Fantastic experience: I have used the NHS 111 service to try and sort the issues with my teeth, since we lost our NHS dentists. It isn't cheap wherever you go but, the level of care I received and consideration to the level of pain I am in when having treatment was paramount. The equipment used is much better than the NHS, which meant I could relax my mouth more while the dentist worked. I needed specialist treatment for one tooth but they have a specialist on site for that. All work can be done under one roof as some dentists will send you elsewhere for root canals. A total different experience than the NHS but so was the price. But I can eat on both sides of my mouth now, that I often forget as it's been so long.

My recent crown is flawless - completely natural and indistinguishable from the original tooth (which I broke 50 years ago). A true craftsman, supported by a friendly, efficient, and caring team. First-class dentistry at its very best - thank you. Update August 2025 Peter’s a real master of his art and science - yet again, sincere thanks to him and the whole team for the superb service and dentistry. Wonderful craftsmanship from Peter who fitted my new crown, it’s so good I can’t tell it from my natural teeth. Lovely staff who made me feel very welcome. Highly recommended. Fantastic experience: I had a big treatment done today, including onlays, and I’m honestly so grateful to the dentist Peter and his nurse. He was incredibly gentle, professional and explained everything in a way that put me at ease. His nurse was so kind and supportive, making sure I was comfortable the whole time. Fantastic experience: I've never left a dentist feeling amazing before. What a fabulous place, cheaper than some other practices. Very throught, funny, relaxing. Amazing consultation with lots of information. Very fancy when you walk in and reception is top notch, clean with lovely staff. Even has fridge with still or sparkling water! I'm bringing my daughters in next. Really experienced guy, person centred approach. Felt well looked after. Actually looking forward to my next appointment for fillings.

Fantastic experience: After our visit last Monday, we just wanted to say a huge thank you to Paula, Avril and Trudy for making our trips to the dentist genuinely enjoyable! A colleague recommended Paula to us after I'd had a couple of disappointing experiences with other dental practices - and it turned out to be the best decision we could've made. Paula has been incredibly reassuring, always taking the time to explain any planned treatment clearly and carrying it out with such care and professionalism. I especially appreciated her fitting me in for emergency root canal work earlier this year. Normally I'd be quite anxious about something like that, but thanks to Paula I felt completely at ease. Fantastic experience: Recently I had awful dental pain. I have not been to a dentist in my adult life. David neal were able to see my very swiftly. The experience from my emergency appointment, all the way through to the dental surgery that was needed to sort the issue, has been nothing short of outstanding. All the staff have been polite and professional. Massive thanks to the Max fax surgeon and nurse during the surgery, it was painless, well informed with a lovely bedside manner. Post OP care has been outstanding (much better than my wife and other family members have reported in similar situations from different practices) While it may have been expensive (I don't know if its expensive compared to other practices) you certainly get what you pay for. Safe to say I will be sticking with these guys going forward.

The ladies at the front of house are exceptionally welcoming and attentive also! 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Needed an appointment for my Mum, who is petrified of going to the dentist and have the highest praise for this dental practice. The receptionist could not have been more helpful, arranging and getting back to me with an appointment that meant I could attend with Mum. On the day, Liliana was amazing, coming to the waiting room to meet us and putting Mum at ease (as much as was possible) and then completing the treatment required with such care and professionalism, assisted by an equally friendly, competent dental nurse. A stair lift is available to get patients up the stairs. The information for aftercare given is also very thorough and accurate to Mum’s experience of what to expect. Thank you to all who were involved.

