1 month ago Fantastic experience: Its been my first visit to this dentist. I'd been with the same dentist for nearly 20 years, so changing wasn't an easy decision after moving to Cannock. I'm very particular about my dental care. Dr Arpit Grover looked after me on my first visit, welcomed me with a big smile, and patiently answered all of my endless questions. A very positive first impression. So far, so good!

1 month ago Fantastic experience: Just like to say thank you to both Dr Yusuf and Nurse Nadra for making my visit as smooth as possible. This was my first visit and everything was explained. I even had an extraction which the previous dentist failed to advise. This was done so quickly I had to ask twice.

4 months ago Fantastic experience: After having an awful experience with my old dentist I found this dentist still taking NHS patients for myself and daughters. Dr A Grover has been amazing with my treatment. Explaining the procedure, different options, cost, outcomes etc and finally helped me get my confidence back and to smile again. It’s a bit of drive to get the dentist from where I live but it’s worth it and I’m so pleased he is my dentist now. Plus Sharon his assistant who has been lovely too :)

I was nervous as I knew I was having issues but Dr Arpit Grover and the dental nurse Kim were so lovely, really put me at ease. Arpit did a thorough check and sorted out what needs to happen which wasn't as bad as I thought. They were very professional, approachable, friendly and so so good at their jobs. 9 months ago Fantastic experience: I’ve struggled to find a dentist for a while but eventually found this one. I’m really anxious about the dentist but I had a 5* experience. The receptionist was really polite and helpful. Waiting room was lovely and spacious. I saw dentist Grover. I explained that I was anxious and they talked me through everything which I’ve never had before. No judgement from not being able to get in any sooner even though I had cracked a tooth. My treatment plan was fully explained to me and the dentist I saw was really knowledgable. My mind was really put at ease and changed my perspective on going to the dentist. I’ve got to go back to have work done but no longer feel anxious about it as I was made to feel so at ease. Will definitely be recommending this dentist. Thank you so much!

1 year ago Negative experience: Hednesford practice was fine for annual check ups, but as an NHS customer when I broke a tooth last year and needed urgent treatment, due to a sharp piece of tooth constantly cutting my tongue, they were going to make me wait 2 months for an appointment due to a dentist having quit recently. They offered a private appointment but even then I would have had to wait for over a month! I had to go elsewhere far out of my area for private treatment, since no other local Dentists were taking on new NHS patients. Probably won’t be going back.
We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with wait time for an appointment. Unfortunately, appointments are in extremely high demand at the moment and our dentist’s diaries are fully booked. Please be assured we are working hard to increase our appointment capacity.

2 years ago Negative experience: Rubbish dentist won't accept NHS patients. Been trying to get an appointment with the dentist for the past year and constantly keep getting turned away despite already being a patient there. Due to being pregnant my teeth have been damaged various fillings fallen out YET dentist STILL refuses to see me. APPALLING SERVICE! They'll only see me if I pay as a private patient. (Pathetic excuse they just refuse to see me as I have a exempt certificate and they just want money). Had to go to emergency dentist to be seen.

Unfortunately, as this practice is already at maximum capacity for NHS patients, they are currently unable to offer you an NHS place at this time. In some practices where we have no NHS appointment capacity, we do have alternative private options for patients to access dentistry, outside of the practices NHS contractual obligations. We will always offer patients this option as an alternative, so our patients can make an informed choice on their dental care.

3 years ago Negative experience: Not very impressed. Was told I needed a filling & intensive gum treatment. Went to another dentist for a second opinion. No filling needed, no other treatment necessary! 6 monthly check up

3 years ago Negative experience: I booked my son in to see the hygienist for 4.40pm. I was contacted late morning to say that the appointment had been cancelled for that afternoon, no reason was given. Two days later I called in to the Practice to ask for another appointment only to be told that they had cancelled the previous one as my son was the only patient that day and it wasn’t fair to ask the hygienist to come in for one patient .
We are sorry to hear that your are unhappy with the service that has been provided to your son and his appointment. Hygienist do work on a Private basis and are self-employed, therefore they manage their own diaries. Under normal circumstances full days would be booked to ensure as many patients as necessary were seen on the days that the Hygienist is in the practice. I understand that you have since rebooked an appointment and I trust this is satisfactory for you.

3 years ago Negative experience: Arrived for my sisters appointment for a supposed hole in her tooth. They examined my sisters tooth and said she had a hole in it and an infection that would require a root canal surgery or a tooth extraction, the surgery itself was not explained and any questions I asked in regards to what they had told her went unanswered and I was ignored multiple times, my sister is young and quite vulnerable so I took control with trying to ask questions so my sister could better understand. We were told to go downstairs and book in for a check up, they couldn’t get in her until the new year for this even though she was in severe pain and it was not explained why she was coming in for another check up when they knew the issue and she needed the surgery to be booked in. Nothing was explained at all and as I work in the NHS in a patient facing role I was appalled at the care given by these healthcare professionals and the lack of communication with patients.

4 years ago Fantastic experience: Used this practice for 35 years and experienced change but the dental services provided, whether NHS or private treatments, have been highly maintained. My Dentist are Covid secure in all areas, dental surgeon never keeps you waiting, being very aware of patient’s nervousness! The receptionists are personable and I have to record my personal thanks to Sim, my dental surgeon, who not only has an excellent ‘bedside’ manner, talking you through all stages of your treatment.

5 years ago Negative experience: suffer really bad with anxiety so when I go to a dentist my anxiety hits a high I made sure to make them aware of this... at my appointment they wanted to take an x-ray and I was finding it really hard to fit it in my mouth and the man who was doing it for me told me to get out and slammed the door behind me.. my partner in the past having a tooth out and the lady had both her knees on his chest.... worst dentist ever I advice you not to go here
