Negative experience: I am (was) an existing customer and called around midday on 28 Oct to ask if any emergency appointments were available. Whoever I spoke to found my details and remarked it had been nearly two years since I last attended and I "hadn't been having checkups'". I did think 'damn cheek of this woman' but stayed polite and pointed out that previously I'd had a lot of treatment amounting to hundreds of pounds, and that treatment had finished. She told me that because I normally see Kiran, who was off all week, it wasn't possible for me to see another dentist. So I asked again to see someone else as it was for a toothache. She claimed that no other dentists were at the practice for the whole week, only therapists. I find that really hard to believe but, either way, she was clearly underlining the point that I'd have to wait for the dentist who treated me before. I wouldn''t have bothered to leave a review at all but made an exception to point out her attitude was dismissive and unfriendly. I've come across that before with some of the other reception staff which is why I didn't leave a review while having treatment, even though Kiran asked me more or less each time I attended. I certainly won't be using them again

Fantastic experience: A old bridge (over ten years old) failed as would be expected but the practice has been supportive and helpful immediately and have done their best to ensure that a toothless gap in the front of my mouth, is limited in time. They even tried to fill the gap but my anatomy would not permit. I am grateful for their work and care. And they are nice people.

Fantastic experience: Very pleased with the quality, treatment, patience and eye for detail this practice offers. My son looks forward to his dental check ups and the staff are happy to explain/teach anything he asks about. A modern, calm, knowledgeable practice for all the family.

Fantastic experience: As a very nervous patient, my initial consultation was excellent. Previous dentists have needed me to attend 3 appointments to simply manage an x-ray. Due to the exceptional patience and kindness, I was able to achieve 2 x-rays, a full dental exam, and a plan for my required treatment in the initial consultation. I am definitely going to be booking to return. I cannot explain the relief of finding a good dentist. Special thanks to Mr Khan.

Fantastic experience: I've recently moved to the area and visited for an initial check-up. I saw Fahd Khan and the service, explanations and recommendations were excellent. One of the recommendations was to have a fresh veneer over an old chipped tooth to better match an adjacent crown. I booked in to have the work done and went back this week for the procedure. The man is a huge talent, the process almost painless and in just over an hour he rebuilt the whole tooth which looks and feels amazing. I would strongly recommend the work done at Saving Smiles.

Fantastic experience: Mr Shah is a great dentist; very kind and patient, as are the dental nurses.

Negative experience: Called up to ask for needing emergency fillings done as a NHS patient. But they outright discriminated, saying that they only take children. Implying preconceived notions of inadequacy, to not be able to afford private care as an adult.

Fantastic experience: I have found this dental practice to be very professional and am always treated kindly and patiently. I've been having problems with a molar tooth and Vivak Shah's advice and help regarding a cleaning regime, kept the tooth going for as long as possible. Inevitably, it did finally need extracting and I was dreading it, but Vivak completely put me at ease and the whole process was quick and painless. I cannot recommend this dentist highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Very much enjoyed my experience with Saving Smiles. Attended as a private patient and can certainly say the service and job done is worth the price. Very patient centred and most importantly pain free.

Positive experience: Had teeth cleaned and descaled and that was not even a one star experience. Very painful and gums bled for two days. Went back two weeks later to have two teeth filled, well one actually had to be rebuilt as was about three quarters missing. Two hour long procedure and totally happy with that. Virtually no pain and the teeth look and feel great.

Fantastic experience: Great clinic. First time at a dentist for a lot of years, so wasn’t looking forward to it. But from the warm friendly and professional welcome at the front desk to the brilliant way the dentist put me at ease it couldn’t have been a nicer experience. Dr Fahd Khan was great at listening to my concerns, explaining what he was doing, and at allaying my fears. Having not been able to have my teeth x-rayed for some years because of a strong gag reflex, he gave me some simple things to do that meant it was a brilliantly executed process and x-rays were taken easily. I was really happy with the service, and the treatment plan recommended. Would highly recommend.

I was made to feel comfortable, knew exactly what was happening and never felt a thing!....I would recommend this practice for their service, staff and efficiency.

Fantastic experience: I’ve used this practice for several years now and can say without doubt the quality and level of expertise is excellent. Both my wife and myself are currently having some remedial work done and as always the treatment and cost have been clearly explained to us prior to any commencement of work. We have to travel several miles to the surgery but are happy to do so for what we believe is a quality service.

Fantastic experience: After being hugely disappointed by every dental practice in Bedford, I booked an emergency appointment with saving smiles who booked me in on the same day. Dr Ryan Khinda and Gemma were absolutely brilliant they were kind very welcoming and got to the root cause within my one appointment I could not fault their services and more importantly their empathy as I had been in excruciating pain for days. Our new dentist and the nurse as well as the receptionist are all very pleasant and approachable. My 11 year old son and I felt well looked after. I would definitely recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I found this practice after being given the wrong treatment and followed by wrong advice for years from other clinics. With an underlying health condition I needed intense treatment. EVERYONE I met in both surveys were patient, understanding and unbelievably kind. After 8 intense months that included Vivak discussing my treatment with my physio, I left today with a healthy mouth and a fantastic smile. Shannon, Vivak and Fahd are amazing! The team of nurses are incredible and the best hand holders ever !! Thank you all for giving me my confidence back!!

