Positive experience: Update: Apologies as I remembered wrong about the XRay part. I went here with some expectations some months ago. For only consultation which did not include an XRay, I paid £50 and nothing is done. We just sat and discussed about the pain in my tooth for less than 10 minute. This dentist was advised so that’s why I made a long way (came from Sandwell area) however the dentist was making jokes and saying you must have eaten lots of sweets as your teeth are done several times before. Well I haven’t, and this is a very wrong assumption made by a dentist as there is a huge genetics factor that we can’t deny. I didn’t like the service I got here. Still giving 3 stars as the reception was nice towards me in terms of communication.

A coworker recommend them to me a few years ago and even though I lived in Worcester, after my first visit, I realised didn’t want to ever go to another dentist. Fantastic customer service and highly skilled and extremely caring dentists. I have since relocated a couple of hours away but still come to them for everything. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: So glad I found this wonderful dentist, needed emergency treatment for a cracked tooth 2 years ago, since then have experienced normal checkups, a filling, an extraction (of said cracked tooth), hygeine work, and very recently for the first time felt so confident in my teeth have elected for the their tooth whitening service. Service always totally professionall, calming, and always left feeling confident about my teeth. Treatment options always carefully explained, and zero experience of feeling pushed to expensive treatments. Best dentist I've found in 50 years.

Fantastic experience: Just had my last of six appointments at this wonderful dentist! Needed a few fillings plus root canal treatment and a crown fitted and I have had exceptional service from start to finish, all of the staff here are wonderful - professional, courteous, friendly and so helpful. Booking appointments is so easy and straightforward, availability is great even at short notice. My dentist Meera is wonderful and I have never been in any discomfort or pain when having treatment, she is so knowledgeable, personable and friendly and the reception staff are all lovely and incredibly helpful. Prices are so reasonable, not too dissimilar to NHS prices. I’m so happy I registered here they are absolutely the best practice I have ever attended.

I explained how nervous I was and the dentist was so reassuring, explained everything in detail and totally put my mind at ease. No judgement or lecturing (which I've experienced elsewhere). Easy to get an appointment. Don't be put off by the fact they're private; I couldn't believe how reasonable the prices are (very similar to NHS). Highly recommended.

Negative experience: First time I went for my teeth done I was botched he roughend my teeth which can damage the enamel & as resulted me in pain with tooth sensitivity, he didn’t shape the teeth correctly they was yellow & second time he corrected the same but one bonding well off after 3 weeks, I’ve had a refund but not worth the pain I’m going through because of this dentist not to mention I still have jaw pain & now clicking since having the work done

Meera is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. She is everything you look for in a dentist and more. Very professional, kind and empathetic with anxious patients like me. Surprisingly the treatment costs are very reasonable for a private practice. I came away this week from my first visit feeling so happy and relieved and have no fear whatsoever to return for treatment next week.

Fantastic experience: I can not recommend this dentist more. I was in agony on arrival and was straight away made to feel welcome and at ease. The dentist was so sympathetic and explained the options that were available. All the way through my appointment she checked that I was okay and showed real care towards me. I was really taken back by the cost of my treatment as extremely reasonable. To summarise a dentist that truly cares for their patients welfare, thank you so much for a great experience.

Fantastic experience: I can not rate this place enough. The receptionists are really personable and have excellent customer service skills. I originally had an appointment for a weeks time but asked to be called if there was any cancellations......which they did. I was happy to wait a week but the fact that they followed through and accommodated where they could meant a lot. The dentist, Meera, was lovely. She showed how much she really did care and makes you feel really comfortable. This is not an NHS practice but the prices are amazing. I've researched the prices that Dentist @ Maypole charge for things in comparison to many other dentists and I've got to say, their prices are so reasonable that it basically feels like it matches the NHS banding system anyway (in my opinion). They don't charge ridiculous prices and use people's vulnerability to make money. They are honest and transparent which is exactly what you want in people who are taking control of your health. Highly recommend this place. Keep up the great work folks.

Fantastic experience: I have recently joined this dental practice as I needed an urgent appointment for an abscess. Yesterday was a follow up appointment and I really do recommend. Their prices are very reasonable. I must highlight the receptionist on duty yesterday, really welcoming and friendly and that puts any nerves at ease. Laura on reception was absolutely brilliant & managed to get me a same day appointment (which I can't imagine was an easy feat). Fantastic experience: Well I definitely won’t be going anywhere else now, after experiencing excruciating pain for 3 weeks and visiting an emergency dentist and the dental hospital, Dentist@Maypole came to the rescue. I only wish I had called them sooner because within 5 minutes of stepping in their door I was out of pain. Greeted by the loveliest receptionist and dentist Dr Patel. I am quite a nervous patient after telling him, himself and his assistant who was also so lovely made me feel right at ease. I was warned by others that root canals are extremely painful, visit Dr Patel and they are painless. Honestly cannot recommend them enough, I have now registered my husband and children too. Stay amazing!!!!

He gave me a course of whitening and some bonding my teeth were difficult to treat and he did an amazing job. Fantastic experience: I've never had a private dentist before but after ringing around 5 NHS dentists and all of them being full, I decided to go with Maypole. I was terrified it would be £100+ but the receptionist was so friendly, helpful and transparent about costs and it was actually £50 for a check-up and scale and polish (I believe their prices are due to go up soon though FYI so do check ahead). The dentist was also so friendly and kind, much better than what I'm used to. I've never waited longer than 5 minutes to be seen at Maypole which is a miracle as I'm used to 30 minute - 1 hour wait times at my old dentist!
