Fantastic experience: I’ve saw Gill for routine appointments a few years ago and decided to come back to arnica after having some issues. Booked in for a check up and got the same amazing service as always, needed some further work doing as an emergency and gill really went above and beyond. When I first visited arnica I could barely walk through the door for fear, but with the help from everyone there I can now calmly and comfortably get everything I need done no panic or tears! I choose sedation due to nerves and always feel super informed and in control of what is happening, would never go anywhere else. Thanks Gill and your team x

Toby is a true professional with an obvious passion and drive to deliver his very best for patients. I’m a nervous patient after past experiences, my anxiety is off the charts regarding dental treatment. I was in an absolutely terrifying position of having to have 3 teeth extracted one being a wisdom tooth, with close proximity to my ID nerve….scary! Once I had got my head somewhat around the situation of having to lose 3 teeth I started searching for someone with the knowledge and expertise to give me the best possible experience. Toby and his fabulous caring team went above and beyond making this very scary experience a positive one. Maisie has such a calming, friendly manner that really helped to put me at ease. And thank you Rebecca for offering to hold my hand, I felt like I was squeezing for dear life… but Rebecca was so kind. Both ladies are true professionals and I can’t thank you enough for your kindness. The sedation was a breeze didn’t even feel the needle. Which was one of my many worries. The extractions I didn’t feel anything and I felt like it was over in minutes. Before I knew it I was off home to take it easy for the rest of the day. I can’t thank Toby enough he really did go above and beyond to reassure me and answer all my many questions in person and via email after our first consultation. Negative experience: Pleasant facilities and friendly staff. Unfortunately the prices have more than doubled since the practice was acquired by Bupa. Also you don't get any choice of who is your dentist. I have had pressure and temperature sensitivity since having a filling. Other than that, it's been a good service.

Fantastic experience: Had a check up and filling done recently by Nicola from arnica dental. The practice is very efficient, was not waiting more than 5 minutes on both visits. The filling was really quick and pain free. Couldn’t even tell which tooth had been filled ha.

Fantastic experience: I have a severe anxiety of extractions, and was recommended to see Toby are Arnica. I turned up this morning, shaking like a leaf for an extraction under sedation. After a short period of time when starting the process, I was made at ease, with Toby and his lovely assistant. Then I woke up, and didn’t feel any needles or the extraction. They made sure afterwards I was recovered, and waited with me till my mum collected me to explain the aftercare process. I cannot more highly recommend Arnica and Toby if you have anxiety

Fantastic experience: Around 10 years ago my dentist informed me I would need an impacted wisdom tooth extraction and I would require a person of some ability to remove it for me as it was a very difficult extraction. After finding Ellie Ledger of Arnica Dental Care I was so relieved as no one else was willing to remove it. To this day I have used Arnica Dental Care Service on three separate occasions (2 for impacted wisdom teeth, one of which was severely infected) and more recently to remove a foreign body from my tongue. I find Ellie Ledger very helpful, dedicated and always professional. She was considerate and compassionate to my situation and always a great source of reassurance for someone with anxiety at the dentist. In my opinion, she has exceptional ability and will remain my first choice for any work I need to have done in the future and therefore can only recommend this talented lady to looking for a total care service. Fantastic experience: Delighted with the results so far from my dental work. If you're looking to get any orthodontic work done then make sure you see Goldie! Absolute rock star and has a done a superb job. He loves what he does and is totally invested in success and he backs that up with great skill, experience and expertise. Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Arnica for wisdom tooth removal and would highly recommend. I was extremely worried for this however the team was reassuring and recommended sedation so that I did not remember the surgery. Fantastic experience: Having experienced the barbaric butchery of 70's and 80's dentists it left me pretty much with a lifelong phobia of them. I decided to bite the bullet and finally start to get my teeth sorted. Sarisa and her assistant (sorry didn't get her name) were both brilliant, very understanding and professional. The standard of dentistry these days seems a world away from how it was and I would heartily recommend Arnica for any nervous patients. As for people complaining about the price, don't blame the dentists blame the system for not being managed properly, forcing people to go private due to there being little to no places accepting NHS.

Negative experience: Called Arnica Dental Care 28-2-2024. For a appointment . Told the receptionist that my bridge was loose. She asked me who fitted the bridge I said I went abroad. She said then we can't help you I asked the question why. She said we usaly tell them go to the dentist who did the work. So I said so all your patients have only been seen by your practice. I said be honest it's because I went abroad because I wouldn't pay the £40.000 britsh dentist wanted.. I had a lot of problems because of cancer I paid £12.000 . The receptionist said she was going to call me back straight away. Still waiting. BRITISH DENTAL PRACTICE S IN THE UK CHARGE MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF MONEY FOR DENTEL . THIS IS GREED

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience......... From the receptionist to Toby and his team Hannah and Emma the treatment was superb. Very gentle and caring. Fully explained everything. I was sedated but was aware and felt so relaxed that the extraction was actually a swift and not unpleasant experience at all to be honest. Fantastic experience: I collect the mail from reception, 4 days a week. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, especially Jenny and Rachel.

