Fantastic experience: I am having a lot of work done to my teeth and in the past did not want to go to the dentist hence the amount of work I am having done now . So this is a new dentist to me but was highly recommended from day 1 my surgeon Mr Karn made me feel totally at ease and was very professional which also goes for all the staff at the practice. My current dentist Dr Simren Patel is the best dentist I've ever had. She knows how nervous I am, is always aware and understanding of this and always explains everything to me. Fantastic experience: I’ve wanted my teeth whitened for a while and getting married this August seemed like the perfect time. Following my check up with Gaya Sooriyacumar we discussed my options. Gaya suggested using their enlighten whitening programme. We hoped to achieve one shade light which I was happy to aim towards. I was a little nervous as I have sensitive teeth anyway but Gaya explained the process and reassured me. A follow up appointment to have moulds measured then another appointment to check their fit and give me the pack. Off I went to follow the three week process. The first few days after leaving the moulds in overnight my teeth were a little sensitive but the comfort pen did the trick. After 5 days my teeth had settled down and week 2 was a breeze. Week three is only leaving the moulds in for an hour every day. I hadn’t told my daughter I was having this done and she asked me if I had done something to my teeth as they look good. I’ve just returned from the de that to see Gaya and I’m delighted to find out I’ve actually achieved two plus shades lighter.. I feel so much more confident. The team at Billericay dental care were outstanding. It’s also reassuring to know I can go in anytime I want to refresh my teeth and just purchase the three gels needed as I have the moulds. If you’re thinking king about getting your teeth done and are nervous, don’t be, it’s such a simple process but effective. I’m so happy with the results.

Fantastic experience: so its somewhere around the beginning of May 25 and i go to see Simren for my check up. my denture was lost and Simren was most helpful in arranging a replacement. around a month later and i now have my new denture. so happy with the service. professional and friendly. i have health issues, so its great that i was dealt with such care. cannot sing the praises highly enough. fantastic people and great organisation. thank you

Positive experience: Got a price from them for a hygienist appointment which was sent over on whatsapp. Was then overcharged on the day. When I got home I'd noticed this and messaged them back on whatsapp to be told that there had recently been a price increase. Had the original quote provided in black and white and also raised the point that the website still showed the original price i was quoted. Was told that the website doesn't show this price to which i replied with a screenshot of the website. Was then told that the websites main page is correct but the section I was looking at showed the old price. First time using this place for the hygienist but will probably be the last.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, polite, knowledgeable, only recently changed from our old dentist who we had been with for 20 plus years in our local area. Sadly, they cared more about the cosmetic side and the quality of dentist had dropped. George is extremely personable, will talk through every option and advise you against work if he doesn’t deem it necessary. Very happy with our choice of new dentist.

Fantastic experience: Oral Hygienist was very polite, explained all procedures to me in detail and the cost of treatment prior to starting. This was my first visit to this dental surgery and will definitely be back. I will also be registering my 4 year old son and wife at the practice. Fantastic experience: I would give 10 stars if I could! I had my wisdom tooth out today by Andrew and can hand on heart say he was nothing short of amazing; his chair side manner for someone that really struggles going to the dentist was so calming, he explained the whole procedure to me at the beginning and throughout with constant reassurance. Dentals nurses also play such an important role during treatment and I was lucky enough to have Diane yesterday & Ella today, again completely reassuring me and making sure that I was ok the whole time. I really would recommend Billericay Dental Care, especially as a very nervous patient.

Negative experience: Needed replacement crown - first of all they changed the dates of my appointments and then said the dentist had left and I’d have to pay consultation fee again and have all new appointments. Unprofessional, focused on money not treatment - I have gone elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: This is an UPDATE to my first review a couple of weeks ago - Date 06/02/25 - Follow up visit/s - Again I would like to say that the treatment and level of service I received at Billericay Dental Care is nothing short of superb. Everything gets explained in detail re procedure and what one may or may not experience during and or after the procedure. I'm so pleased to have chosen Billericay Dental the service, it's a superb level of service on offer, and lets not forget he staff who are all very polite and very good with clients. Compliments to all. -------------------------------- Below is my original review of this practice. 22/01/25 My first time of visiting this dental practice, and it was purely based upon the reviews on there own site, and that on Google, it did not disappoint. All staff are very friendly and welcoming, the practise inside is superb, clean is an understatement, it puts most other practises to shame and I can name one or two having worked (building wise) in a few. I liked the fact that they seem and appear to be very caring, I've made two visits so far and both were a good experience, long may it continue.

