Fantastic experience: Rang the dentist at 17:20 (Tuesday) for a recorded message saying closed, although the practice is open until 6.

Negative experience: They bunch of liers l give them 700 for nothing they wasted my money just for cleaning and fixing dosent even cost that much and am asking for my money back they don’t want to give it back it like waisting my money on nothing all they want to do is take but don’t want to give am gone repot u all for wasting my hard earned money l dont care what u do if u don’t give back the money I will repot u

Negative experience: Disgusting behaviour from the lady dentist ! Making comments on a baby’s features without any medical knowledge! Formal complaint has been raised but I’m in complete utter shock!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant dentist I had slight small chip was in pain and got same day appointment and the dentist lady fixed it for me I was worrying about if I lost that tooth it would effect holding my deture in place so thank u very much

Fantastic experience: Wow! What an amazing job by Dra. Safa Alzouebi at MyDentist in Effingham Square in Rotherham branch. All staffs are friendly and very accommodating plus a brilliant very thorough Dentist I’ve ever had who made me an amazing denture! First fitting and its already perfect! My new denture gives me an amazing smile. Kudos! To all team of MyDentist Effingham Square Rotherham. Never been happier compared to my previous dentures, this is the best denture I’ve ever had! I am truly grateful with their services! Keep up the good work!

Fantastic experience: After a horrid experience 11 years ago I've been too scared to even go for a check up. Bit the bullet and honestly was such a pleasant experience. Dr Hifsah Kiana and the dental nurse Rachel were so accommodating and reassuring and did everything they could to help me feel relaxed! My teeth have not felt better, just waiting for an NHS referral but will definitely start going more often to keep my teeth on the healthy side! Thank you so much for making the dentist visits a lot less scary!!

Negative experience: I have health issues which I’m poorly a lot (which is in my records ) and recently had to cancel some of my appointments due to health conditions sorry for letting you know I was going to be poorly two days before or one day before silly me /anyway night before my appointment I was took into hospital and the dentist was closed to tell them I was in hospital or maybe I most have forgot trying to keep on living silly me again anyway my daughter phoned the next day to tell them I was in hospital which the response was I should have phoned …..the receptionist was very clever to my daughter as she explained and now they have struck me off ….. thankyou for been so compassionate while I was trying my best to keep living. I appreciate you responding to this I probably do not come up on your system as you have struck me off ….Ive been with you for a long time !!!!

Fantastic experience: Me and my family have Been coming to this dentist for many years and my children always enjoyed going which is very odd?! David is so reassuring he explains everything thoroughly always very friendly and so are the receptionists and other staff

Negative experience: Managed to get a appointment through 111 they decide to ring me at 8.35am and tell me the only appointment they have is 9.15am I live a hour away and need to walk they won't see me unless I make it very demanding and rude

Negative experience: Called up last year for my teeth to be fixed as I need a lot of dental work managed to scrape the £300 together to get dentures on nhs as it's what I need only to be told and I quote '' well if you can save £300 you can afford the £700 for the full treatment " and then hung up on me. Absolutely disgusting way to be treated. I still have cracks in my 13 year old fillings one tooth has completely gone its just gum and exposed nerve puss and blood coming from another tooth not my gum from a hole in my tooth which I have to drain everyday myself smashed back teeth, front tooth filling coming loose

Negative experience: 3 years waiting and still waiting to been seen for child NHS appointment , and still can't tell us where we are in list , but you will get private appointment tomorrow what a shame . every time i call they add a Year on list...

Negative experience: I wanted to book an appointment with another dentist and they rang me back and said that they don't wanna see me since I requested someone else the doctor personally rang me and said that since I requested somebody else that he doesn't want to see me anymore and that they don't wanna help me bad place not friendly service.

Fantastic experience: I visited the dentist earlier this morning for some work I required. I must say I was extremely happy with the way the dentist handled my issue, very professional and will certainly go back for regular checkups with the same dentist. Excellent work!

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency appointment after calling 111. Got an appointment here. They were exceptional. Unbelievably skilled and professional, relaxed and reassuring. Got home and within 30 minutes had a call to advise they were willing to take on both myself and my wife. I cannot praise them highly enough!! Fantastic

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been using this dental surgery for around ten years and have always enjoyed a great service throughout. We've built a trusted rapport with our regular dental surgeon and every one of the reception staff have always been very kind, friendly, helpful and understanding. We have complete confidence in this very patient-oriented service and can say in all honesty that we've never had the slightest cause for complaint, for any reason. We're very surprised to see negative comments from some patients, who've unfortunately had an unsatisfactory experience. We're confident that these must be very rare occurrences. My wife's Periodontitis and my Radiotherapy for throat cancer (which severely damaged my teeth and gums) means that we've probably both had considerably more dental work than average, particularly over the last three or four years, and continue to be extremely grateful for the quality service we've always received. We recommend 'mydentist' without hesitation.

