Fantastic experience: I went to see Carly Thompson the hygienist today and she was brilliant , very gentle and considerant. I will be seeing her again and would highly recommend her if you're a bit nervous or have sensitive teeth.

Fantastic experience: Have been going to this dentist for years and have always been very pleased with my treatment received by all the dentists. Receptionists that have been there years too!! are very friendly and helpful. Just last week had a hygienist appointment with Kozue who was very good and helpful with advice. Amit Patel that did my invisalign treatment and have seen on whitening has been very good and helpful answering any questions i have had and kindly fitted me in to see him when i was concerned about something. Fantastic experience: I have been a NHS patient at this practice for many years and have always received excellent service from a number of very professional and friendly dentists and support staff. I have just had a lockdown appointment; everything was so efficient from the reminders before attending to the covid procedures and of course the treatment. Everything was top notch. Another routine appointment covid safe. Same excellent service. I have just had a visit to the hygienist - very well looked after. Another check-up, I was advised that I need to see hygienist again, and fortunately I was even able to get sorted immediately as there was a vacancy. Very caring treatment as always. Back again for another regular appointment. Same brilliant service as always. Same as last time! Same service, same treatments. Always well looked-after. I have just been again - saw hygienist this time - as courteous, friendly and professional as always in my experience. Another repeat visit to hygienist, as usual very thorough and I must admit I do enjoy my visits. Same again! Excellent and caring service again as always in my experience.

Negative experience: I missed Richard my usual dentist who is great makes me feel like a “person “ Talks me through things ;today I felt as if I was a nuisance with my chipped tooth … Did it really matter if the tooth was chipped Well I may be old but it matters to me Jennifer

Fantastic experience: Fantastic. I broke a front tooth and they fitted me in the same day within a few hours, even though they are not my usual surgery and I’m not good with going to a dentist. Dr Patel was reassuring, calming, gentle, quick and efficient, and the tooth looks even better now than before it broke! Thank you so much. Extremely relieved to have found a new dentist as my current one is retiring, and now the whole family have moved surgeries and registered as patients here. Would 100% recommend for frightened patients, children and pretty much everyone else. Excellent.

Fantastic experience: I had lost part of an old filling. Anjala removed more of the old filling and replaced it by rebuilding the old tooth. It was an expert job. Thank you. Once again Anjali replaced an old filling today (27 May 2025) I had an excellent session with hygienist Carly. She said I had looked after my teeth very well. She gave them a good polish.

Fantastic experience: April25 and another check up with Rameetha; her advice on using inter dental brushes and use of electric toothbrush has improved my dental health, stabilised my teeth and no filings this time. Good result! Thorough check up plus helpful, friendly and relevant dental hygiene advice from Rameetha January 24 Again , prompt service from Corner House this summer. Disintegrating legacy and deep filling patched up very skillfully and painlessly by Rameetha. Tooth saved! Second time this year that Corner House have sorted me out promptly and very efficiently in organising root canal work on legacy filled back teeth and then patching me up with a robust filling as another old tooth failed. Great help by reception staff and dentists in getting this work done speedily and painlessly! New year, toothache and another disintegrating tooth. I was able to be seen quickly by Corner House, prompt diagnosis of infected tooth; then the very difficult extraction of the crumbling tooth was handled very well with an appropriate injection, a lot of skill and good humour by Richard and his assistant. Not what they needed on a Friday afternoon! Again prompt and effective service from Corner House. Back again for additional filling and then X ray inspection which revealed decay on another tooth. Conveniently this was done at the same time which was very efficient. Unfortunately there were continuing problems with these fillings but luckily I was able to obtain almost immediate appointments for repairs. Richard was able to advise and make appropriate changes that will allow these heavily filled teeth to remain for a while longer. More good work this July/August from Richard and team at CornerHouse. Work plan developed after back heavily filled teeth failed. Prompt and efficient treatment , explaining what was going with extraction, filling and further check up. Another root canal on heavily filled tooth. Good investment to save the tooth. Great service from the team and very quick and focused work from Amit, absolutely painless and was all completed in a 45min slot. No discomfort afterwards.

Fantastic experience: This is a brilliant dental practice from the Receptionists, Dental Nurses and Practitioners and would, and have, recommended family and friends. They have up to date equipment and treatments, which some others are unable to offer. Amit is amazing and quickly puts you at ease. He explains everything clearly and very efficient which instills confidence in the patient. 16/12/24 Exceptional care. Due to being in pain and discomfort I emailed Amit in desperation (on a Sunday afternoon) to explain the problem, and not expecting a response until Monday morning at the earliest, I received a reply early Sunday evening. I was offered an appointment the following morning and had a full X-ray of both my jaw and teeth. Amit also assured me he would make a referral to the Max team to investigate the jaw problem as he had eliminated anything wrong with my teeth. I was also given a course of antibiotics as it was thought it could be an infection. I could not have received any better care and Amit went above and beyond in his care. I would definitely recommend The Corner House dental surgery.

