Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Herne Bay Dental enough - specifically Ghazwan who has been incredible all the years I’ve been coming here. He’s knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and will always do right by you. Highly recommended coming here if you want a highly trained and supportive dentist.

Fantastic experience: Gabriella is the first dentist I have crossed paths with for a while who absolutely understands care, consideration and compassion for her patient during treatment. Her bedside manner has no fault and felt I didn’t dread going to the dentist for a change.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service I spoke to one lady that was really helpful and who was looking for a appiotment for me then next moment another lady came on the phone and said “nope we can’t give you appiotment bye” and ended the phone on me! So not only did they give me false hope but they ended the phone on me and was not helpful

Fantastic experience: I phoned numerous times to arrange my son’s appointment on Thursday as we have challenging diaries and your receptionist was attentive, patient and so helpful. I didn’t catch her name but I believe she had a welsh accent. Thanks again, very much an asset to your practice.

Negative experience: Absolutely appalling receptionists, nasty, bullying, toxic workplace and behaviour. Disgusting treatment of customers. Told wrong time and then went completely unprofessional and rude to my sister, left in tears after being accused of being liar and the two young rude women on the reception gave each other dirty looks. They don’t even send emails or messages to confirm, completely unorganised mess of a place. Extremely unprofessional no wonder why everyone is leaving this place, completely inappropriate. Mum phoned them up and she completely broke GDPR and said name of my sister without my mum saying who she was at all. Completely aggressive and rude, clearly no professional training absolutely disgusting people. Talked over my mum on the phone as she phoned to complain about what had happened and the mistreatment. Hope this gets looked into further because this is truly disgusting. Overall, do not come here. Run down place, useless, nasty staff and complete waste of time!

Negative experience: Hubby and I have been to this dentist 3 times now, after not seeing a dentist for 3 years or more, due to our last nhs dentist closing in Ramsgate. First time we saw a woman, who took X-rays checked our teeth, said all was fine but we could do with seeing the hygienist! Next 2 visits we saw a man who checked our teeth, and yet again we were both told we would benefit from seeing the hygienist! I told him I had a problem with my top back teeth, to be informed that a filling has fallen out but it would be a waste of time refilling it! I also said that the tooth next to it was cracked and that I don’t eat that side of my mouth as it’s painful but he just said ‘you have too many fillings’ I said yes I had a terrible dentist when I was young. So 3 times we’ve been to this dentist and they haven’t done a thing, just suggested we see the hygienist which is £65!! I am a OAP on a pension and hubby is on esa due to sickness so not working!! We should at least get a scale and polish with our first band payment! But no, just see the hygienist he says, we are considering not going back as this is a waste of time.

Negative experience: Reception team are lovely. Clean environment. However, my previous dentist here completely messed up 2 of my teeth. He used a temporary filling in one of my teeth and did not tell me. I have only just discovered this through joining a new dentist. Also, I had a severely cracked filling that he ignored, despite me telling him I could feel the cracks with my tongue!! Again, my new dentist has resolved this issue for me. The dentist in question was always very rude to me and un welcoming. Very poor service. Would not recommend, not unless you want more problems to rectify down the line! Now I'm having to pay a fair amount to rectify his previous mistakes.

Negative experience: Horrible experience this morning. The new dentist is uncaring, unsympathetic and rude. Resulting in me walking out in disgust( very unlike me). Will not be going back ever. Avoid! The reception staff are lovely though, hence the 2 stars.

Fantastic experience: Herne Bay Dental Surgery is amazing. The reception Staff are so polite , the main dentist is very professional and very good with nervous patients, and the dental nurses are very kind also. 5 * all round !!

Negative experience: Very disappointed, first the good, the implant I have was well prepared and seems to be fine, so as far as implants are concerned no complaints. As far as general dentistry I’m disappointed very recently I’ve had a molar filling and reapplication of a crown, both very quickly fell out, I went back to have the crown reapplied after only 7 weeks and they wanted to charge me again for a job that should have been done correctly the first time. This is now the third time in much less than a year when I have had to go back shortly after work done and been recharged. I am now forced to attend another dentist as Herne Bay Dental Surgery falls below the standards I need.

Negative experience: Took my grandson to this dentist it was the worst experience we had ever had the reseptionist was brilliant but the dentist we saw was so rude. frightened my grandson who is only five. The way the dentist spoke was outrageous I have asked them to take me of there patient list . They have always been very good with me but with this experience I rather go elsewhere
