Negative experience: It wasn’t as easy to book as hoped but then I am older. When Tara (I believe the proprietor) phoned me back, I was able to book in quite soon. On the day of my wax treatment, I found the location easily but parking there is a nightmare! The salon in minuscule, very cluttered & extremely cold! Tara was the only staff member there & it couldn’t really accommodate anyone else. She was dressed in a padded coat & additional shoulder wrap. She was pleasant but clearly has a lot on her plate. Although my appointment had been delayed at short notice, it was still 35mins after my new appointment time before I was seen. The treatment room was a cupboard too tiny to allow much movement- including assuming ‘the correct positions’. Tara was pleasant but the treatment was so excruciating! Since the treatment left instant stubble instead of being smooth, it certainly wasn’t worth the pain. Tara said the stubble was because 1️⃣I wasn’t used to it and 2️⃣that the remaining hairs were the shorter ones growing through from my last trimmer use (4 weeks prior). The pain was due to me being ‘sensitive’. I suspect however that many hairs were not removed from the roots & hardly surprising since there wasn’t room to move, stretch or hold skin taut! For me it was VERY disappointing I’m afraid.

Fantastic experience: Got my teeth whitening done from here and the service was 10/10. I was nervous as I expected sensitivity but there was 0 sensitivity or pain. The lady is lovely and even gave me a free sample of whitening tooth paste to keep. I would highly recommend x

Negative experience: Never again! The woman was rude, unprofessional, eating crisps whilst doing nails. Has no people skills. Asking very personal questions. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Honestly I’m so glad I found this place. The owner is so nice and attentive. I went in for a full Brazilian wax and she made sure I was comfortable and pain free all the way. Constantly kept asking if I was okay and being really gentle and respectful. As someone who doesn’t like going for bikini waxes because of the pain I can promise you that this wax was done so professionally and carefully that I barely felt anything. Will definitely be going again.

Negative experience: We had an appointment but ended up waiting for more than an hour. The lady did not show any urgency or bothered, there was hardly an apology and she didn’t seem concerned at all. Very disappointing and unprofessional. Never going there again

Negative experience: I wouldn't even give this lady 1 star. I booked her a month ago for 2 pedicures at 3pm. However when we got there she was with another client not apologising once for running late. At 3.15 I asked the lady how long she said 15minutes. I went to get my eyebrows done which took 20mins I got back she was still with the same client. Waited another 15mins whats the point of booking an appointment when you are a whole 1hr late and don't even apologise. Service needs to sorted!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Rouge nails, the gel nails I had previously where awful and she fixed them for me and was very accommodating when I needed an urgent appointment, I have since returned and again she did a wonderful job of my nails, I've had many compliments on them, also they lasted for almost a month and non came off until I went to have them redone.

My skin feels really smooth and soft and it was a nice pamper session. My nail polished was applied perfectly. Will definitely rebook with her.

Fantastic experience: I booked this place just from a Google search, I booked for a pedicure and last minute texted and asked if she could do me some acrylics I was feeling impulsive! And the result absolutely amazing as you will see from pics. She doesn’t over file like the Chinese places I find that they hurt after but this I don’t even feel like I have nails. Very friendly as well owner is very nice this will be my go to nail place now

The owner was lovely enough to stay open so we could get our treatments we were in a bit of a rush, she went as fast as she could and gave us both an excellent outcome! She convinced me to get biab which I am now in love with!! Unfortunately I don’t have a photo of them fresh but this is what they look like after 3 weeks !!!!!

Fantastic experience: I got a Groupon offer for the Gel Shellac manicure and had my nails done for first time from Tara. She is so friendly and done such a great job. I feel like I need to come more often! I opted for a light mint green colour which is a soft pastel shade and my nails were treated with lots of TLC, buffed and shine to a lovely result! I was so happy and loved them, and am amazed how they even lasted me for about 4 weeks! I got so many compliments from everyone around me. Plus there was no lifting towards the chipping stage where I went back to get the gels soaked off. Highly recommend getting your nails done!

It took me so many searches and calls that many nail technicians don’t offer halal polish which is upsetting, I really feel like those professionals lose customers. So I stumbled across Tara’s salon and honestly the whole experience was worth it and every penny. It’s affordable, local and importantly offers Halal nail polish for those who are looking to get their nails and feet done. I had a manicure and I’m loving my nails more than ever! Negative experience: The absolute ghetto. I went there and was shocked at the place. It was tiny and stunk of strong nail products with no air coming in, unhygienic and an overall disorganised mess - much like the service itself. I only stayed because this was the only time I was able to get my nails done as I have a busy schedule. I booked in early so that I wouldn't be late for work, which she was aware of. She kept insisting we'd have enough time. I ended up waiting 45 minutes past my booking time for her to finish with her last customer. She then rushed my treatment (french tip manicure and pedicure) in 20 minutes! There was NOTHING luxurious about the experience. I expected to have a relaxing soak for my feet, proper shaping of the nails, well-applied polish etc (this is the bare minimum at other salons). However, she rushed to "clean" my cuticle area - by just pushing them in with her own nails! She didn't wash off the nail residue from filing either and my cuticles were left dry and cracked. The filing on both hands and toes were UNEVEN which is very obvious when you have a french tip done. I had to point this out and she still couldn't correct the shape. I was very confused as she told me she had been doing this for over 20 years, so I would have thought she could get a basic shape right. She then rushed the polish as there was another customer waiting even longer than I had - this customer also ended up running very late because of her. She then proceeded to ask me if I could do the top coat myself later on! She also said she won't put any cuticle oil on because it might ruin the polish (due to her rushing and them not having enough time to dry)... she also suggested that I should use the air con in my car to finish drying my nails... I also ended up being late for work despite her cutting corners, so much for a relaxing experience! What a mess! I have never left a bad review anywhere - which just goes to show how unprofessional it was.

Fantastic experience: My nails have been damaged for 10+ years due to a procedure I had and they didn’t grow back properly. As the years gone on they have progressively gotten worse and I’ve been extremely self conscious because of it! I went to see Tara today and it was the best thing I’ve ever done, I felt comfortable as soon as I was in there and was so lovely to speak to! I will be making this a regular now I know I have someone to go to :)

Fantastic experience: The lady who did my booking is an absolute darling. I needed my nails doing before as I had a shoot the next day and I had to catch the last train. She reorganised her bookings just so that she could help me. My phone was dead so she help me charge that too, and the absolutely smashing job of my nails I fell in love. As well as helping my Uber driver locate me as the first one cancel the trip.