Fantastic experience: I have always hated dentists ever since I first met one, in Kenya as a child! Amazingly as an adult I have found that they are not all bad!!! The Corner House Practice has been our dental practice for over 23 years and from Alan Cuthell through to Amit Patel we just couldn't be more satisfied and happy with all that they have done and continue to do for us. They are all very friendly and I might even one day say that I not only dont hate all of them but might even call this lot friends!!! Never thought I would say that!!! 8th October 2019 All the above still applies, well done The Corner House and all its staff. 31st May 2023 Want to write a new review but simply cannot add more than I wrote inn 2019. Just been back and all is as described above if not even better! Well done to all. September 23 no change thank heavens, all great! Fantastic experience: Have been going to this dental practice for well over 30 years and Alan Cuthell was my dentist. So, I was apprehensive when he retired. However, Amit put me at my ease straightaway. He was welcoming, friendly and very professional. I am very happy with the Corner House's continuing excellent service and with Amit and Fay. Had my seventh crown put on this morning (6.11.17) so it took two visits, the first 40 minutes and today's 15 minutes. I am very impressed with the professional, expert and friendly way Amit did it all. There was very little discomfort at either visit. Thank you. I had my routine dental check today (17/9/2018) and Amit was his usual friendly, welcoming and professional self. Then to the hygienist, Sophie, for my first visit to her. She too was welcoming, friendly and professional and explained clearly how best to keep my teeth cleaned and what toothpaste not to use. Thank you. Giles Fry. On 10/4/2019, I had a tooth extraction. Not a pleasurable experience but Amit was very reassuring and professional and the whole extraction was quickly done and painless. My latest visit was on Tuesday, 6/2/24 for a routine check. Amit was his usual friendly, efficient and professional self. He quickly puts you at ease which is great for those like me who find the dentist a little daunting. Then I had my session with Kozue, the hygienist. Kozue is very friendly and professional too and thoroughly cleaned my teeth. I had my routine check with Amit this morning (23.7.24). Amit is always welcoming and very professional and puts me at my ease straightaway. I am very pleased to have Amit as my dentist, and very pleased that Kozue is my current hygienist. She is very friendly and attentive, and does a thorough clean. I am very happy with the very efficient service and treatment I receive. I had my routine examination and hygienist on 11/3/25. I have always found Amit very friendly, courteous and professional. I am very pleased with the way he treats me and my teeth! After Amit, I saw Kozue, the hygienist. Kozue, too, is very welcoming and friendly, and very good at what she does. As someone who always used to find the dentist daunting, Amit and Kozue are always re-assuring and put me at my ease. I am very pleased with the service I get from Amit and Kozue.

Fantastic experience: I have had a fear of dentists since my childhood. This practice is the only one that makes me feel comfortable when I attend - in particular the lovely young lady dentist who take especially good care of me and puts me at my ease every time!

I had a small job done immediately which will save me a return visit. I must also mention Faye the hygienist who has always done a wonderful job of keeping my teeth clean. The best there is. Had to phone today with toothache, getting worse by the hour. Fortunately there was an appointment within twenty minutes. X-ray taken and diagnosis delivered. This dental surgery is excellent. Negative experience: Reception staff lovely, dentist not so much. I get such a hostile attitude. When in the room they want me to control my toddler while they're working on my mouth? I'm on for 3rd floor and have had to leave the stroller downstairs. Some understanding and friendliness would go along way!

Fantastic experience: Very satisfied with the dental treatment I receive. All the staff are very friendly and kind which is great for me as I am a nervous patient. I grind my teeth and managed to break one last night so I rang early this monring and was fitted in to see a dentist by mid afternoon. Excellent dentistry from their new dentist called Emma. She patched me up very well. Not sure how long I've been a patient here but it is some years after a recommendation from a friend.

Fantastic experience: I had a nasty fall and bruised my upper lip and damaged inside my mouth. I saw Priya who was so lovely and reassuring. She confirmed I was just very bruised and recommended putting vitamin E on the scabs on my face. A lovely lady.

Fantastic experience: We have been registered with this Dentist Practise since the mid-nineties. They have always been excellent! Their advice always excellent, their treatment also. Throughout all the personnel changes over those 20 years the quality of their service has never changed in quality or excellent advice. They have remained friends, the appointments something to look forward to. I owe the state of my Dental health to them. I cannot praise them too highly. Update for 2024 I very much agree with my former review. Their sympathy for my lack of mobility in treating me on the ground floor is marvellous. They are wonderful people! Update August 2024 Wonderful experience again! They are not only excellent Dentists but almost part of the family!

He has been brilliant for me over the past 3 years or so. Transformed my teeth in a way which makes me so confident today, whereas in the past I have been self conscious of them. Fantastic experience: I arrived a few minutes early and was directed to the first floor. Where the waiting room used to be there is now a small bench in a tight corridor. I was seen a few minutes after my appointment time and warmly welcomed. The surgery was clean bright modern and well equipped. The Hygienist seemed really personable and patient. The treatment was done with care and I was given the feeling that I mattered and this put me at ease. The treatment took 35 minutes and cost £67. All-in-all a positive experience so well done Cornerhouse Dental Practise.
