Negative experience: I do not recommend at all. Appointments are constantly changed at the last minute and when you do finally get to have your appointment you end up waiting for 1.5 hours. If you do see the dentist she is rude and heavy handed - I have zero problems going to the dentist so dread to think how a nervous patient would fair with her! She's was trying to ask me questions while simultaneously digging an implement into my gums and wondered why I didn't answer. The last straw was when I was 3 minutes late and the dentist wouldn't see me (10 days post partum after they changed my appointment again!) I never had the x-rays I paid for and they would not refund. Head Office were supposed to call to discuss but never did. Overall, avoid avoid avoid!

Negative experience: Awful . My kids have been to this dentist the last year. They do not do well with children with additional needs. No accommodation for quieter times or more time in an appointment. The nhs seem to be ok with leaving autistic children to be in pain for 18 months while neurotypical children can be supported immediately.

Fantastic experience: Around a year ago I signed my kids up to the nhs side of this dentist. Their other dentist would only see them every 3 years so registered them with spa dental. I can not fault them at all. They are seen every 3 months. my girl had a filling and the dentist was so lovely with her. Took my boy in today who, admittedly is very squeamish and needs a plaster for a needle prick scratch. This was his first filling and I 100% did not think he would do it. The dentist put him right at ease. Talked through the process, let him take breaks ext. the filling was done successfully! They haven’t had any problems with waiting times, treatments or anything. Just a really great service. Staff are really nice. Absolutely would recommend

Negative experience: Just rang to ask for a quote for one tooth to add to my current dentures and she just gave me a quote of 900 pounds ridiculous the most expensive so far..and she needs to have more training about prices

Negative experience: i went there, i am only 13 and my ‘dentist’ gave me a huge abscess that had to be drained at the hospital, at first she had thought she had done my filling too close to the nerve.. turns out she left an air bubble in my filling but i’m unsure to as it was just that, i cannot insert photos of my absces but i can assure you it was huge. not to mention i have a bad infection which also leaded to my tooth dying.. i went in for a filling but even before that my tooth was feeling no pain before and before it died it was very sensitive i couldn’t drink or eat anything cold the pain would be so intense it wasn’t just a little sting. overall the lady was very nice but maybe it was a ‘little’ mistake, but that mistake has caused me a lot of pain.

Fantastic experience: Speedy appointment booking, excellent service and treatment for the children! Grateful to have been able to register the children here!

Negative experience: Had a positively dire experience here. Went to ask for help with a broken tooth but they were not interested as were more keen for me to have full dentures at almost £3000. Have already got dentures which are perfectly fine. The dentist was nasty, rude and abrupt, made me feel awful, and I paid £100 for that dubious pleasure. Whatever charm school she attended owes her a very large refund. Asked me to come in earlier than my appointment as someone was ill and then left me waiting for an hour. Wouldn`t have given one star but cannot post without doing so.

Negative experience: My son has had his gum growing over his molar for at least a year. after three bookings to 'fix' the issue all three bookings ended up being 'booked wrong' and only ended up being check ups, after a year of this nonsense he ended up with an abscess under his tooth crying in agony, emergency appointment, they swore to us there wasn't an infection (which we swore there was and needed antibiotics first) took an xray swore to us there was no infection, proceeded to cut back the gum, hours later burning up and swelling up, tried to get an appointment 8:30 was offered a 2 o'clock appointment with an hours notice, which I couldn't physically make so was offered next day. Went to emergency dentist, xray showed abscess under tooth which has exploded his cheek to the point he can't eat solids nor open his mouth to get a spoon in. Would expect some pain and swelling, but to the point he cant open his mouth? The receptionist was amazing, and did her best and was lovely, but this was totally avoidable will not take my children back. Would have added photo but is of my minor son.

Negative experience: Been trying to phone them for three days

Negative experience: I had to cancel an appointment, and did so before the appointment via email and also tried to call. I was then charged a late cancellation fee without any information what constitutes a late cancellation (an hour, week, month,…). Poor service and expensive. I do not recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dentist. Always polite on the phone and we've never had an issue getting an appointment for our children. One child had to have 2 teeth taken out to fit a brace and Laura the dentist couldn't have been more professional and kind towards my son. Thank you!

Negative experience: Absolute joke! After finishing work early to take my daughter for an appointment they turned her away for being 3 minutes late when you always have to sit and wait when you're on time!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend SpaDental in saltash. I took my very nervous 8 year old daughter in today to have some work done and the lovely dental nurse was so patient with my daughter and talked her threw everything that would be involved with fillings and scale and polish,and my daughter sat and had the work done and walked out feeling proud of herself and not atall nervous to have further work done if needed. Sorry I didn't catch the lady's name but thank you and to your assistant. Also the lady receptionist was very friendly and helpful too.

Negative experience: Broke my tooth,booked an appointment. Payed 157.50 .When dentist done the treatment ,she took 15 m she told me she didn't know how long it would last but I didn't expect to last 9 days.Called and asked if anything could be done.Reply was that I was told it wouldnt last long so I would have to pay again. It is a lot of money for a 9 day tooth filling.Been there for 12 years but will not go back. The only positive thing is that receptionists are really nice.

Negative experience: Money grabbing, all heart if you got a wedge

Negative experience: I have been a patient at this practice for several years and have put up with the poor customer care for years. Sadly as it has now changed from NHS care to private this is no longer acceptable. My last few dental appointments have all been cancelled at the last minute and this is no longer acceptable. Trying to rebook an appointment is not straightforward. With respect; if you are trying to run a private healthcare company then you will need to raise your standards as this is not competitive.

Fantastic experience: I honestly think that Simona Nitulescu is the best dentist.

Negative experience: What terrible customer service the saltash branch has. I needed an emergency appointment but couldn't get seen for weeks and had the phone put done on me when i asked how much it was going to cost. I can put up with bad service for cheep treatment but when I'm forced to pay extortionate prices I want some customer care. Don't bother choose better.

Negative experience: Been an nhs patient her for years and was always over the moon with the service UNTILL they were taken over by spa dental. Since then they have lost their NHS dentists and tried charging me private. Not happening. The service has really dropped so disappointing how they treat their long standing patients.

Negative experience: I have serious problems with my mouth, bad teeth, gum disease and bone disease in my my jaw. I was quoted £45.00 for an initial consultation. It ended up £125.00 with x-rays. I also had a very bad abscess in my face going from my mouth up to my eye which they would not treat without payment. I was then quoted nearly £ 4000 to sort my mouth out and they would not even help me with the pain unless I gave them money. Being in Saltash they rely on the elderly because they think they have money. Even the equipment in the surgery was rusty. Please don't go there, they just want your money.

Negative experience: We were removed from there books without prior notice, after being treated just a few months ago. We had phoned about a medical emergency for myself and daughter and now we have to wait to find another dentist if we don't end up in hospital in the meantime! Very rude unhelpful lady over the phone. No apology!

Negative experience: Disgusted. Absolutely Disgusted. I went to regular appointments with my children for years. Each time when we finished, we made a new appointment for whoever needed to be seen when. Now, because for the last 4 years they only made appointments for my children and not me (No Texts or letters to remind me) They have removed me from their books.

Positive experience: Getting quicker at answering the phones. Adrian is an amazing dentist for my daughter and myself. Very welcoming and friendly with children too. Esp the ones with anxiety like mine.

Negative experience: Poor work, should have been sent to a specialist, for root canal work on back tooth. Went back twice to be redone, eventually had to go to a private specialist who did the work correctly. Wouldn't recommend at all.