Negative experience: Says on the website that they are taking new patients, they can't even be bothered to update there website. Called today to register was told a 4 year waiting list. Beyond a joke

Negative experience: I'm been waiting over 2 years to get an appointment even when I was pregnant and they was supposed to check my gums as my GP said and recommended, they didn't even bother, keep saying I have to wait but doesn't say how much they are keep oscilating 6 months and when calling back another 6 months , when asking to check the list they will answer "we cannot" but if you don't call them often then they will say to you " ohh we are sorry we don't know how but we've deleted you from the waiting list we have to start all over " the lady answering the phone a lot of disrespect, rude,and laughing in your face. Shame for the way of treating people, you shouldn't have the right to work and treat people or at least you can employ better people answering the phone not disrespectful employees. You can check my name in your system you will find me in "the list" written manually cause as i have been informed the list is not in the computer( doesn't exist one ).

Negative experience: Rude receptionist speaking over me while I am trying to explain why I want to re book my appointment. Very blunt and bad attitude absolutely no need!!

Negative experience: The worst experience I've been having a gum problem for a while now, everytime I visited was told needed to clean them more, which I do appreciate, but my problem is beyond just brushing, they just couldn't prescribe me an advanced gum treatment. It's been years now, bleeding gums lead to so many complications which believe now have. I just don't understand what it is this dental practice. I have really had enough.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist, I was seen as an emergency on the same day receptionist were friendly and the dentist and nurses were excellent.

Negative experience: I made a call and booked an appointment as I broke my tooth, on the beginning I pointed out that I am only interested in NHS bands.The lady on the phone explained for me costs etc, made booking and assured me that it will be held for next day as I needed to pay for booking first. Next day in the mornig went to pay for booking. Another lady said that they dont make any NHS appointments anymore. She wasn't helpful at all. I would preffer to travel abroad for dentist works as I usually do, than leave them a penny. Terrible customer service. Luckilly found other place with nice and helpful staff.

Positive experience: I had a terrible experience at another dentist, after having my top teeth removed my new dentures did not fit at all. I went to myDentist on Effingham Street and Dentist Dave saved my life. Within two days i had a perfect set of new dentures. Thanks Dave.

Negative experience: Update. Been for my first check up at the new dentist, it turns out I need more treatment doing than what I got told in my last appointment here, I also got told I shouldn’t have been charged extra for a scale and polish. This place seems to have gone down hill in my opinion. Use to be a lovely friendly dentist till the original orthodontist started leaving, Got so bad I have had to change dentist. Three visits in one week and the problem still wasn’t dealt with after loads of problems building up on top. Not to mention pestered for money with out me having any out standing balance or having the treatment they are charging me for done first. Got spoken down to by a lady at respetion a lot of times and got mistreated by the orthodontist who not only turned up late but asked to sort out personal matter ( printing off an email ) knowing she had two patients waiting. Got to the point of complaining to the practice manager in which I got told to ask for a different orthodontist next time I went in. Not being ungreatful but I don’t trust anyone from this practice anymore.

Fantastic experience: I’m not a massive fan of the dentist but I’ve been coming here for past couple of month for treatment seeing a dentist called Jess, and I can’t rate her enough. Really understand and has done a great job with my treatment. Would deffo recommend!

Negative experience: Not happy as iv been took of as i dint make it on time as was stuck in roadworks. and the other time i was late i rang them and said i would be 5 mins late ther said ok we still see you when i got ther ther turnd round and said we carnt see you as i was late but when i rang up ther said was ok but i always ring them if im late i travel from brampton far way into town not like i dont ring up and let them no so left withoutva dentis

Negative experience: Emailed asking for an appointment and to call be on my lunch break (this was sent an hour before I had my break so it's not like they didn't have loads of time to respond), didn't get a call back so I rang them. Phone went to voicemail about lunch meaning clinic was closed so I left a message to ring me back. Still have yet to receive a call!! Can't be bothered goose chasing so I've booked in another place. Absolutely appalled at reception "service", why advertise if you won't even give people an appointment!

Fantastic experience: I had some fillings done today and the sevice was excellent all the staff are helpful and friendly and the dentists put you at ease, I would highly recommend them to anyone.
