And my gosh I come away feeling so grateful that I've found the absolute perfect dentist (and the dental assistant) who all the way through the appt was so kind and caring. Fantastic experience: Root canal treatment. I had to have this done and was so upset about it. However, I can HONESTLY say that it was absolutely fine. At no point did I feel anything at all, just a bit of an ache from having my mouth open so long!!! I had constant reassurance from Suresh, who explained everything as we went along. If you are unsure whether to have it done, DO IT! It's so worth it to save your tooth.

Positive experience: I was surprised to be charged 2 consultation fees,I ordinarily phoned dentist to say a filling had come out,got in the following Monday assuming I would have a filling.Ended up having a consultation to tell me I needed a filling and to book an appointment.went to reception to be charged a consultation fee and made an appointment. Returned to have my filling to be charged again a consultation fee and for the filling.i don’t understand why I needed to pay two consultation for the same tooth ?

Negative experience: First visit following relocation from Devon. Sadly also my last. As a private patient I’m used to a more thorough oral examination, including checking TMJ function, lymph nodes, not just “lift your tongue from side to side”. Considering I recently had a soft tissue infection within my lower lip, no attempt was made to check the site despite me saying MaxFax at NGH recommended the area was re-examined. I was in and out within minutes. There was no introduction from the dentist or hygienist, and very little interaction from either. No oral hygiene advice given, ie, brushing/flossing techniques that could be improved. Air brushing cost wasn’t explained by hygienist, (no extra charge for this hygiene technique at previous dental surgery!). On a more positive note, one of the receptionists was lovely, polite and friendly. I suppose reviews are based on what you’re accustomed to, sadly my experience was far from what I expected and am used to.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and helpful staff.. could possibly improve slightly by conversing more on treatment options and explaining what options are possibly available to you in certain situations.. i had to ask what would be done with gap in my teeth after having a loose crown removed..as in do i just have a gap now and thats it or could a bridge or another plate fitted ?! To be fair though and positive once i asked about this it was explained to me that a bridge could not be done as crown not strong enough to attach to and that only option is another plate but with 2 teeth attached now instead if just the one like at present .so all good except it would have been more reassuring if i was told of options rather than having to ask what could be done as obviously i didnt like idea of being left with a gap in my teeth as its on front row. Apart from this very pleased with treatment and friendliness of staff.. just a little more information explained about treatment would be greatly appreciated and reassuring . Thanks