Fantastic experience: Teeth in a Day dental implants. I cannot rate my experience with David Neal highly enough, I had teeth in a day dental implants performed yesterday. From the first contact with the ladies on reception when I made my enquiry to the actual day of dental surgery the service & experience was first class. I explained I was a very nervous patient hence why I had let my teeth get in such a state and they took this on board throughout the whole process & were incredible in managing my fears and explaining everything clearly along the way. I have to say though I had absolutely nothing to fear, fortunately 24 hours after the surgery I cannot remember it being performed as the conscious sedation was amazing, I just felt sleepy and the next thing I remember is being woken up after the surgery was over. I am in no pain at all, so far, no bruising or swelling either, in fact you wouldn't believe I have had the surgery apart from an amazing set of teeth that shine out at me every time I now smile. I would recommend David Neal without hesitation to anyone especially if you are worried about having this performed as they will totally look after you throughout. I'd like to thank every single part of the team who I had contact with because they all made the experience very easy for me and I wish I had taken the plunge years ago as I can feel my confidence in my appearance coming back. Fantastic experience: After suffering a TMJ displacement in early May 2024, no one I saw seemed to know how to ease the continuous, debilitating face and headpain. My dentist recommended an Osteopath, then a Chiropracter, etc. Nothing helped and I was taking a lot of painkillers and dtrapping a cold pack on my head every night. The hospital even rejected the referral from my doctor but instructed me to get treatment I realised only a dental surgeon could give; so I made an appointment at David Neal in Langport. Peter has been brilliant. He knew exactly what had to be done and in early December he fitted me with a brace to level my bite, to be worn for 24 hours a day apart from eating.. After 3 months, my headache began to ease, and 4 months on, it has almost disappeared, and I am feeling almost normal again. The treatment is ongoing, and I must still wear the brace. It is almost a year from my injury, and it has been such a miserable time, but Peter has transformed my life, and I will be forever grateful.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! Brilliant service received on both occasions , from the receptionist to the dentist . Anthea , one of the dental nurses kindly advised on the healthcare professionals at the practice and I booked my dental visit and hygienist appointments. The dentist, Amy was lovely and talked me through everything and advised me on my oral health and potential future work possibly needed . Nothing felt rushed , X-rays were discussed which was reassuring . My next appointment was with a wonderful hygienist Marisa and her lovely assistant Aleena , both were friendly, professional and made my experience painless . This is the best hygienist experience I have had and also the best scale and polish my teeth have had . Marisa addressed my concerns and exceeded my expectations . They constantly checked I was comfortable and also took the time to ask not only about my teeth but me as a person . Thank you for making my teeth feel so much better .

Fantastic experience: Over the years I have been treated by many dentists and therefore experienced many dental practices. Everything about the Bow Street practice speaks quality. The ambience, the reception team, the clinical expertise, the 'menu' on offer, the cleanliness even. Efficiency is in short supply these days; there's plenty left at the David Neal surgery. GO! Well, I've been 'Going' for a while now, explored their 'menu' including an implant, so, as a notoriously critical chap, I find that I am furious! I CAN NOT FIND ANYTHING TO CRITICISE. Thank you all. My fourth appointment with the Dental Hygienist today and I seem to be ‘doing my bit’ in addition to her meticulous labours. I also received useful advice about what I NEED to buy to improve my dental health rather than what I WANT to buy, effectively saving me money.

Amy took the time to check on my medical/dental history, then proceeded to go through a thorough examination, explaining as she went. Very caring and gentle style. Now my dentist of choice! Prices are reasonable for checkups, but not so for hygienist who are £135 for an hour. Highly recommed this practise as all good from the nice receptionist, dentist and all staff. Well done

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a first-rate dental service David Neal is the one for you. I would highly recommend Dr Piotr Ruzzene to everybody, he is by far the best dentist I have ever been to! He is very gentle, knowledgeable and friendly. His attention to detail is excellent. If you are thinking of having dental implants or teeth removed, I would also like to recommend Dr Lilliana Ruzzene. She is also very gentle and knowledgeable. In fact everyone in the practice is very friendly and helpful, from the receptionists to the dental nurses and the hygienist.

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased with the service I received here. I am normally quite nervous and with the number of crowns, bridges and root canals I have had I am well familiar with dentists. After leaving my previous dentist after a particularly painful root canal. I signs up with David Neal dentist in Langport. I had the prep work for an overlay done a week ago and it was amazing. They put a cover over my mouth so I had no water or debris falling to the back of my throat. Something I absolutely HATE. I felt no pain what so ever, I was so relaxed, I could have fallen asleep!!! I cannot rate them high enough. I hope I never have to change dentist again.

Fantastic experience: I was quite resistant to begin with, because they ask for deposits for treatment upfront, and treatment ended up taking quite a long time. However, the end result is fantastic. I've never seen such a good crown - you cannot tell it apart from my own teeth. It was a very demanding situation for the dentist, Peter Ruzzene, because I didn't want any metal in my mouth, which meant that I couldn't have an implant (and it wasn't appropriate for a ceramic post). Anyway, Peter did the most amazing job and I'm really pleased with the results. I went back for another filling restoration/potential root canal but he decided to just try filing the tooth down slightly, to see if that would stop the discomfort. The jury is still out, on whether that was enough. But I really appreciate him trying the least invasive solution first, instead of diving straight into doing a root canal, simply because he'd set aside a two-hour appointment for me. I experience Peter's dentistry as exceptionally careful and precise and the results are truly impressive. His sister also works at the practice as a dental surgeon, and while I have not needed to see her, she comes across as both professional and warm.