I needed the dentist because a tooth broke but I knew there was more issues than . I'm having my final filling today yes it's cost me but that will teach me haha . But apart from my teeth . I have never had a issue with any drilling I can't feel a thing . Past dentists I have felt uncomfortable like there isn't enough been given to numb me but literally I haven't got a bad thing to say . Fantastic experience: Dr Shah accommodated me an emergency appointment and then booked me back in the same day to have the tooth removed when he had finished with his other patients. He was very understanding when I explained that I’m a nervous patient and was nothing but understanding the whole way through the process. Having previously had two other teeth removed this was a completely different experience and I didn’t leave feeling traumatised like I usually would. I highly recommend Dr Shah and his team.

Fantastic experience: I am a nervous patient, who hadn't been to the dentist in about 15yrs!!! 4 fillings needed and a descale. 1st descale visit there was a big build up of plaque. There was pain but a injection sorted that out. The lady I saw was lovely and patient with me. . Next was a filling, little did I know how big a problem it was. My dentist and assistant were brilliant. It took about a jaw dropping 45minutes to complete. I was surprised I stayed still and fairly calm. With one tooth sorted, one due to abscess had to come out, I've now got 2 more to go and I'm praying the worse is over. I would like to say a big Thank you for keeping me calm and the wonderful work you have done

Fantastic experience: This dental practice is exceptionally good and I highly recommend it! Dr Shah is a magnificent dentist - and he does charitable dentistry work abroad sometimes. I feel that I benefit from his expertise very much. Would mention super Shannon Lowe, hygienist, who also did wonders for me recently! All of the support staff are lovely too!

Fantastic experience: Saving Smiles has a lovely reception team, great nurses and talented dentists. I have been attending this dentist for years and always had the best care. This week Dr Khan started a reconstruction of my top teeth using zirconia crowns and I spent 1 hour 40 minutes having a new tooth created out of virtually nothing! Outstanding dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Having recently moved back to the area this was my first visit to saving smiles for a few years. I was very impressed with everything from the minute I walked in. The receptionist was very welcoming and Kiran my dentist talked me through what I need to do to improve my teeth and gums. I have to have an extraction in a couple of weeks and although I’m a slightly nervous patient I have no concerns at all.

I am utterly thrilled and impressed with the service from Saving Smiles. They made me feel completely at ease and understood my phobia without judgement. I was seen by Fahd Khan for an inital check up and left with a smile on my face (first time ever!). I was then seen by him again for a filling, he was gentle, patient and thorough. Fantastic experience: After going 20+ years not attending the Dentist, due to fear, I had to bite the bullet and attend due to tooth loss. I had an appointment with Ryan and from the off I was treated with understanding and there was no rushing so I could take everything in. He completely put me at ease. Once he explained the process, it was very simple and everything was set out including the costings. I completely recommend Saving Smiles Rushden if you are nervous. The Staff were all lovely and understanding and I am now looking forward to having my new teeth :-)

Anyhow, I am delighted with my 4 implants and can only praise the care of Dr Shah and his support staff. It was well worth the money - but don’t tell Vivak. DM me if you want a direct endorsement.

I dreaded going to the dentist for any treatment. Since being a patient at Saving Smiles, I no longer feel those nerves. My dentist is Dr Kahn. I had an appointment yesterday for 2 fillings and actually surprised myself at how calm I felt. My appointment went over the time I was booked in for but Dr Kahn didn't rush and spent time ensuring my teeth were left perfect! He always ensures I am OK throughout and explains the procedures for any treatment needed. My experience there has always been extremely positive and I wouldn't go anywhere else. All the team are lovely and very welcoming. If I could give you all more than 5 stars, I would! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: After having extensive treatment at Saving Smiles, I have to say the service and care was excellent and couldn't fault it. From the start, both Vivac and Fahd fully explained the treatment schedule giving realistic timescales taking into account healing time between each treatment. They are very professional, patient centred yet perfectionist, not completing until they were happy with their work. A lot of friends have commented on my teeth and have recommended them to pay them a visit. Great service all round, they definitely saved my smile

Negative experience: I have been a customer of Saving Smiles for a couple of years and am signed up to a practise plan. I was quite annoyed after having an appointment cancelled in August by the practise. It was rebooked for October and when I asked about my regular payments and the loss of two months, I was told there was nothing that could be done. I just had to take the hit and lose the money. It's a shame because the service so far has been very good. But in this case, not so much.

Fantastic experience: As a new and very nervous patient I can say in all sincerity that this is a welcoming, friendly and well run practice. I’ve just had my second appointment with Kiran and her lovely nurse (large fillings required both appointments). They were very patient with me and the fillings look great. I definitely didn’t feel as nervous at my second appointment.

I hadn't seen a dentist in over 10 years and was a mess, I had to have a number of teeth removed and was very nervous, the staff made me feel at ease and did a wonderful job of making up some dentures and now I have my smile back!
