Fantastic experience: I’ve recently become anxious about visiting the dentist, but Acorn Dental is really amazing. From the moment of walking in, the reception staff are always warm and welcoming. Raj and his assistants are very kind, patient and reassuring. From the moment of starting to finishing the whole tooth restoration process, making sure you feel comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend, especially if you get anxious about dental visits.

Fantastic experience: As a referral patient for dental work, I was welcomed by the reception staff and any apprehension soon evaporated. The whole surgery has a calm & relaxed atmosphere The procedure was expertly explained by team from how long it would take, the various options available, right through to dental hygiene & after care. Throughout all of the treatment, my wellbeing was always checked upon, so unnecessary discomfort was kept at a minimum. I would certainly recommend anyone to discuss regular dental care with the staff at Acorn Dental

He really takes his time to explain everything and makes sure the treatment is done to a very high standard. The reception team are also fantastic – warm, friendly, and they make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. It’s clear that Dr.Chiggs and the team genuinely care about their patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Chiggs and the practice to anyone looking for outstanding dental care.

Negative experience: Awful. Manoj Parmar is the rudest dentist I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. He doesn’t care about his patients, the way he speaks to his assistants is jaw dropping. He runs late continuously, keeping us waiting. This isn’t the first time either, he really is rude and money grabbing. I’m surprised he is still in business because i will never recommend this practice to anybody. Manners cost nothing. The practice manager is lovely and so is the reception team. Shame about the ‘ principal dentist ‘ - more people need to leave more honest reviews about this man. He needs to be humbled.

Amy and Debbie were very welcoming and friendly, welcomed me with a smile and offered me a coffee etc. Having been to two of the three practices, have to say the Bartn Green practice was a great experience. I see Dr Dipesh Parmer who makes me feel at ease (extra important because I suffer from dentophobia). He's very professional and continuously strives for perfection when carrying out any dental procedures. His attention to detail and level of care really is outstanding. He's also someone you can trust to not suggest work that is not required. Only thing for me to do now is make regular appointments for checkups :)

They provide first class dental services in Barnt Green & it is always a pleasure to use their services. In particular, Dentist Raj Shairon has overseen my recent Enlighten Treatment which has provided fantastic results. The 3 stage process, carried out at home over consecutive weeks was fully explained with support and advice constantly available. As I have particularly sensitive teeth, Raj advised on managing the treatment to suit my dental history and tailored my follow up appts to fit my regime success. The results have been very impressive and I have received many compliments. The improvement in Whitening was recorded to evidence the transformation and the results are indisputable. For several years I have attended regular check ups with Raj & hygiene appts with Kelly Skinner, who too is an outstanding professional - I couldn't be happier with my oral care. All of my family have now moved to Acorn Dental Practice in Barnt Green. All the staff work tirelessly and take pride in all they do. Jodie, Practice Manager and Receptionist Debbie, are just two of the many Acorn staff that help make the team such a joy to visit. I whole heartedly recommend Acorn Dental to anyone who requires first class dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Acorn Dentist Barnt Green. I called yesterday morning to explain my mother was in pain and her new denture was hurting and couldn’t get her an appointment with her own dentist despite the fact she was in pain. She was seen later on that day, Raj managed to squeeze her in and not leave her in pain any longer. The practice is wheelchair accessible (moms in a wheelchair) so that’s important. Upon arrival we were greeted by Debbie the receptionist who was friendly and welcoming. She was seen straight away and the problem was identified the denture was digging into the roof of her mouth and had caused an ulcer. Raj adjusted the denture all the time explaining what he was doing and reassuring mom. He was friendly and professional and sorted out the problem. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Oh and I’m still waiting for a call back from her own dentist to let me know when she can be seen. I guess Raj is her dentist from now on.

Fantastic experience: This was my 1st time at Acorn dental practice today and I felt very nervous as haven’t been to a dentist in while. The reception team were so lovely and made me feel so welcome and calmed my nerves by talking to me and also offered me drink. The dentist was so friendly and gentle. Fantastic experience: I get pretty anxious about the dentist, but Acorn made the experience much easier. The clinic is clean and the staff are really welcoming thanks Debbie. Dr. Shah is very skilled at his job he did my fillings and fixed a cracked tooth—surprisingly no pain at all. I also tried the Enlighten whitening and was happy with the results. Would definitely recommend if you’re a nervous patient like me.