Negative experience: Just be really vigilant when booking an appointment and read through the notifications that they send you via messenger reminding you of your appointment. I normally make my 6 monthly appointments at the reception desk and pop the appointment date on my phone calendar while I am there, so tend to flip past the reminder notifications when they pop up on my phone closer to the appointment date. When I arrived for my appointment on time I was told that I should have been there half an hour earlier and had missed one of my appointments (a check up) but was on time for my other appointment (hygienist) I was completely baffled as I had only booked one appointment to see the hygienist and was on time for that appointment. Anyway I was told I had to pay for missed appointment that I didn’t book because whatever was organised with the receptionist they had still sent me reminder notifications. I told the receptionist that if I had missed an appointment I would be more than happy to pay as I realise a business cannot survive with no-shows but I genuinely did show up for my appointments at the correct time, I paid the practice manager what they wanted as I couldn’t be doing with any fuss, but still feel wronged by having to pay for the receptionists mistake ( the person that made my appointment was not a receptionist, they were short staffed that day so somebody else had to do it, so her mistake could be understandable but still I had to pay for a check up appointment that I didn’t even make.Yes this dental appointment was very painful. Ouch!!!.‍♀️

Fantastic experience: I'm terrified of everything you could possibly imagine in relation to teeth extraction but I needed 4 out, Toby, Nikita, Hannah and the woman on reception whose name I unfortunately don't know were really great.

Fantastic experience: My husband found Arnica after our NHS Dentist told us that it would not be possible to sedate our needle-phobic daughter for the extractions she needed in order to have a brace fitted. From the moment we walked in everyone was amazing. Toby put Grace at ease, talked us through the options explained what would happen. On the day Grace was still very frightened, but Toby, Nikita and Hannah were so caring and professional she got through both appointments. Fantastic experience: Well what can I say! I’m an EXTREMELY nervous patient, so much so that I didn’t eat the day before because I get that worked up. Coming in for my main appointment with Nicola and her colleague, they could see that I wasn’t 100% and asked me if I was ok. They were patient and understanding and talked me through everything they were doing, and I could have as many breaks as I needed. It may sound silly to some but this really helped me and put me into a more calmer state. That initial appointment was done without a hitch and I could not be happier with the work and the level of service provided. I went to pay and book my next appointment (hygienist) with the incredibly friendly reception staff, and it was noted that they had a cancellation so they could get me in more or less straight away which was fantastic. It meant for me that I wouldn’t have to have another period of anxiety and that I could just get it done the same day. My second appointment with the hygienist team Emma and Nikita, I honestly couldn’t have been more pleased with them. Again they could see that I was nervous. They had a casual chat with me to calm me down, asked me about my day etc.. and then went onto the treatment I would be having and again I could have as many breaks as I needed. They were extremely thorough with the treatment and really gentle. After she had finished she then kindly gave me great advice on keeping my teeth and gums healthy. She also gave me a mirror and demonstrated how to use the cleaning floss tools that I hadn’t used before. Overall I’d say that my experience today was friendly, kind, thoughtful, informative, intelligent, careful, knowledgeable and above all caring! The waiting area was clean and light and refreshments were available on request and a water cooler freely accessible. So well done and thank you all so much for making the dentist trip a positive one for me. I have and will continue to recommend your practice to others. Thanks You Arnica Dental Care, Cheltenham!

Fantastic experience: My son had two teeth extracted this morning and it was a lovely calm serene environment for him. He was terrified about having them removed ready for his brace but the team were absolutely wonderful with him.

Fantastic experience: I contacted Arnica to try to arrange an urgent appointment for our Ukrainian guest who has significant problems. Having tried several other places in town, we were delighted to be offered a next day spot for both assessment and treatment. All was efficient and civilised and her problems are nowwell on the way to being sorted. I’m very impressed.