Fantastic experience: I've always been nervous when visiting a dentist, even for a routine checkup but my most recent visit to have a tooth filled was the most relaxed I've ever been due to excellent treatment and care from the dentist and dental nurse at this practice, who made me feel comfortable and listened to my concerns. In particular, I've always found the fear of wanting to swallow while the dentist is doing any work stressful, but having the dental nurse take charge of the suction tool to remove excess water made the experience a lot less stressful as she could see where best to direct the suction. The extended and refurbished premises are very nice, as are the reception staff, which all helps when attending the practice.

Fantastic experience: On Wednesday, a front tooth crown fell out at 5pm, by 5.30pm I was being seen by an emergency dentist and at 7.00pm they were still working to make sure I could be seen in public. The dentist was due to shut at 6 and yet they continued to work on my tooth. The following day, I contacted BDC again as wanted to discuss everything that had happened and the treatment plan. The receptionist arranged for a telephone consultation for the very next day. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did, their kindness and compassion and cannot recommend BDC more highly.

Fantastic experience: Always have had a good experience here , staff friendly, polite, with good communication, and appointments, on time with reminders, Unfortunately had to have a back molar removed, the Dentist had researched my history back to 2012 , it was removed as painlessly as possible, after treatment explained thoroughly, cannot recommend this surgery enough.

Fantastic experience: Dr Dev was very professional and smooth with his approach to tackling my deep metal filling removal and replacement with composite material. Fantastic experience: My recent visit to Billericay Dental Care was first rate. My appointment was for a routine dental check but unknown to my dentist (Gaya), I had urgent dental work requiring treatment. To my delight I was able to return the same day for the necessary work to be carried out. Fantastic experience: I cannot rate BDC enough, all my treatment here has been exceptional! I visited Dr Sheena Tanna about two years ago now on their Invisalign open day, and was welcomed by all the team who were more than willing to help me get my perfect smile. I went on the teeth straightening journey and couldn't be happier that I took the leap. Sheena talked me through the whole process inside out and made sure I was happy and answered all my many questions. For the Invisalign treatment itself I was given a dental monitoring kit which attaches to your phone and scans your teeth on a weekly basis (preventing the need for weekly appointments). These images would be reviewed and Sheena would advise whether I could move onto my next Invisalign set or stay on my existing one a bit longer. Fast forward 18 months and a few appointments later and I have perfectly straight teeth! Sheena and the team were so amazing throughout and went above and beyond to make me happy. I also finished my treatment with teeth whitening, and WOW the results were noticeable after day 1! The enlightening teeth whitening treatment really does work and is by far the most effective I have seen. I would recommend this practice to everyone for all dentistry needs. To top it off the hygienists are also amazing, my teeth have never felt as clean as they have until I visited BDC.

Positive experience: Was charged for treatment when should not have been, I pointed this out was told by receptionist I had to pay. I paid, then waited for a different a different receptionist. She checked my file and confirmed I shouldn't have paid. But my records were updated wrongly. She said they would pay my money back into bank account that day. Which didn't happen I phoned them just before they closed to remind them to do it. Everything else was excellent apart from reception.

At the time, you were assisted by a trainee receptionist who was being supported by a more experienced team member. Unfortunately, the senior receptionist had to step away from the desk briefly. We apologise for the confusion caused during this time. Upon her return, she acknowledged the error and took immediate steps to assist with processing your refund.
There was an error with the refund that we only realised when you called later that day. Once brought to our attention, we took further steps to ensure the refund was processed. We can confirm that the refund was completed on the same day; however, depending on your card provider, it can sometimes take up to 24 hours to reflect in your account. We sincerely regret any frustration this delay may have caused and appreciate your patience.
Following your visit, we have provided additional training to our trainee receptionist to improve understanding of NHS bands and payment processes, ensuring such situations are avoided in the future.

