Negative experience: Receptionist is aggressive in caring and really unhelpful Not even worth one star ☹️

Negative experience: As I cannot give another, separate review, I had to edit... My family and I have been Katie's patients for the past couple of years. Her Airflow treatment is amazing, as well as her friendly and highly professional manner. Thank you, Katie What a shame about the reception staff, revolving door, often sub-standard communication skills and hugely lacking in customer care! The very reason myself & family have moved to another, much better customer care oriented dental practice.

Fantastic experience: First visit - super welcome from front of house, and amazingly accessible to a disabled person. Kind expert attention from the dentist and her assistant. I'd been dreading it after many poor experiences with dental practices, and left so happy ! Hoping this is the start of great dental support

Negative experience: They're on the NHS website as taking new NHS patients, but when I called they said they only offer affordable private dentistry. In the consultation I was told it's £200 per white filling and over £200 for a special kind of cleaning. Fillings kept falling out and a tooth developed an abscess as had too much infection for a filling. Face was swollen for days. I asked dentist if that's normal to have a lump after treatment and was told it was just because of the numbing. I thought it was right as dentist is an expert. Had to go to a different NHS emergency dentist for an an extraction on tooth that had a filling. Also had filling redone on another tooth at a different NHS dentist as was told there was still decay under it. Edit: I'm not writing this for you to investigate as I've already been in contact with management. I'm writing it to warn others, as I suffered months of bad treatment, that another dentist was shocked about. I see online there are similar stories from same company in different areas, about not treating teeth properly with too much infection.

Fantastic experience: The practice is very modern, very clean and the equipment is all right up to date; the method of cleaning teeth with something resembling a shot-blaster was something I had never heard of before! The staff were friendly and polite. Cami is very skilled and reassuring. I would recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: First contact Wednesday with reception. Appointment Thursday with Ben for a clean around. 100 % perfect service from everyone there. Have now signed up to there plan for everything under one roof. Very happy.

Fantastic experience: I am so unpressed with my new dentist. I have had a dentist’s in the past who have put me off and given me a Real phobia of going again. 4 years and I finally had to get booked in somewhere. Moustafa is brilliant. So calm And chilled. Really knows what he is doing And put my mind at rest. Pain free. I needed a tooth removed. It was many what I wanted to hear but the whole process was smooth thanks to my dentist and his team. I would also like to mention the incredibly friendly lady’s on the front desk. SAM & LORNA. Greeted with a smile, very friendly and helpful. My experience started and finished with them. Definitely Christmas card worthy :) Thank you everyone.

Fantastic experience: I'm incredibly grateful to have received such excellent care from Andrea and Ana-Maria, especially via the NHS. I can tell Andrea is a perfectionist in her work, and she made sure my filling was perfect before I left. She has also recommended using a prescribed toothpaste and TePe brushes, which have made a significant difference to my dental health. Ana-Maria is equally wonderful, continuously checking in on me and ensuring I was comfortable throughout the filling procedure. Both Andrea and Ana-Maria are not only highly skilled but also extremely aware and accommodating of my anxiety and other health conditions. Their professionalism and kindness have made my dental visits far less daunting, and I'm very appreciative of their care. The receptionist staff are also always friendly and helpful. A big thank you to all the staff :)

Negative experience: Been at this dentist for 20 years. Tried booking an appointment today but was told I had been kicked out as haven’t had an appointment for a while. No phone call, letter or any notifications at all to say this was the case, just booted. Conveniently got space for private though!!

Positive experience: Since I've been attending my dentist Meadow Court Trowbridge over the last 7 years I have had very good treatment with 3 different dentist and they have all been excellent. My usual dentist for the last 2 years, Moustafa is very good and always tells you whats happening during your treatment. But as in all jobs there always seem to be new staff so there's no continuity but all in all a good service by all.

Negative experience: Lady by reception told me they accepting only private while NHS page state as attached screenshot. It’s some kind of fraud as they quickly start conversation about private plan but they say they haven’t accept NHS patients in months.

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency appt with Moustafa today. He’s the best dentist I’ve ever seen, very kind and thorough. Head nurse Rachel was also extremely accommodating and generally brilliant.

Negative experience: Was booked in for a check up and was running 35 minutes behind and no apology was made. Got into the chair and dentist didn’t even check my teeth but still charged me £46 won’t be going back. Very rude

Fantastic experience: MyDentist, Meadow Court, Trowbridge. Since recieving care and treatment from Andrea and her assistant Anna over a number of appointment I want to share my experience. They have always been polite, informative and careful with their duties and procedures. I have been made to feel important and cared for and I value that. The reception staff have always been welcoming and courteous. I recommend highly my dentist and I'm grateful for their professionalism.

Negative experience: Waited half an hour with everyone walking by in and out of rooms and just chatting like it's their lunch break when there's 7 patients waiting to be seen. Get called in finally then waited 5 mins for the dentist to finish laughing on the bloody phone REALLY!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been using my dentist for many years with a six monthly checkup and an annual clean and polish with the hygienist. The practice had a few problems during COVID, but who didn't? Appointments can be booked 6 to 12 months in advance and the automated reminders sent by text are great for those who forget to make notes of the time and date. I am afraid that description fits me so I never miss an appointment. Do I recommend my dentist to others? That is a resounding YES!