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Acorn Dental in Barnt Green. I can honestly say that I have always dreaded my visits to the dentist, but since I have moved to the practice I don’t worry at all. Even after having some old fillings replaced, I didn’t feel any pain at all. My dentist Raj is very professional and caring. He explains everything to you first, then continues to ask if everything is ok during the treatment. Looking forward to getting my son’s teeth (that will need braces) sorted out with Raj soon, and I have booked my husband in next week!

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t be happier with my experience at Acorns Dental Surgery. Manoj has given me my smile back after I needed a tooth extraction and dental implant fitted. I am so happy with the results. Evie and Shiva (two lovely dental nurses) have been excellent also. The front of house ladies Debbie and Ellie always greet you with a warm smile and get you checked in efficiently. The communication between each appointment has been excellent. I couldn’t recommend this practice enough. Superb staff and brilliant dentist. I wouldn’t hesitate to contact them again in the future :)

Fantastic experience: After moving to a new area I needed an urgent root canal and asked on a local Facebook group and had a few people recommend Acorn Dental. I’m not great with the dentist and they have been so kind and friendly. Brilliant service and fantastic dentists when you are actually in the chair. Fantastic experience: Nothing but praise for Acorn and the whole team. Having carried out considerable research I opted to ask Acorn to do a double implant for me (my first). They were kind, considerate, caring and did everything they could to make me feel a valued customer. Nothing was too much trouble and being the curious type they were very good at explaining everything to me throughout the process. I don't think my teeth were the most straightforward but I cannot fault Manoj's expertise and treatment. Fantastic experience: Was recommended Dipesh for my composite bonding and veneers - HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT. From start to finish the service provided was 5 star. Fantastic experience: In December 2020 I naively walked into @acorndentalbarntgreen and asked @dr.dipeshparmar for a set of veneers to 'fix' my teeth. He was so professional and very nicely told me that wouldn't be possible as I was way beyond that. He fitted train track braces which stayed on for nearly 3 and a half years. After a lot of patience on both our parts, I can't believe they are now off and I can smile freely without hiding my teeth for the first time ever To be honest it didn't feel that long because I saw huge results very quickly! @dr.dipeshparmar you were incredible, I felt in very safe hands and you gave so much reassurance all the way through. You were a dream to work with and my years of research paid off, you truly are the best in the business. my only regret is not doing it sooner! Fantastic experience: All the team are excellent at Acorn. They were very welcoming especially Debbie the receptionist. I was looked after by Dr Raj Shah, he has done a absolutely amazing job, which I never thought would ever be achieved. I had a resin bonded bridge to start with and then in the next 3 appointments I had a non surgical periodontal treatment. Of course it was painful but Dr Shah kept me calm and relaxed. Eventually all the bleeding stopped and no more loose teeth. Well done Raj. I have no hesitation in recommending Acorn dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I'm leaving this review on behalf of my Mom who has had the most amazing experience with Dr. Raj and the whole team. Mom had a partial plate fitted in an NHS dentist. When it broke and she needed a replacement, it was sub standard with limited options for improvement. She needed huge amounts of fixative to keep it in place, and it was uncomfortable and impacting her confidence, and what she could eat. We sought advice from the team as i had already been attending for invisalign and having a great experience. Dr. Raj was clearly knowledgable and experienced from the outset. He was clear about the realistic options, costs and processes. The result has been a perfectly fitting denture, which is more comfortable, no longer needs huge amounts of fixative to keep it in place (in fact, none at all!) and Mom has got her confidence back which has been the most amazing thing to see. We can't thank the team enough for their exceptional care, skill and knowledge. I would never go anywhere else,