Bad gums .until now .my gums had reseeded so bad I needed teeth out .so I had 5 out Monday with Gill. And sedation .Well before now you wouldn't even get me in a dentist room .Gill along with her nurse Emma are fantastic . Very caring .understanding and kind .they took it at my pace . I'm sitting here still shocked knowing I had teeth out wow . I have only seen Taheed for a consultation and was really impressed by his knowledge, so I have booked my first treatment. I knew I needed to have some fillings done and decide to come to arnica, seeing as they had recently won an award for best practice for anxious patients it was clear I had to register and face my fears. Inside the building is lovely, non clinical look which put me at ease along with welcoming receptionists. My whole experience was brilliant, the dentist and nurse were very patient and put me at ease by going at my pace. I have had a very thorough examination and was given all my options to help me ‘get through’ my fear and have my needed treatment under sedation, which I didn’t think was a option at first. Huge thanks to Arnica and the staff for showing me a different side to gentle dentistry. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I've been a customer of Arnica for 20+ years - sadly not impressed. I only have a few expectations of dentists: 1 Reasonable price 2. Good service & 3.Friendly staff... not too much to ask 1 PRICE - is much higher than average for an examination specially at a time where people are tightening their belts. I was quoted £110 for general 1/2HR examination - after rininging around I found the going rate was about £55-£65... lose a point 2 SERVICE - To be fair to the practice I was with Leah who was great apart from last appointment where I had a crown fitted - Leah shaved off a bit too much off the crown exposing the metal so I now have a tooth that looks like it has a cavity in it for the princely sum of £500 - OK these things happen & it's just cosmetic - however I expected better from a "higher priced dentist" - loose half a point. 3. STAFF ATTITUDE - Today I needed an emergency appoitnment as my rear molar crumbled on the weekend... I explained to reception that I needed an urgent appointment, - they told me the next one available was in a week ... I also said I don't think I can wait that long ....they told me thats all they had available... so I booked I rung around and found another dentist to see me next day.... I called Arnica back & explained that I will be cancelling the appointment & leaving Arnica through lack of consideration for customers in pain & steep pricing. The receptionist proceeded to argue with me & said I never mentioned I was in pain ... I believe I did - but thats rather less important than the fact that the staff didnt listen. Some clues missed by staff:- words like "emergency appointment", "broken tooth" & "cant wait that long" were dismissed to be unimportant enough to be granted an emergency appointment by the gatekeepers. No one asked me if I was in pain, no one asked for details of how bad it was... & staff simply disregarded my request for an emergency appointment - loose a point... Sadly this is not the first incident of "poor attitude...my partner wanted to book appointment for the kids with Leah - she was told by the receptionist that Leah was leaving & that it would be with someone else - she aske who it would be with - receptionist couldn't say - no one explained who was taking over what their experience was etc - so Emma said she would leave it - the receptionist then tutted in disapproval like we wasted her time ... Yes if you dare change your mind about making a booking - the staff get the hump - lose a point Arnica have a beautiful modern surgery.... historically good dentists who perhaps have forgotten that an OK job is not a perfect job & they work in the pivate health care sector where customers need to feel looked after - I didnt feel that. The staff that in my opinon have become comfortable & complacent - Sadly I feel that Arnica in my case have forgotten to serve. I hope that improves for other customers

Fantastic experience: I went to Arnica as a new patient, because it has a great reputation. It did not disappoint. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Like most people I do not enjoy going to the dentist, but I found it not stressful at all. The dental treatment was excellent,and the dentist I saw was Dr Tobty Mitchell-Innes who was fantastic at explaining all my treatment options. Would highly recommend this practice. Well Done

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Arnica for a tooth extraction feared fused to the jaw. Toby & Chloe looked after me superbly well, before, during and after treatment. I was sedated for the treatment and I can honestly say it was nothing to worry about, all over in no time. I would like to add that Toby has amazing eyes, I was never confused...

Fantastic experience: It took me 2 years to muster up the courage to get myself down to the dentist regarding 2 teeth that needed extracting... it really had started to become something that was effecting my life, and choosing Arnica was one of the best decisions ive made!! I was looked after by Toby, Hannah and Julie and they are what made all the difference to me! Very comforting and understood my worries anxiety towards the whole thing. im not usually one to write a review usually, however the impact they had on me being able to manage the procedure was amazing...I am able to start getting on with my life again thank you to these 3 amazing people!! I also wont be using anyone else ever again.... I highly reccomend Toby Hannah and Julie to anyone that fears dentistry!! I owe them a proper thank you to be honest!!

Fantastic experience: I had an all on four procedure carried out with zygomatic implants over 5 years ago which has been life changing. Ellie and her team are caring professional and very friendly. If you are considering implant surgery, go and see Ellie, you will not be disappointed.

The reception team always give a warm and caring welcome, very helpful nothing is a problem. Fantastic experience: I've never had much luck with dentists, (with most possibly being butchers in a previous life); However, my experience with Arnica has been phenomenal, and definitely worth the money spent going private. Having a lot of pain with a wisdom tooth, I phoned for an appointment and within 24 hours it had been removed and my life had returned to normal, (the pain was such that my partner had to take pliers off of me, as i was suffering enough to attempt it myself, and I couldn't find a local NHS practice taking new signups).
