Pagham Dental Surgery

Fantastic experience: Dr Erum Ali has been my dentist for a number of years and my children have grown up with her as our dentist. Recently my 12 year old daughter had to have 4 teeth removed prior to having braces fitted. She was very anxious to start, but over 2 separate appointments she was made to feel relaxed and supported through the process. It was notable from the first session to the second session how much more relaxed she was about the process thanks to Dr Ali and her team. Thank you for your support and looking after her so well.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Erum is the best dentist I have ever had over my many years of gum issues, extractions, fillings etc. she is caring, professional and a great skilled technician and has successfully risen to a number of challenges that my problems have presented her over the last few years. I would highly recommend her, particularly to nervous patients who need some care and reassurance.

Negative experience: Called the other day to ask if taking NHS patients, was greeted with a rather impatient and rude receptionist. Was advised to email our details to be put on a reserve list, which I did, I specifically asked for a response for them to confirm our details had actually been put on a list. No response, I suspect it was picked up by the receptionist I had spoken to. Would not reccommend.

Fantastic experience: If I could give 6 stars I would have. I was quite nervous about coming as I had to have my first filling but Dr Ali was very professional and very patient, showing me everything she was using and talking me through the whole procedure, also making conversation and putting me at ease. I also had a scale and polish with Cheryl who was lovely and gave me a perfect smile. I will definitely be returning to such a warm and welcoming practice!! Fantastic experience: We’ve been patients a Pagham Dental Surgery for a number of years now and always found Dr Ali to be so professional, friendly and caring. She has looked after my children’s teeth from when they were small, seen my daughter through braces and more recently been an absolute gem when my sons front teeth were broken badly Christmas Day before last, he had to have emergency treatment at the hospital as obviously dentists were shut, but Dr Ali went out of her way to ring me and check he was ok having heard about it. A year later he got an infection and was in quite a lot of pain, he was seen immediately by Dr Ali who alleviated the pain straight away and has since performed two tricky root canals on the affected teeth. I would not hesitate to recommend this dentist to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have recently undergone various treatments with this practice who have managed to fit me in at short notice when needed. If you are looking for a dental practice who will keep you fully informed at all times and is able to reassure anxious patients then this is the practice for you.

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful practice. The staff are friendly and efficient and Dr Erum Ali is an amazing dentist. She takes such care and her work is excellent I have just had a porcelain crown fitted and the result is perfect.

Fantastic experience: Dr Erum Ali is amazing! My son had a bad accident at school breaking his 2 front teeth and cutting his face and lips badly. I rushed him to the dentist as his teeth were quite damaged and by the time we arrived my son felt faint, Dr Ali took him straight in to her room and looked after him amazingly, temporarily fixing his teeth until his face had healed enough for it to be done properly, we have been back today and had his teeth permanently repaired and the look better than ever. As a family myself and children regularly use this dental practice but Dr Ali went above and beyond to help us when my son was injured. Brilliant dentist

Fantastic experience: Best dentist I have ever been to, my dentist here is so kind and understanding of the fact that I am an “anxious patient” she always listens to me and always asks for my opinion and tells me before she does anything - unlike other dentists that have told me off for being “uncooperative” when they come at my mouth with needles without warning - which put me off going to the dentist for about 4 or 5 years until I met my dentist at Pagham. I now trust her implicitly, she is very personable, always remembers me, asks about my work etc and just cares, so I have become a lot less nervous about visiting the dentist now. Also the dental nurse Charlotte is brilliant. Especially under the coronavirus conditions these staff are currently working under I wanted to leave this review to thank them in helping me with my teeth, even more so during this difficult time. X

Fantastic experience: My daughter is undergoing extractions in readiment for braces. She had two teeth removed on Monday the dentist was very kind, considerate, quick and efficient. Thank you so much for taking care of my girl.

Fantastic experience: Where do I start .....amazing staff and very very clean environment . So so friendly and so helpful . Kind and caring is the most important words any worried patient longs to hear . Simply a joy to go to the dentist now .

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service by the young dentist and her male nurse, unfortunately they are both leaving and the owner will not take us as NHS patients because her workload doubles. Gutted they were such nice couple!

Fantastic experience: Great dentist receptionist and dental nurse "Wayne" my 2 year olds first time at the dentist I was a bit apprehensive as my son won't even let the shoe shop measure his feet he kicks off big style, but Wayne came out had a chat with my son about dinosaurs as he bought one with him from home, even had the Moana sound track playing which is one ofy sons fav films, they made the whole experience a calm and enjoyable one. The dentist was also amazing playing along and making him feel like it was fun, I didn't get her name, I'm gutted tho as they will not be there next time we visit, as the dentist's change frequently, but they are a great pair and wish they could stay.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from root canal treatment. The dentist and the nurse were amazing. I am an extremely nervous patient and the two of them always put me at ease, explain what they are doing, and are so gentle as well as professional. They are a true credit to the practice as well as the NHS.
