him to have a melt down. Please dentists, be aware of your patients and how you talk them. Now it's going to be twice as hard to get him to come back next time.

Fantastic experience: This is the very best dental practice I have found in 60yrs. Mrs Risley Pritchard is just so very caring, and has just made me a new top denture which could not fit better. She is exceptionally meticulous and I feel very lucky that she is my dentist. I cannot praise her and her staff enougj

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusted in the people who work here.. Very rude and unpleasant. My mother had a bad experience here today the dental practitioner was very rude and unprofessional. Would never go here again, glad I moved dental practices when I did years ago.
