The highest standard of hygiene was in place making us feel safe in these challenging times. Our Dentist Sarah Harvey assisted by Georgia were both outstanding. We are so lucky to have them all.

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist isn't my favourite thing to do. But, a smiley receptionist and an open, bright waiting room helps somewhat. My dentist is lovely and speaks very clearly and in a way that is easy to understand. Definitely the best dentist I have been to. Would recommend.

I have been a patient there for many years and she always seems to some how make the experience of going to the dentist a pleasure. Fantastic experience: I have been a patent of Dr Sarah Hosier's for a long time now and have always received outstanding service. As a disabled, wheelchair-bound person it is important to me to be able to access dental like everyone else. Sarah and the practice are eager to help in any way they can. I have never had an unpleasant experience at the practice. I am a private patient but used to be seen under the NHS scheme honestly, under either scheme I have always felt valued. I became a private patient so that I could remain with Dr Hosier. Having been a patient at a practice in Mayfair for some time while at university, I can say that the service and treatment here are better even during C-19 when the dentist was able to open! Well done Sarah and the team. The only thing I would say is don't get caught out by the late cancellation fee I do understand why they have to charge it's just a warning to any new patients.

Fantastic experience: The best dental experience I have had yet. The booking experience was easy and hands off. I loved the self-service portal and everything was easy to work with and understand. No one likes going to the dentist, but from the moment I walked in to the practice, the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. Reception was so helpful and explained everything I needed to know. The dentist (Sarah Hosier) was fantastic. Friendly, efficient and again explained everything to me and even though she was really efficient, I did not feel rushed. Booking my next appointment when leaving was also incredibly easy. Overall great experience and I am glad I have found a great dentist to stick with for a while!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the staff at Blackhorse Way Dental Survey. The receptionists are always smiley and helpful and quick to book in appointments. My current Dentist for my Invisalign braces is Dr Hosier and she is the most wonderful lady ever! I am quite scared of dentists usually due to past experiences, but Dr Hosier is always so quick to put you at ease and explains everything she is doing well so you know where you stand. Positive experience: Surgery was clean all within Covid rules. All staff fantastic & helpful. My only suggestion would be to install a lower front door buzzer, so wheel chair users could reach. Great you have a w.c a few disability aids would help. I.e grab rails.

Fantastic experience: Ever since I moved to the Horsham area in 2004, I have been a patient on their books, originally mostly attending appointments in The Causeway but increasingly only in Blackhorse Way. I have always found the reception team to be very friendly and the dentists, hygienists and their nurses/technicians to be lovely, sympathetic and highly proficient practitioners. Over fifteen years, I have only ever missed two appointments (one entirely my fault, the other partially caused by confusion when one of two appointments I had was cancelled due to a mix-up and I inadvertently didn't attend the other one, which was still going ahead). Being charged for missing appointments is frustrating but I accepted it with good grace, as I know how much time and money is wasted when people are no-shows. The surgery is very conveniently located in the middle of the town and there is easy parking close by. The building the surgery is in (in fact both the buildings in Black Horse Way and The Causeway) are uniquely old and curiously laid out, so they would be probably slightly awkward for the elderly or infirm (in my opinion) due to steep stairs, changes in ceiling heights and rather uneven floors, but the surgeries themselves are modern and well-equipped. They are also keen to embrace technology, giving adequate notice by text message and just moving to email (to save money and paper). I have never felt under pressure to have what I considered to be unnecessary procedures done (not true of all the practices I have been a patient at over the years) and when there have had to be locums due to staff illness, maternity leave etc., the incomers have always been wonderful replacements. On balance, I would definitely recommend Blackhorse Way Dental surgery. Updated in 2021 - still with the practice and still delighted to be a patient there.

Fantastic experience: Always a pleasant experience. Sarah Harvey is brilliant, friendly and thorough. The reception team are lovely and helpful too. I always used to go to Sarah Hosier who was amazing and when we had to change I was disappointed she went private but Sarah Harvey is just as lovely. I always think its a good sign that no matter how long it is since you last visited they remember you. Great little practice.

Fantastic experience: Visited the surgery recently as unfortunately I had to have a back tooth taken out, and then returned to have a filling replaced the following week. I'm a huge coward when it comes to anything more than a check up, but Dr. Patel performed both jobs very gently and skillfully. The reception team are also very professional and friendly; I feel very privileged to be a patient at Blackhorse Way surgery and would thoroughly recommend both Dr. Patel and the surgery to anyone.

Fantastic experience: The receptionist made it possible for me to have a hygienist appointment and dental check up back to back after a long absence due to Covid. Very well managed and both my new hygienist and dentist were excellent albeit still operating in difficult conditions with PPE and without the use of certain equipment. Receptionist very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Contacted dental practice on Monday due to tooth pain (suspected abscess) and got an appointment for the first day my dentist was in that week which was for Wednesday, I was advised that if needed I could be seen earlier with another dentist if required. I was seen by my dentist on the Wednesday and as normal was a very professional (and as enjoyable as a visit to the dentist can be) visit. Condition sorted with required follow ups arranged.

It has always been very clear what I will need doing and why, and how much the treatment plan will cost. I find the receptionists to be helpful and friendly, the recent changes to cope with covid compliance are effective and work well. In particular, my dentist, Sarah Hosier is wonderful. She takes the time to explain what’s happening and to answer any questions that I might have as a patient who is pretty anxious about dental work. She is reassuring and kind, and she does exactly what she says she is going to, which helps to reduce my anxiety. I have had fillings done without experiencing any significant pain or discomfort, done quickly and with skill. I would most definitely recommend Black Horse Way dentists, especially to anyone with anxiety around dental work.

Positive experience: A little disappointed. COVID restrictions meant I was left outside the front door for over 10 minutes beyond my appointment time. The hygienist was unable to polish my teeth and I left after half an hour with a horribly tasting mouth and the same bill/cost as I would have had pre Covid despite a more limited service. Everyone was as friendly as they could have been but really I should have been told before turning up that the service was going to be limited.

Fantastic experience: As a nervous patient, Dentists weren’t my favourite people, despite having very little remedial treatment needed. Sarah Harvey has restored my faith in Dentists. The hygienist was thorough and gentle, despite having to resort to the manual techniques and I left feeling i had received value for money and more importantly, cared for.

Fantastic experience: An excellent response to my problem, at a time when normal responses are yet to be resumed. When I phoned the receptionist she listened carefully to my long description and arranged for me to have a phone call from the dentist. This happened just over an hour later. The dentist agreed to prescribe penicillin. This was sent electronically. The dentist did check on my medications and even advised me to phone the pharmacy in about half an hour to check that they had seen the request in their e mails. Reassuring comment made at the end of my appointment that should I have any further problems or questions about my future treatment plan I could make an immediate appointment and come in to the surgery. The chilled water dispenser in reception is most welcome and refreshing !