Fantastic experience: This dental surgery is amazing, and the whole team in it. From the amazing girls on the desk keeping everything running, the dental nurses and hygienists (even the dentists are pretty good ;)) It's beautifully set up, relaxed and professional. If you're looking for an experienced and skilled team, with outstanding results, this is the place for you. I initially approached Acorn as i have a major phobia of dentists and wanted to get over it! I was looking to get a straighter smile, with natural results. From my first consultation with Dr. Dipesh, i knew i had found the right place. He was patient with me, gave realistic quotes and outcomes and most importantly was focused on delivering a great aesthetic result as naturally as possible. I've had a course of invisalign, whitening and minimal composite bonding. Most amazingly of all, i'm no longer dreading every dental visit! Looking forward to seeing you all for my check up!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Acorn Dental Centre by a friend as I had bad pain in a Wisdom tooth and needed a second opinion and possible extraction. This was seemingly no trouble at all and I was seen to within 24 hrs. Debbie on reception was amazing and very welcoming and friendly. She even settled my nerves before my consultation and extractation, putting my mind at ease. I was seen by Anam, who was truly brilliant. She extracted my Wisdom tooth and I felt very comfortable throughout the whole procedure. I can't thank Debbie and Anam enough, infact all of the Staff. Thank you all once again.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Acorns by my Dentist as I needed to have 2 implants placed, to replace a decaying crown snd a tooth that was badly broken down and nor reparable. I was very nervous, doubtful and apprehensive. I visited Manoj for an initial consultation and was immediately put at ease and reassured. I went ahead with the treatment and was very nervous on the day but I needn't have been. I didn't feel a thing. The team were lovely and looked after me well. Within a few minutes of the surgery, I was quite relaxed and happy. The worst part, I thought, would be the length of the appointment, 3 hours, but the time went so quickly, we had the radio on and I was well looked after. I would not hesitate yo have this treatment done again if necessary and If I can do it then anyone can. Debbie on reception chatted to me before and after my appointment and also called me the next day to make sure I was pain free and happy. Brilliant experience, lovely team. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I love my new teeth! If you are thinking whether you should have implants or not then providing you can afford it just do it. They may seem expensive but they are so worth saving up for. Dr. Parmar is a brilliant dentist. I have had two lots of two implants and have never had any pain. He is very considerate and thorough. All the dental nurses, especially Evie and both receptionists are lovely too. All very chatty and go the extra mile to make you feel at ease. Don't over think it, just do it.

Fantastic experience: Probably the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Never been there before, went in with a chipped tooth and the dentist repaired my tooth there and then (I was only expecting a consultation). The dentist also removed the consultation fee too so it was cheaper for me. The dental practice is very modern, and the large TV screens show relaxing pictures which helps to relax any nerves. The receptionist (Debbie) was very welcoming and polite. Would highly recommend this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Absolute brilliant service from my very first visit until now. I hadn't been to a dentist for a good number of years and everybody I spoke to on the phone and saw in person at Acorn were incredibly friendly. I will certainly be staying with Acorn as I genuinely believe they are the most friendly dental practice in our area. Anam and Kelly particularly need a mention, they helped me with my tooache/abscess when I needed it most and I only wish I had gone to them sooner!

Fantastic experience: My fear of the Dentist is from way back in the 70s and to today the Dentist chair turns me into a quivering wreck… so you can imagine my panic when I was prescribed an implant, I was referred to Manoj. The sight of a gap in my teeth depressed me far more than I imagined so I attended my first appointment with trepidation. Everyone was wonderful taking care and asking what my fears were and why, these were not forgotten and everything was dealt with. I was faced with a hefty quote and the prospect of a 4 hour appointment. This hung over me for 2 months… I was terrified. I found my coping mechanism was listening to an audio book with earphones. The appointment came round and it was amazing, again everyone on top of their game, nobody could do more for me… they were all brilliant. I have now had my permanent tooth fitted and I couldn’t be more pleased.. it makes me so happy. So the moral of my essay is if I can do it.. you can…. And the fee becomes irrelevant because everyday I have a big white smile. The best place ever, I’m so impressed and couldn’t sing their praises higher. Fantastic experience: I was recently in a great deal of pain from a back tooth. My regular NHS dentist offered me an appointment over 2 weeks away, so I called Acorn Dental in Barnt Green. Amazingly, they were able to see me straight away, dentist Raj did some tests, clearly explained the problem and extracted the troublesome tooth, all within an hour of my initial call! Brilliant service and no more excruciating pain, thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: My mum was referred to Acorn Dental by her usual dental practice as she required implant surgery which they could not do. The process was brilliant from start to finish. There was always a warm, friendly welcome and we were kept fully informed throughout the whole experience. My mother has Alzheimer’s so it was important for her to feel safe and secure. Manoj and his team have been fantastic and we are incredibly pleased with how Mum’s smile has been restored. Fully deserving of a 5 star review.