Fantastic experience: I have recently had some dental work done here and a visit to the hygienist as well. I have to praise the dentist and the hygienist that I dealt with for their understanding and brilliant work. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Yes I know waiting times can be long but that is not the fault of the dentists but rather the system. Thank you My Dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to the practice since I was a child! (20 years or so now) I have recently started coming to have my braces treatment with Cammi! Who has been absolutely wonderful! Cammi is so kind and caring, she gets the jobs done always with a big smile on her Face! And all her assistants have been incredible throughout as well! Negative experience: Seemed good on first appointment, went to book a second 12 months later and was told that I'd been struck off the register because I hadn't attended two appointments despite never actually making these appointments. I told them this but they said there was nothing they could do and I'd have to register elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Have brought up a family of four children with dentist Camilla's kind and professional care - all of us enjoyed our visits over many years (15 at least?!!) We have now moved away but wish we could take Camilla with us - thank you Camilla and happy skiing always xxxxxx

Negative experience: Receptionist OK but a coordinator was abrupt, and muscled a payment a few hours before appt. Dentist was chaotic, not listening, and botched up an X-ray, all puts patients at risk.

Fantastic experience: I’d like to thank this practise for their kindness and outstanding care they have given 2 young people who are in my care. The reception staff have always been very patient, warm and understanding. Without their help the young people would not have got registered. Their dentist Mustafa Alcazazz has been beyond good, always explaining things well, allowing enough time for understanding, and warm. I couldn’t wish for more and thank all the staff for going above and beyond..

Negative experience: Due to an error by this practice we received a penalty charge for non-payment. They assured us it had been sorted but it hadn't and spent 20 minutes trying to get through to be told that it had been sorted and it was no longer their problem. When I asked to speak to practice manager they cut me off. Very disappointed as up to now had not had any problems with treatment here.

Negative experience: If i could give 0 stars i would. This dental practice not only has rude and obnoxious reception staff, but dentists that don’t seem to have a clue why you’re even there. Paid for treatment last year (also paid for hygienist) to be told to go back a second time in 2 months so I could have the rest of my treatment done.. i paid twice for the hygienist and then had my dental appointment cancelled (already paid for) to then have it rebooked for today, to then only arrive to be told they weren’t treating me and that i had to pay even more money. DO NOT USE THIS DENTAL PRACTICE.

Negative experience: My first visit to My Dentist Staverton, very dissapointed, they treat patients without respect, I have to wait outside in front of the door, luckily was dry, not too cold, my appointment was delayed 20 min,nobody bothered to come out to tell me what s going on,finally I was in, 5 min in the chair ,the dentist and her assistant were nice and polite ,then they informed me I have to pay £80 ( to glue a crown). Bit surprised by my eyebrows, they came up with detail I was on urgent appointment (£50) I have to mention I booked this appointment in February ,as my problem wasn't urgent one. Anyway,I went out ,stopped to the reception to proceed the payment, surprise,it was £85 , they added £5 for PPE . I'm glad I have to queue outside, otherwise they charge me for chair in waiting room, the air ,the heating,the sewage. Definitely don't come back

Cancelled appointments, double bookings, I was late once 3 minutes and they sent me home, but when you are on time on your appointment and you wait an extra 45 minutes to be seen they are happy. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. A big thumbs down from me

Positive experience: My experience of My dentist especially Cami and her assistant they make you feel very relaxed and are very friendly. I've recently finished my 6month smile and I can say I'm impressed with the process. I've been wanting to have my teeth straightened for years but could never afford it. They explained I could spread the cost over the months interest free which was ideal. If something broke off or I had a problem i knew I could just call them and Cami would see me quickly. She explains everything and answers any concerns.

The new receptionists are friendly and welcoming, and my children and I feel very safe and comfortable with our dentist and the wonderful dental nurse, who always puts us all at ease with her lovely caring manner. All the staff are exceptionally kind, really friendly and professional and it is such a nice environment to be treated in. As a new patient I was put at ease by Camelia’s friendly and professional manner. She inspired confidence through her professional competence and efficiency. As a person who has had rather a checkered experience of dentists in recent years, she was a welcome change! I have no hesitation in recommending this Practice in general and Camelia in particular.

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency sit and wait appointment this week. Barely sat down before I was called in. My dentist Ivan is FANTASTIC. Very patient, took the time to explain and reassure me and gave appropriate advice on dealing with wisdom tooth pain. Would recommend him!

Fantastic experience: This is without any doubt the best dentist I have ever been to, Ivan, my dentist, is absolutely brilliant dentist, he is a kind mannered man that makes you feel welcome and always passes the time of day before starting treatment, he is kind and thoughtful and talks you through what he’s doing which helps me! As for the rest of the staff, especially Lorna, are marvellous, very very friendly and professional whilst also taking the time to make you feel at ease! As a team they are fantastic, courteous, friendly and professional, basically the best dentist I’ve attended and I’ve been to a lot! I normally need sedation but they make me feel so relaxed I feel I can cope without it now!! Brilliant xx love to you all

Fantastic experience: I have been to this dentist for check-ups and one filling and have had a great experience every time. I always have Ivan, he is so calm and makes you feel so much more at ease! He always checks to make sure you're comfortable and gives you good advice on how to improve your dental hygiene. I don't dread the dentist anymore!