Having had a tooth extracted due to an abscess, followed by a course of treatment for numerous fillings, I cannot praise Antara Sachin Torne enough. Fantastic experience: As soon as you walk in you’re made to feel welcome and comfortable by the girls on reception. My most recent treatments include composite bonding and an implant. I had previously been one of the most nervous patients any dentist could encounter. However since coming to Billericay Dental Care the whole team have helped me become so relaxed and now my nerves are none existent. My recent treatments have literally changed my life. The implant was in a visible area to the side of my smile line which totally knocked my confidence for something like 4 or 5 years. The bonding looks amazing and takes the chipped edges away, the results are shown in the picture. Thank you to Jad for the bonding and Mihai for the implant, as well as the dental nurses and receptionists who together make the best team you could ever wish for. Thoroughly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I have always had such great experiences with the professional team and variety of services provided at Billericay Dental Care, however their recent renovation has taken that experience to the next level. The reception area aesthetic immediately uplifts you as it’s so bright and chic! The new scanners used to scan my teeth are so fast and efficient, and the same can be said for the new CBCT/OPG machine. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My son loved the open day, the tooth fairy (Denise) gave him his Spider-Man tooth brush, and timer and now he loves brushing his teeth literally daily there is no longer a fight to brush his teeth he loves it! I would highly recommended this dentist they have but nothing but amazing with my two boys. George is just an awesome Dentist, we loved Denise the tooth fairy. Reception staff are always helpful and book in appointments and are so friendly and easy to talk too. Thank you so much everyone at Billericay dental practise.
Hi Natasha. This initiative we have started has been so successful to encourage our young people to take pride and care in their dental health. In view of this we are going to run this even every 4 months. I would encourage all parents to ensure they book in once in a year on one of our kids days. Its an excellent motivator for you kids.

Positive experience: I second the recent opinions. This used to be a really great dental clinic but unfortunately they don't seem to be very focussed on patients. They also really struggle with having any availability, even though I am a private patient -particularly for hygienists - which at the moment are not available until January 2025. - *Update* - they were able to fit me in with an earlier appointment but they need more staff. Wait times are impossible and it's not very customer focussed.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Billericay Dental Care with my 2 year old son and was thoroughly impressed with the care provided. Dr Tanna and her dental nurse created a welcoming and reassuring environment, making what could have been a stressful visit very comfortable. Both Dr Tanna and her nurse were great with my 2 year old making him feel very calm and at ease. Highly recommend Billericay Dental Care to anyone looking for a compassionate and expert dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had Invisalign and whitening treatment done by Dr Sheena Tanna and I can honestly say I’m in love with the results and can’t recommend her or Billericay Dental Care enough! Such a lovely practice all team members are so lovely and welcoming!

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend this dentist enough. I joined as nervous patient, shaking in the chair and now leave actually looking forward to the dentist! From the girls on the desk, to the dental nurses to the dentist they are all fantastic. I've had whitening and several fillings changed from silver to white, fully comfortable every time. I've also had implants fitted with Mihai and Ella. I have to give credit to Mihai's professionalism and how comfortable he made me. Thoroughly explaining everything I needed to know, taking his time to really perfect my implants. Ella is always fantastic support and they work so well as a team. I say it again, cannot recommend enough.

Positive experience: Staff were friendly and hygiene was excellent. The dentist was professional and encouraging. However, I was disappointed again by the amount of time I had to wait to be seen. I arrived on time for my 9am appointment and had to wait until 9:15 to be seen. It leaves me wondering how much time I need to allow for a dentist/hygienist appointment as I know that I will be waiting room for an indeterminate time. On this occasion, the team were having a team meeting when I arrived, which ran over the 9am opening time. I was politely told to wait outside but what is the point of me turning up on time if the practice is not ready? I then had to wait for the dentist to prepare herself for her patients. Overall, this is a good practice but I feel staff sticking to appointment times would improve my satisfaction with the service.

Fantastic experience: I had a complicated wisdom tooth extraction completed on Saturday. The tooth had to be broken in 4 pieces to allow extraction - all done with no pain and within 45min (and after having had the procedure and plan explained beforehand). A special mention to the dentist / surgeon, Darshan Boindala - thank you for looking after me so well on the day (and his team of course!)

Fantastic experience: Like a lot of people I have been terrified about going to the dentist and have avoided since a poor/painful experience elsewhere about 15 years ago. I was recommended Billericay Dental Care by a friend and contacted them. I was able to arrange a check up quickly which went very smoothly. Unfortunately, I needed a filling which was expected but not good news. Dr Simren Patel was amazing, very gentle, explained everything that was happening, checking on me multiple times during the procedure to make sure I was OK. Whilst I can't say it was enjoyable, it certainly wasn't painful or stressful. My view of dentists have definitely greatly improved thanks to Dr Simren Patel and her assitants/nurses.

Fantastic experience: No-one really enjoys going to the dentist! However the last few times that I have been the dentist I have seen is Gaya. She is really good, patient , understanding and has a lovely nature and has time for a chat to help relax me, we even managed to have a laugh! Excellent dentist and dental nurse
