Fantastic experience: I had quite an old crown on a front tooth that was root filled. On a sunny Sunday morning in October 2022 whilst packing for a lovely holiday with our daughter, son-in-law and grandson I decided to have a break and eat some breakfast - peanut butter and toast with a lovely cappuccino coffee. I was shocked when a huge nut as I thought came out of my mouth and bounced on my plate, but it wasn't a nut, it was my front crown complete with most of my tooth inside it. I rang out of hours surgery at Glendair to see if they could help. within an hour Matt and Ruth swung into action and rescued the tooth for my holiday - wow! what fantastic service. They even made me laugh commenting that my Halloween costume had probably gone a bit far - love the Glendair team, they all have a great sense of humour. Bev appeared and also made me laugh. The bad news was that Matt said he would think things through, but he thought that the best course of treatment would be an implant. I booked to see him after my holidays - the tooth stayed in place perfectly. My implant treatment started straight after Christmas and throughout the whole treatment I was reassured and felt relaxed and in good hands. Sarah and Ruth were there throughout the whole process - they are a fabulous implant team working like a well oiled machine. Matt made easy work of removing the root filled root that was in the gum which amazed me. It came out whole and so easily. The implant was placed and as promised I was never without a front tooth. On the day due to quite thin bone I had to have a small denture as a temporary measure. This looked fantastic and friends were all amazed that it wasn't my tooth. A few weeks later - today the crown went on top of the implant. I was so excited to see the result. It feels just like my own tooth - so smooth and the colour is perfect. I always recommend Glendair to friends and family. We would not go to another practice. It really is the home of caring dentistry. The whole team look after my family so well. Thank you Matt and your team for all your hard work, care and sharing the love of fabulous teeth and a healthy mouth. You are all amazing and deserve the fabulous reputation you have gained.

Fantastic experience: Glendair I have been a patient at the practice for around 15 years and have always had a great experience with them. After taking my children to NHS dentists for the first few years of their lives and finding the level of care inadequate compared to that which I experience at Glendair, I also signed my children up at Glendair last year. Their fear of dentists (created by their experiences at NHS dentists) completely disappeared after their first visit and that in itself was enough to make it worth it. However, Glendair really came into their own when my son had an accident recently in which his front (adult) tooth was nearly knocked out. This happened around 7pm so I rang the out of hours service and the practice director (Matt) as well as the practice manager (Bev) were at the surgery within an hour. They managed to put my son’s tooth back in place quickly and most importantly painlessly. What could and probably would have been a traumatic and long experience had I taken him to A&E was quick and fuss free at Glendair. I cannot thank them enough for their kind, caring and professional treatment towards me and my son during what was a very distressing time for us both. If you’re thinking of joining this dentist, you won’t find a better one.

Catherine Maunder and Dental Nurse Josh , have given me a smile that's well worth while.So pleased with the work they have done on my teeth. Plus my hygienist Holly is always very patient with me. It really is a great dentist practice, I used to be petrified are going to a dentist, not anymore, which is thanks to everyone in the team.

Fantastic experience: What can I say other than everyone who delivers our dentistry care at Glendair are absolutely fantastic They are all kind & patient & professional I have been with glendair many years when they where based in south normanton I decided to stay with this practice when they transferred to alfreton. I do have a dental plan which is affordable and warrants me my regular check ups and hygiene appointments. I am aware of additional charges should I need any extensive work however due to my regular check ups and cleans these are seldom. I would advise anyone to consider glendair they CARE about thier clients understand thier clients and listen to tjier clients

Fantastic experience: My first visit today to Glendair (first of MANY). After 10 years of not visiting a dentist due to extreme fear, I plucked up the courage to make the appointment. So glad I did. The receptionists are lovely and the waiting room is comfy and spacious with a very welcome TV for distraction. I expected that dreaded ‘dental surgery smell’ but it wasn’t there! Matt, Jo & Ruth were so patient and kind and absolutely non judgmental. Faced with a gibbering wreck, they were calm and completely reassuring. I’m right at the start of my oral health journey but absolutely committed to getting this treatment completed, then be a religious 6-monther. Thank you all for your kindness. Fantastic experience: As one whom has never been keen on dentists due to trauma as a child so only going when in desperate need. My experience at Glendair has been absolutely first class. Most importantly I no longer fear going to the dentist, which during my treatment has felt like visiting friends. Danielle is a great receptionist, friendly and shared my excitement at getting my new crown. Sarah the hygienist totally put me at ease and has been very supportive during my appointments often making me giggle. Matt the dentist from the first time I turned up to my last appointment has done an incredible job, I cannot thank him enough for giving me my smile back. What an amazing team ! I would recommend Glendair to anyone. In terms of cost, personally I think going to Glendair is worth every penny and actually very affordable for anyone as the cost is spread out. Fantastic experience: A most professional dentist. All the team from reception staff, admin and dentists are all so kind. I went to Glendair for a second opinion from my nhs dentist. They treated all my problems with great success. I have just had a dental implant and I know I was a complicated case. I would highly recommend to see Matt who specialises in dental implants. I have an implant in my front tooth and it looks amazing. A great Thankyou to all.

Fantastic experience: Before starting treatment at Glendair, I suffered from a range of dental-associated phobias that prevented me in the past from having much needed treatment. However, it wasn’t long after my original consultation that I gained both the confidence and mental capability to engage in the required procedures due to the friendly, comforting staff - especially Cate! She has been absolutely fantastic and I feel extremely grateful to call her my dentist. I couldn’t recommend this place enough - thanks to them I have finally resolved oral issues that were affecting my quality of life!

Fantastic experience: Excellent appointment today with Kate who removed an ancient amalgam filling in a back tooth and put in a new composite one with great skill. I never felt a thing and was reassured throughout. You can't beat that !

Both treat me with immense kindness and respect and always listen to any concerns I have regarding treatment or procedures required. Positive experience: Probably sounds a bit weird but I always enjoy my dental appointments at Glendair. As I child (in Derby), I was traumatised by dental appointments, especially when, back then, the dreaded black mask was used to put you to sleep for your fillings/extractions. That trauma stayed with me for years, until I moved to Alfreton and discovered Glendair Dental Practice. Much has changed since those days at the Mansfield Rd Practice, but the one thing that still remains is the caring and considerate treatment that I receive at every appointment. I would have no hesitation in recommending Glendair Dental Practice. Keep up the good work

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Glendare Dental Practice for around 15 years now, and every encounter I have had, be it my dentist, an emergency appointment with a different dentist, hygienist, reception staff and Ruth has been excellent. I have complex facial pain, which Matt picked up on and referred me straight to specialists for this around 13 years ago. Glendair staff have played a pivotal role in helping me manage my pain , and I have never been made to feel rushed, or like I am a bother. Staff are prepared to listen to what is being said as well as engaging in constructive dialogue. If you are looking for first class dental care, look no further, at Glendare you have have found it.