Positive experience: Friendly, polite, professional staff, from receptionists through to the dentists. Have never had any problems. Only thing I would say is leave yourself time to spare as parking is minimal and also appointments can run late. I wouldn't change though.

Negative experience: Very unexperienced dentist. Manger is very busy to listen any complain. Next minute you will find her shopping in the next door. Tooth feeling is coming out within 4 weeks and have to pay again while I had to pay £100 to NHS as a penalty because they did not ask any money from me and give me a pepper to sign. Not recommend to anyone .

Fantastic experience: Brilliant dentist, i don’t really like the dentist that much but I needed 4 teeth out and this dentist couldn’t have made it easier, the receptionists, dentist and assistants are all amazing!! Highly recommend this dentist! :)

Fantastic experience: The Reception staff have always been very helpful with appointments and making you feel welcome, the dentist have gone out of their way to make it pain free whilst explaining the procedures. I'm very happy with this practice. It is good advice to build rapport with the staff.

Positive experience: Some dentist are great here, some are quite rude and abrupt. Feels often like you are being herded through. Reception staff can be great, but sometimes rude and dismissive and/or poorly trained. They tell you to be there at a certain time, then they tell you it was a different time when you arrive, then ban you for missing appointments that was their fault. Generally I will avoid all MYDENTIST's now, as I dont trust them to be consistently professional. Phone Line is always busy with long Q, and very often I wait in q for 20mins only to get cut off and have to call back and start again.

Negative experience: DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED! Dentist very non-committal, will give minimal to none treatment. No treatment for teeth with root infection - for 8 months! Finally the crowns fell off. Still left untreated, with only temporary filling on top of the gaping root canals. Have to wait for at least 15 minutes EVERY time I call. Hanging on number 2... Same snail pace at reception, regardless of errand. Also always delays at the practice. No punctuality whatsoever. Still have the stomach to tell people that every patient delay incurs costs for the clinic, and inform that can refuse treatment if patient is not punctual. Laughable That's it, I'm outta here!

Negative experience: Very poorly managed, they are always cancelling appointments and running late - expect to be seen at least 30 minutes late. Even when my appointment was 8.30am, the first appointment of the day, I didn't get seen until. 8.45am. The reception staff just seem to sit there talking and looking at their mobile phones. As I write this I have been on hold for 25 minutes (apparently number one in the queue for all this time). Really annoyed as I know they are probably just chatting!! I'm Now googling other dentists!!

Positive experience: A previous Dentist of ours a Dentist who we believe was a Polish Lady did a really good job very caring but the clean up then under the N H S seemed to be lacking and there seemed to be a click within there system that you had to Pay Privately for the Clean Up of Your Teeth of which cost you another £50 each which is why we left this practice. a clean up according to what you read in group 1 of what they can carry out if the first Charge Band SHOULD BE INCLUDED as it is with our present N H S dentist.

Negative experience: Having recently moved to the Staverton area this dental practice was recommended by a friend. I went and registered in early April and had a consultation on 25/04/16 and booked in for a hygiene visit with Ben on 27/04/16. I was told my first hygiene appointment would be a longer one and would cost more. However, my visit was 15/20 mins max and I was still charged for the longer appointment. I let this go and made an appointment to see Karl Hollman for a consultation on some implant work I wished to undertake. I have several implants already. I turned up for my appointment today and was left waiting for 55 mins with no explanation as to why there was a delay. I approached the dental receptionist after waiting 40 mins and was given no real explanation other than "someone was in the chair with Mr Hollman" and that if I waited I would be seen. No apology was given. After another 15 minutes of waiting I went and spoke to the other dental receptionist and was told this time that Mr Hollman was running a bit behind today. Several people arrived after me and were seen by Mr Hollman in the time that I was left waiting. Another patient who had been waiting 30 mins for another dentist was on the verge of leaving after being left waiting. She commented that this long wait was a regular occurance. I left the surgery after my unusually long wait.and basically the rudeness of the receptionists asking me if I had to be somewhere else!! They were totally unconcerned. I have never been to such an unprofessional dental surgery in my life and I shall most definitely not be recommending MyDentist to anyone. Thoroughly disgusted.

Negative experience: a few yrs ago they removed my young daughters tooth without sedation, they refused to refer her, i had to pin her down for the injection and the removal after 30 mins of trying to get her in the chair and alot of stress for her. eventually the nurse stood in and calmed her down she was amazing wish i could say the same about him (the dentist) we go back today and the same dentist starts questioning me about decay and made me feel like a child being told off at school!! i asked him to just see the kids and he refused so we left! he was rude and very condescending, he clearly doesnt understand what it is like trying to get a child to clean their teeth when they truely dont want to. i am disgusted by the way i was treated today infront of my children i will be looking for a new dentist and DO NOT recommend this one to anyone...........
