Station Road Dental Surgery

Negative experience: Very bad experience today. I traveled all the way from Ramsgate, and my bus was unfortunately running late. I called the clinic in advance to let them know I was delayed, but they only gave me a 5-minute grace period. What exactly did they expect me to do to get there faster, hijack the bus? I arrived 20 minutes late and they refused to see me, forcing a reschedule. I made a completely pointless trip and wasted my entire afternoon. ​To make matters worse, their booking system belongs in the dark ages. You are forced to call them to make an appointment because they don't use websites or apps like everywhere else. Half the time they don't even answer, meaning you have to leave a voicemail, which is just stupid by today's standards. I will be seeking dental appointments elsewhere from now on to avoid this rigid, outdated nonsense.

Negative experience: My partner had a very upsetting experience with the new trainee dentist at this practice, which left her deeply distressed and anxious about receiving further dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant dentist explained everything as well as we went a long. I had 4 teeth extracted. Painless

Fantastic experience: I found Nuti Gabriella barascu very good, she told me everything that needed doing making it painless. I asked questions on the work and she was very knowledgeable. Staff are very nice too :)

Negative experience: Ive had terrible experiences at this place. Every dentist ive seen is rude no manners and no people skills. I dread coming to this dentist i have an autistic daughter who is unable to come here I’ve asked countless times for her to be referred and they are just so useless they wont do it. And also they never ever answer the phone it is near enough impossible to get hold of them. Awful dentist

Fantastic experience: I have been having regular Hygenist appointments with Naveed every couple of months.He is a real assett to this surgery by far the best hygenist i have ever experienced he is very friendly offers great advice and does a great job Naveed gets 5* From me .

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of this surgery for over 12 months, and the dentist Gabriella as treated me with great care and in a very professional manner, I would highly recommend. The receptionists are second to none, and are always very helpful.

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent dental surgery. The receptionists are helpful and accommodating. Naveed is always welcoming, calm and reassuring and has a great deal of patience. His dental nurse, Zara, is also friendly and efficient.

Negative experience: Was told to come back when my new born child had all his teeth, he now has all his teeth at 2 and a half years old but he’s been kicked out as it’s been too long? Didn’t think to contact us just remove us from the system. System is finished

Fantastic experience: I visited today for teeth cleansing which I was a little nervous about as I’m not very good with dental treatment. My appointment was with Navid who explained what was going to happen, as I put my EarPods on to drown out the drilling noise. Navid was very gentle but thorough and I was looked after very well with no pain whatsoever so thank you Navid. I’m not one to write reviews but I feel that your treatment deserves a big thank you.

Fantastic experience: I had a really positive experience at this dental surgery today. From the get go the receptionist was very friendly and made me feel at ease. I have had extremely bad experiences with dentists in the past which has left me very hesitant but the male dentist who took care of me today was excellent. He explained every step of the procedure including the tools he was using and took care to ensure my teeth felt comfortable before I left. I didn't feel in any way rushed or like I was an inconvenience. The dental nurse was also very gentle and kind too. Highly recommend as a new patient to visit here!

Fantastic experience: I'm petrified of dentists, to the extent I nearly cancelled the appointment, but fatemeh was fantastic she put my mind at rest and said id be ok, I had 6 teeth removed and apart from the injections being uncomfortable I didn't feel anything and from start to finish the appointment was only10-15mins long , thank you for making it as nice as poss

Negative experience: Ouch" A very bad experience again.. 1yr ago i had a hole in tooth - needing taking out as it was breaking away - was given a filling instead - which left me in immense pain for the next 4 days & was told to wait for appointment from hospital to have surgery on a few roots & tooth extraction.. 1 Yr later that tooth disintegrated with another - Extreme pain for days and 1.5"inch abbcess - in roof of mouth - I rang surgery & receptionist asked if I had heard from hospital - I told her No & she replied "ok best we start again After Max 10hrs sleep & Ltd food within 6 days n nights & loaded with Co" codamol mixed with my Tramadol for my Previous Disc & torn ligament injury - The dentist with zero eye contact - told me to sit on chair - she harshly grabbed my teeth & said - the two bad teeth will have to come out at the hospital when you have your roots taken out etc & the abscess can be struck with a pin - when im less in pain Here's a prescription for antibiotics for 7 days & wait to hear from the hospital"again" No apology or explanation as to why the hospital haven't contacted me prior etc.. 2.5wks later - the Abscess has grown - Not sure now - whether to sit at the hospital for 12"hrs in hope they can drain it for me - leaving or cutting it myself could cause potential life threatening if it leaks into my blood stream.. Been unable to work - so has had an impact on my self employed business - I wish I had stayed in my Home town of London - I've never come across so many people - who cannot be bothered to to do there job properly Even thou I've met many - who have been fantastic kind n decent I will probably get booted out of the Surgery Now for my Honest Feedback.. If so"i wi definitely take this 100% further..

Negative experience: I have just had the most horrific experience here this morning. The dentist Dara Anoushiravana who has no social skills or civility and his dental assistant Tara just banned me from using the surgery again because I spoke up for myself. I felt like I was drowning when he was drilling my tooth and the suction was not enough so I had to stop and say i was feeling like i was drowning to be told by Tara "no your not"...and Tara was just curt and unsympathetic and then I was told not to come back as I was rude to her for question her about how did she know i didnt feel like i was drowning. Every time I've had treatment here it's been horrific. Today I am outside up the road in tears and shaking. I have PTSD so this is really traumatic he came out and told reception in front of a room full of patients that i could not return. DO NOT USE THIS SURGERY PLEASE. I will be making a formal complaint to NHS England and my MP. This dentist is not kind nor compassionate.

Negative experience: Had terrible experience with both Dr. Dara and nurse Emilia.Will never recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Woke up with terrible tooth/crown ache. Phoned a.m.for emergency treatment. Given 1645 appointment. Got seen at 1615. Tooth out. Wonderful treatment. Thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: Emergency appointment was extremely nervous both dentist and nurse was fantastic.

Negative experience: Be very careful once you’ve had your treatment which I might add was brilliant. Always treble check and get receipts or 2 months later even though you have been told you owe nothing they will phone you to pay a bill. And to cap it all be quite rude when speaking to you !

Fantastic experience: Cannot thank Sergio amd his assistant Louise enough for their treatment today. I was very anxious due to some previous bad experiences but they made my experience and treatment today pain and stress free. The lady in receptionist always helpful and friendly and I recommend coming here.

Fantastic experience: Let's be honest no one likes going to the dentist, so it was with some trepidation that I started on my journey weeks ago let alone having a phobia of them. I can honestly say the receptionists, the dental nurse, and especially Ashin the dentist were absolutely wonderful, so kind, understanding and the time they took with me to assure me everything would be OK, the last procedure was extraction and I can honestly say I didn't even know it had been extracted, so all I can say is thank you ladies you have regained my confidence in myself and can smile at last without feeling embarrassed, would I recommend you, absolutely, and thank you x

Fantastic experience: I cannot praise this dental surgery enough, Dr. P is absolutely brilliant. Being a very nervous patient with a phobia of dentists he put me as ease, explained the procedure he would perform, which included extraction. I can honestly say I never felt the extraction at all, he has taken away my fears. His staff are are lovley very welcoming and his nurses second to none. Thank you all for being so kind and understanding especially Dr. P

Negative experience: Have had to wait over a month for root canal treatment! Have been cancelled on twice because of it and since I am moving location I just wasted my time even registering with them!

Fantastic experience: Phoned at 8.15 in the morning as my tooth broke and I was seen at 9.30 same day. Can't ask for better than that.
