Fantastic experience: Been a fairly long standing customer, joining with an urgent care need. Nothing was a big problem ever. Mike is always nice, sorts the problems no pain involved. Done a great job at saving one of my damaged tooth! (Wasn’t an easy one I believe :D) Jeanna, is always lovely and bubbly, quick, painless and I always come away with a nice shiny smile after treatments! Reception team is very communicative, efficient. They give you a call on time before your appointments, making sure you can make it or need to re-arrange. I can only say the practice and a team are doing a great job and give an outstanding service!

Fantastic experience: While on holiday in Sicily I broke a tooth eating my morning granola. No pain, but no tooth either. We were flying to Bath to visit my sister in law. She booked me an appointment at her dentist at Lyndhurst Dental. Dr Mike was able to see me right away. He carefully inspected the tooth, took an X-ray and talked about my options. He said things should be fine until I returned home to my dentist in the United States. He and his staff were friendly, thorough and professional. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Excellent treatment from Mark Wood after referral to him by my local dentist for root canal treatment. I am very grateful for his expertise and friendly approach. Mark explained exactly what the treatment involved throughout which helped to put me at ease. I had expected some pain and experienced none. Follow up care was also first class. Thank you Mark. Negative experience: At an appointment, I asked Mark Wood for his opinion about a molar. I wanted a quick look and rough idea from him, (as this wasn't the main focus of the appointment) which should have taken 2 minutes but he insisted on taking an x-ray and showing me unsolicited images of other patients mouths which I hadn't asked for or agreed to and which was unpleasant. I have now been waiting two weeks without receiving any information from him. Reception are unhelpful and quite rude when I have asked for updates. They suggested that a letter from Mark was not included in the appointment price - however, I didn't ask Mark for a letter, I asked for a quick verbal opinion which he refused to give and insisted he would write a letter instead! And since when are there charges for letters? This is not listed on their website price list as far as I know! I found Mark Wood to be a very poor listener in my opinion and very keen to talk at length about his work, showing me An unpleasant experience all round and I very much regret ever going.

Negative experience: Wir hatten ein Problem mit Zahnschmerzen. Diese Praxis wirbt damit, schnelle Hilfe zu bieten. Man sei völlig dicht, erklärte die rechte freundliche Dame am Empfang. Die schnelle Hilfe bestand schließlich darin, uns die Nummer einer anderen Praxis zu geben. Wir verließen das Lokal und versuchten, die andere Praxis zu kontaktieren. Ohne Ergebnis. Eine kurze Recherche ergab: Die Praxis hat geschlossen - seit zehn Jahren. Fazit: Danke für nichts.

My dentist Nyla is fantastic - I was told by a previous dentist that two of my teeth needed to be pulled, but with her expertise she was able to restore them with intricate fillings. I would absolutely recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Lyndhurst for years. The staff are lovely and they are brilliant at phoning to leave a reminder for you the day before you visit which is very handy - even if you have made a diary reminder on your phone. Mark is a superb dentist who recently replaced two veneers and (as usual) did a fantastic job. I have also visited recently because I heard about Mike’s snore clinic and wanted to see if he could do anything. He fitted me with a Sleepwell device (basically a mouth guard that stops your jaw falling back when you are asleep which prevents your tongue compressing on your throat). I got it on Friday and after a few tweaks it is absolutely perfect. Last night my wife actually turned the light on to check if I was still there! After years and years of sleeping next to a snorer I was so quiet she’d wondered if I’d moved to the bedroom next door! So the product clearly works! Well done to all the team - keep up the excellent work!

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment today and saw Mike. He gave me a thorough MOT as I have a molar that is giving me pain. I’m booked in for root canal in a couple of days time. He took general photos and X-rayed the affected tooth. We discussed a plan to resolve a number of issues. Yes it’s going to cost me, but unlike a negative review on here by someone in the same situation as myself, I see it as a way forward and private practice obviously isn’t as cheap as NHS. I’m 55 and want my teeth to last, so I’m happy to engage on a program that ensures that I keep my nashers!

Fantastic experience: I am fairly new to Lyndhurst having been with another dentist for years who sadly retired. Mike has sorted out a dental problem that has really troubled me and is looking after me and my family with kindness, expertise and occasionally, humour! The perfect combination! The front of house team are wonderful too!!

Fantastic experience: I have been with the practice for four years, I have had a fear of dentists since I was 7, now 64 - Tolworth in London has a lot to answer for!! Lyndhurst are first class. Confirm appointments, understanding if there is a problem and ensure you have ownership of your treatment all of the time. No pain, empathetic, kind and very professional. I still hold the side of the chair, but getting better!! An outstanding practice, I can not rate them highly enough. Gentle and very friendly.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful dentists! I fell on the street when visiting Bath and chipped both my front teeth. The receptionist (Alison) kindly fitted me in for an emergency appointment, despite being fully booked, and the dentist (Mike) stayed late at the surgery to see me. Fantastic experience: Really pleased I came to this practice. I needed some extensive 'renovation' of old fillings and decay. Dentist recommended a sensible programme of work to bring me up to date with white fillings . Really wish id gone sooner.

Fantastic experience: Having not been to a dentist, due to fear following a horrible experience years ago, Mike was recommended to me when I managed to break a tooth ☹️ Was immediately put at ease by Mike and his team, despite having to lose the tooth. That was two years ago. Thanks to Mike I can now smile in pictures with confidence and family comment on how good my teeth are. If you aren't a fan of going to the dentist I would recommend coming here. You even get appointment reminders, which is great when you are running a busy schedule.

Fantastic experience: I don’t have a good history of regular dental treatment and needed fairly extensive work done. Both Mike and Scott have been brilliant and have managed to save most of my teeth in spite of gum disease. Throughout they have provided detailed explanations of my treatment plan. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended! I’ve been visiting Mike at Lyndhurst Dental Practice for just over a year and have received nothing but excellent advice, care and professional treatment. Not only had Mike solved my various dental problems he’s also cured my fear of the dentist!

Negative experience: Booked in for an emergency appointment regarding a cavity in a molar. Wasn't given any proffessional advice just a lecture on long-term dieting to prevent future decay. Well that's not why I booked in an Emergency appointment. These guys just want to string you along and take your cash. Jokers. Word for word "I'm uncertain at this time what treatment should be given" come back in tomorrow for another session and we'll have a futher look at your expense. I'm upset that the little treatment time I had for a real dentist was wasted on these talkers.

Fantastic experience: Mr Wood the dentist provides an absolutely amazing service! I had terrible pain in the back of my mouth, he removed the old cracked filling and crafted me a perfectly white tooth that fits my bite perfectly! The best part was I nearly fell asleep in his chair :) he was careful and efficient. Well worth the money spent. Thank you Mr Wood!
