The reception staff are just as great I didn't know how to get here to the practice and Jane one of the receptionist guided me how to get there all members of the staff I seen are definitely worth a 10 out of 10.

Fantastic experience: Not been to dentist since before we moved to area in 2019. The lockdown forbade visiting anywhere and after it just got put on a back burner. Having broken a tooth I needed to find a dentist and was recommended Thrive. Alice was very gentle and was able to do the X-ray via a free standing machine because of my gag reflex. I’m going back to have my fillings done and sign up for regular exams.

Fantastic experience: I went for a new patient package everyone I seen was so lovely and welcoming and very helpful I'm at very low place self-esteem and hopefully going forward with the right treatment correcting the wrongs of my old dentist will help em gain my confidence back they sat me down after the check up and talked me through it all and reassured me they can try there best to help all positives

They got me in as a new patient the next day and I can smile again. They were all lovely from Reception to Dentist. I have signed up for a dental plan now and will go back for much needed work. I will try to convince my husband to sign up too.

Also have had appointment with Hygienist which was excellent also. Now have been given dates of my next six monthly appointments. Cannot fault Thrive Dental Care.

I see Dr Dave and he has always been so friendly and chatty, putting any anxiousness to rest. I really cannot recommend this dental practice enough!! Fab team

Positive experience: It has always been a pleasant experience at Cwmbran Thrive, both receptionists and their practitioners are well manner and well spoken. I have had many poor experiences with dental practitioners but I cannot claim that here, both David and Tracy were a pleasure. I cannot give five stars sadly, I wish I could but on each occasion I have been seen outside of my appointment time slot, although not by much.

Fantastic experience: Took mum in for her checkup. The reception area has had a lovely refurb and has comfortable bucket seats. Mum has reduced mobility, her dentist and his assistant were very patient with her. The dentists room has been freshened up with white paint and is sparkling clean. Mums assessment "nothing less than excellent ... very pleased".

Fantastic experience: It's rare to say that a visit to the dentist was pleasant, but I am so happy we chose this as our new surgery. Every member of staff was friendly, and David (my dentist) made me feel very relaxed. The reception area is clean and smart with only one small downside. My only criticism would be that the desk is close to the entrance and it felt a bit like I was obstructing the way in/ out whilst I was paying. Everything that really mattered was spot on.

The whole team are so friendly and welcoming and cannot do enough for their clients. The process was quick and easy considering My case was particularly challenging. Fantastic experience: I attended today for my routine dental and hygienist appointment. As always I was pleasantly greeted at reception and dealt with efficiently. I noticed that the waiting area had been upgraded since my previous visit with comfortable seating and clean crisp decor. Richard my dentist was most helpful after checking my teeth he answered all my queries and provided information as requested both verbal and graphic. My hygienist appointment was very thorough and after chatting with the two pleasant ladies I was soon on my way with sparkling cavity free teeth.

Fantastic experience: The staff on the desk are friendly and very helpful. In the 18 years I have been going to this dentist I have been treated very well. All 5 dentist I have seen have listened and shown me respect and understanding. The dentist assistant s are really lovely. My fear of the dentist completely disappeared since going to this dentist.

Fantastic experience: Quick and easy today. The new dentist (David) and dental nurse (sorry didn't catch your name) seemed lovely too! Richard did fab caps on my front teeth, considering he'd never done that specific one before. They still amaze me now. Receptionists are great too!
